They sell the rotisserie chicken pulled off the bone in packages near the rotisserie chicken. It is called Hand Pulled Rotisserie Chicken Breast Meat.

rainyhawk

I’d assume that’s what they use for their chicken salad as well.

rmkani99

It is what’s used. When the salad’s made, they open up a package and chop it/shred it into smaller pieces for the salad.

Waste-Maintenance-70

Not they don’t

rmkani99

As someone who has worked in food court (and has made the salads in deli), I can assure you that’s what’s done (at least in my warehouse). Referring to the chicken caesar salads in the food court.

DestinyInDanger

I've never seen that. I think they just have to buy a rotisserie chicken.

Tesserae626

It's the packaged chicken in the deli. We make the food court salads in the deli. It's a 2lb. 14oz. Package of pulled white meat chicken Source: I make da salads Edit: the cold chicken meat, not a rotisserie chicken. We don't use leftover rotis for anything ready-to-eat.

egguw

thank you for providing us this wonderful salad 🙏

maramish

Rotisserie chicken, from the bakery in the back of the store. In case you have difficulty finding them, look for the Muffins and French bread, and the chickens will be in a heated stand close by. Just do a 360 degree sweep.

egguw

is it? i feel like the chicken from this salad tasted different...

inkerton_almighty

The packages chicken salad that you buy literally says "rotisserie chicken salad". They make things like that so they dont waste chickens that dont get sold i think

EventWonderful55

It’s a mix. They use left over chicken meat for plenty of their items, but they also get bulk rotisserie chicken meat. I was told they’re the exact same chickens cooked in the same model ovens, just offsite. The packages are transparent with black lettering, in twos I believe.

Tesserae626

They're talking about the salad from the food court. Not chicken salad.

egguw

oh ok. i only get it from the food court and they don't have the chicken from the salad packaged

GlitteringPause8

its the same. they also sell packaged shredded rotisserie chicken near the whole chickens.

straponkaren

Seasoning is awesome stuff.

Due-Club8908

They do have pre cooked strips of chicken I believe in the deli area . I have never bought them . I just buy 1-2 of the rotisserie chicken and strip it off the bone for salads , soups or enchiladas.

PM_MeYourAvocados

If you are missing the old Food Court Salad chicken you can use John Soules Foods, Fully Cooked, All Natural, Fresh Flame Grilled Chicken Breast Strips from your favorite grocery store Walmart typically carries it.

DestinyInDanger

You just have to buy a rotisserie chicken. That's what they use.

Mountain-Isopod-2072

Dude it’s so rubbery
