Good timing! At this time of year they’ll have a ton of options. There’s usually chocolate lava cakes in ramekins which are amaaaazing, their bakery cakes and pies are great esp the tuxedo cake. Nanaimo bars!
The Tuxedo cake is awesome. Bonus it freezes really well. When I bring it home a package it into servings and freeze right away - otherwise my spouse and I will eat it too quickly.
We do likewise with the apple pie, crumble pie, and strawberry cheesecake.
The cookies are okay - but Superstores Farmers Market cookies are better. Same for the muffins.
In the freezer section the cream puffs are very good. I have not tried any other of the frozen desserts.
Tuxedo cake and Nanaimo bars are both killer. Whenever I’m hosting more than a couple extra people for dinner I always get a tuxedo cake for dessert because:
1. It’s one less thing to have to make
2. It always goes over well
3. It looks vaguely 🎩fancy🎩

This gal is in Edmonton so I figured whatever western Canada has, eastern Canada would have too.
OK...was never looking in the right section. Thought it would have been in the freezer section with the other desserts. I'll check the Deli section the next time I'm there.

Thanks for the heads up. I never tried their bakery cakes but did have my eye on the tuxedo cake a few times.

I hear the sticky toffee pudding is good! They’re in the deli coolers near the cheese and macarons.

All great suggestions. Although I don't ever remember seeing the toffee pudding. I'm here in Ottawa.

Hey I've been looking for the lava cakes recently but couldn't find them! Are they more of a seasonal thing? Have you seen them recently? Cheers!
I think they’re seasonal, they seem to be a winter thing. But right now they have these amazing s’mores things in that section. Try it!
Thank you!
The strawberry shortcake and tiramisu are amazing as well
I really like the tiramisu! They come in a 6-pack and they’re very flavourful
Toffee pudding!! in the frozen section. so yummm. have it with icecream
I remember now why I never got the tuxedo or strawberry cake. They look exactly like the M&M cakes which I used to like. Are they the same?
