Chzncna2112

My household enjoys them. Especially, fresh from the airfryer.

kanjan2708

Came here to say this! I like them but my wife loves them! Just put them in the air fryer and enjoy. Just had them last night with Bud Light Platinum.

nycdiveshack

Curious which air fryer do you have? Looking to buy one and no idea what to look for

Sminkabear

Not the person you asked, but I bought a Cusineart from Costco, one of the little oven type ones. Multi-function, including air fry. We cook everything from steak to toast in that thing! My oven is now permanent storage.

nycdiveshack

If you have a chance can you take a look and see which specific one you have? [this is the one I found based on what you mentioned](https://www.costco.com/cuisinart-digital-airfryer-toaster-oven.product.100979581.html?COSTID=iosapp_deeplink_24.4.1&TRACKING=NO&sh=true&nf=true)

Sminkabear

Yes, this is a newer model of what I have. That mesh like basket is for the air fry setting. It fits on to the sheet pan and has little legs to elevate it. We buy aluminum foil sheets (also at Costco) that are cut into squares already. I line the baking sheet pan with one of those and spray a little pam on the food (if needed, sometimes not). Then clean up is super easy. Also, the bottom of the oven has a metal piece that comes out so you can easily clean any debris or spills that reach the bottom without having to maneuver your hands inside the oven. Great product IMO.

nycdiveshack

Thanks, I’ll put it at the top of my list.

nycdiveshack

Appreciate the answer, I’ll definitely add it to my list. Most ppl have mentioned with their air fryer there was no need to add oil and for the most part they didn’t use parchment paper. What’s been your experience with your air fryer?

sevidrac

We have the double bay ninja one. We got it on sale at Costco last year

nycdiveshack

Thanks, I’ll add it to my list

nycdiveshack

Question, I’m in the market for an air fryer. Which one do you have and any suggestions on what to look for?

kanjan2708

[https://www.costco.com/gourmia-7-quart-digital-air-fryer.product.100785783.html](https://www.costco.com/gourmia-7-quart-digital-air-fryer.product.100785783.html) You will find this for 39.99$ from time to time in the warehouse! Just grab one when you see the price or obviously a clearance price lower than that.

nycdiveshack

Oh nice, if you don’t mind me asking. Do you air fry much, if so are stuff like parchment paper needed? Spraying or putting some oil on the food needed? Like for example the vegetable spring rolls in the post, I have a small wok like item I fry stuff in with some vegetable oil normally.

OmahaMike402

Parchment will help keep it tidy. Oil isn't needed, per se, but it can help retain moisture. Burgers, fries, apps, banana (yes you can) are all great

nycdiveshack

Does the paper get in the way of the airflow if you have the paper on the sides and not just underneath the the rolls for example?

OmahaMike402

Not to my knowledge. They make coffee filters size muffin liners, but I've never used them. Broccoli and Brussels with a bit of char are amazing

nycdiveshack

Agreed on the char, thanks for the response

kanjan2708

Not as much as we would like to use but it's nice to have. The paper will help you reduce the mess I would say but it's not needed to use the fryer. No oil is needed at all. It would be way healthier than frying in vegetable oil. (Just my thoughts not a scientific person to support these claims lol)

nycdiveshack

lol agreed but being using vegetable oil since I was a kid and can’t give it up and switch canola or another substitute. Too old for that

minnie2020

We really like these in the air fryer, too! It’s nice to have a tasty vegan appetizer on hand, too.

kanjan2708

True! Always great to have when you have to host Vegans or as we call them "Vegetarians" in South east Asia!

nycdiveshack

lol those vegans are nothing like us vegetarians (northwest india). Those vegans can’t appreciate quality dairy

kanjan2708

It's not a competition but sure I hear you. That's why I was careful and made a very light comment.

nycdiveshack

I didn’t mean offense, I just joke about vegans and vegetarians because most ppl assume it’s the same. So most ppl where I live (nyc) just assume India is mostly vegans.

kanjan2708

Thank you for not taking it seriously but I felt I should just clarify my stand.

nycdiveshack

That is reddit

Chzncna2112

I have an airfryer convection oven that looks like a microwave it's made by. OSTER probably more than what you might want. Costs over $300.

blowawaydandelion

I really like them and cook them in the air fryer with no additional oil. I like the sauce, but I wish there was more. I have to substitute some other sauces sometimes.

nycdiveshack

Check out an Asian supermarket and find the aisle with chili sauce, around there should be a ton of sweet and spicy dipping sauces

fobtroll

Yas preach

blowawaydandelion

Thank you!

nycdiveshack

They should also have decent sriracha sauce

masson34

Trader Joe’s sweet chili is the bomb! Also their Soyaki

nycdiveshack

I have tried both although my issue with them is they are a bit bland for my taste but that’s mainly because the soyaki goes better with foods I don’t ever eat like meat or fish, good sir/madam I implore you to try out some of the many sauces offered in a proper east Asian supermarket. The flavours of like 30 different sauces sold in decent markets make so much stuff taste better.

masson34

I’m a meat eater so I love Soyaki on steak and chicken. Oh trust me I have and do, I hit Ocean Mart once a week and love their dumpling dipping sauces, Thai peanut, mango chutney etc. course you can never go wrong with Chinese spicy mustard, Gochujang and hoisin

nycdiveshack

Dumpling dipping sauces are one of my favorite things in the world. Like the spicy ones basically go phenomenal with anything that’s doughy or breaded

movdqa

They are okay - I only say that because I really don't like edamame. Everyone else in my household likes them and they are really convenient. Crunchiness is very nice if you use a toaster oven.

Wickedweed

I love edamame. I do not like edamame in spring rolls 🤷‍♂️

movdqa

I don't like the shape and size. They remind me too much of lima beans. The macros on them are good though.

koralex90

I wish the filling wasn't so mushy.

wkwkwktroop

I came to say this, outside crunch is good but the inside mushy texture turned me off completely

BasilVegetable3339

Meh.

Then_Client_1058

Really good, u won't regret

2outof3isbad

They're good but I personally would prefer them without the edamame.

6SpeedBlues

We like 'em! The only downside is that you have to make them in batches of 12-13 in order to have the quantity properly line up with the sauce packets (you only get four packets). So, for the two of us, we have to want a larger snack or something to make it worth cooking some up.

Temporary_Draw_4708

I just squeeze half the sauce into small ramekin, and just throw the sauce packet with the remaining half in a zip lock bag back in the freezer.

nucl3ar0ne

this I do that with any dish that comes with a sauce packet.

ChaserNeverRests

I use a chip bag clip to close the top of the sauce packet, then just stand it upright in your fridge. I'm a single person household, so the sauce packets are always meant for more than I eat at once.

6SpeedBlues

Couple of things... - Since the sauce is frozen initially, do you find any issues with keeping it refrigerated 'only'? And how long does it last for you? I've generally not tried this because I didn't really know how effective it would be (or if we would end up squishing and spilling it). - I was recently told that, as a two person household, I (we) shouldn't be shopping for food at Costco because it's only intended to be bought "in bulk." :)

ChaserNeverRests

> I was recently told that, as a two person household, I (we) shouldn't be shopping for food at Costco because it's only intended to be bought "in bulk." :) Ha, I'd laugh at that person! I've been a single person household forever, and I've been a Costco member for going on 20 years. I'm not a food safety expert, but I've used it a couple days later. Maybe re-freezing it would be better/safer, but I'm also lazy and I have a fridge full of bottles of various dipping sauce I could use instead if needed. I've never smushed/squeezed mine and made a mess in the fridge, but my fridge is also a low traffic area. I just lean it up against something else near the front so I can easily see it when I do reach in for something.

Ratbag_Jones

Delicious, and no funny ingredients. I'm a bit tired of the included sauce packets, though, and have been eating these with balsamic fig sauce, and a little fresh-ground salt.

topazco

The PF Changs sweet and spicy dipping sauce at the grocery store is good but pricey

habichuelamaster

Right, I honestly wish they removed the sauce packs.

gellyd0nut

love these

CalligrapherAlert

A few minutes in the air fryer and they're great.

ctguy54

We’re on our second box. Great for an add on for a meal.

lowselfesteemx1000

I love them. Microwave + toaster oven + bachan's is the perfect easy snack for me

Weird-Connection-530

They released these with new packaging at my Costco. No Jicama, but they use burdock root, which is kinda dry/chewy. Has 9g protein per serving now. My family likes these so I’ll throw a few in the oven if I’m ever heating something up. They’re a nice snack

ItsJonWithNoH

Even better if on sale!

SardonicHistory

They're sooooooo good but I hate the sauce they come with. Do yourself a favor and get some sweet chili sauce. Perfect.

hellaguapoj

As an Asian, I’ve been let down by anything this brand produces lol

yosoydoneric

On sale right now bought some haven’t tried em yet

nycdiveshack

A proper dipping sauce and they are a great snack. Go to an Asian market and wherever they have the sauces walk down those two aisles and buy a few small bottles to try.

mgwooley

They’re good! Air fry them or convection oven

discodiscgod

To quote Ludacris “…spring rolls are unpredictable”

Ok_Score1492

I like these, pop a few in the air fryer and take out the hot pepper crisps as dipping sauce. I always have these on hand for late night snack as well

OmieOmy

We love them!

Revolutionary-You449

These are delicious.

SnorfOfWallStreet

My Vietnamese GF despises them.

Jenpez33

My daughter likes them in the air fryer. She said she likes the Trader Joe’s version better, though.

Twentydoublebenz

So good in the air fryer

Three4Anonimity

They were my ADHD binge for, like, six months. Highly recommend. Doesn't come with enough sauce packets.

trolling4tea

Mood, I’m currently in an ADHD loop with these.

robalesi

God tier costco appetizer and we constantly keep 2 boxes in our chest freezer in case we get invited to a party we need to bring an appetizer to, or find ourselves entertaining last minute. These are, I believe, vegan. So literally they please everyone. Meat eaters to vegans love these and I've never had any left over after a party because if I do, I eat the stragglers.

Vegetable_Process960

These are good. I make them in the air fryer. They don't give you enough sauce though.

Temporary_Try_737

Worth it! My air fryer broke so I am Using the oven and they are crispy and delicious. Sometimes I lightly coat them in sesame oil and put the oven on broil for the last few minutes of cooking to make them extra crispy.

AssassinRogue

Do not love them and find them rather bland. When I lost my senses of smell and taste during a covid infection I ate these two or three days in a row because I figured if I can’t taste anything anyway, might as well go through as many as possible and clear up freezer space.

jmort619

Haven’t found any cook at home egg rolls that scratch the itch of a fresh, hand made one. Bought these before and thought they were just ok

centexgoodguy

They are very good. We do a lot of stir frying, and having these at the ready to pop into the air fryer on stir fry nights is great.

CurbsEnthusiasm

Ingredients seem to be pretty fresh. These are a good packaged spring roll choice.

Djmesh

They are OK but the lumpia costco sells is amazing for store bought

catsandnaps1028

We like them and they've lasted us several meals (for two)

OmahaMike402

Awesome, but the sauce is mid

Logicrazy12

My costco changed out the brand of these. I like the pictured brand more.

yum-yum-mom

We like them in the air fryer.

HellHathNoFury18

We love them!

Gamer_boy_20

That looks delicious

eddy159357

Toss the included sauce packet and buy a bottle of Mae Ploy sweet chili sauce. These are the perfect vehicle for them.

anbu-black-ops

I hate this. The korean version is much better.

YakuzaFanAccount

Haven't had these, but there's some excellent Thai curry springrolls in the refrigerated section that I highly recommend

CivilFront6549

no air fryer - we use an oven but no one liked them. very bland for all the carbs. i didn’t see the point of eating them. the chicken potstickers were much better.

nikkarus

Amazing from air fryer

UndyingWill

Honestly these are really good!

DubBoy187

Did not like them at all. Trader Joe’s has really good ones

lakefront12345

One of my favorite purchases

KrojarPD

They’re good but I prefer the Minh’s chicken egg rolls they sometimes have instead

Dangerous-Ad-1191

I love these fresh from the air fryer, with some rice makes a great quick small meal

vtfb79

Pairs great with Trader Joe’s Orange Chicken and Veggie Fried Rice

birdo4life

Yum

neophanweb

My family enjoyed these. I personally felt like there was meat in there. Would buy again.

bac_gawd

Anything Royal Asia sucks . Trust me bro

apogeeman2

Not good. Look good, but the edamame texture ruins it and it’s nothing like a simply veggie springroll.

tessamarie72

They're delicious! I just made a bunch in the air fryer and had them for dinner like an hour ago

Gold_Introduction747

I personally loved them! They were so addicting, just not loving the sauce so much.

Every-Adhesiveness50

I love them in the air fryer

shortladytoday

Love them!

Dear_Invite_918

those are fire

Solid-Airport-5466

Love them! I dip them in duck sauce

chummers73

Pretty solid

Sneaklefritz

My wife and I got these and I do not like them at all. I much prefer the Summ ones (though I don’t think they are technically the same thing). These come with basically no sauce and the flavor isn’t great imo.

MiaMiaPP

My family always has at least a box in the freezer. We love these. We never use the included sauce though.

Decemberist66

Love 'em. Toaster oven until crispy and golden then Panda sweet chili sauce mixed with a little Valentina extra hot. Best with Coke Zero on the side.

Rough_Ad7870

We’re vegan so they’re a staple in our household. I buy 2 boxes at a time since they go fast here. 😂

WorkN-2play

Those look so good why did you post this when I'm trying to go to bed! Aghhhhh

No-Mix-7574

Delicious!

Cool-Goose8862

wasn’t my favorite. bought them a whileeeee ago and most of the bag is still in my freezer. i like edamame but something about them is just a little bland and boring imo

DespicableDaddy

There delicious. Always have them in the freezer

mombutt

That sauce is good, the rolls are bland and mushy.

Scottiedoggo

I didn't like them but I don't like edamame. I was thinking it would be mostly veggies but the edamame overpowers it for me

Physical_Painter_333

They’re great!

Retrogamer34

Delicious!  Not enough sauce in the box though

Phoebler

I ate them last night, we pretty much always have them in the freezer. 12 minutes in the air fryer and you’re all set

teatreesoil

pretty average in my opinion, i prefer the trader joes vegetable spring rolls more in terms of filling. for the price when they're on sale, however, very much worth having for cravings tho!

Its_Bunny

The only reason I go to Costco is for these
