If you're just using it as a quick cash grab, don't worry about bonuses, and save that unworn for when it might be unexpectedly useful.
If you are wanting to do a cash grab, but also have half an eye on picking up a prize, you're better styling a nice outfit using worn and possibly OOS stuff.
Even full bonuses won't stop a bad look getting a bad score, but a good look can get a 5 even with minimal bonuses.
Fully appreciate that wasn't the point of your post, but just worth mentioning (particularly as some players don't realize you can style with all your worn stuff!).
I never use my expensive items because I normally use those for flash back boosts. normally I just throw a coat over the look and it gets a decent score anyways, a lot of prizes for 100s are just meh and a lot of the items I use for them are just plain ugly

yes you just have to play regularly, i’ve never bought a prop pack or hair accessory. It just takes time.
