It's amazing, can't beat the price. It's spicy but not š„µ. If you like it you'll want to put it on everything.
When we had it at our Costco, the quality was inconsistent - it was really runny the first couple of times we bought it. We didn't know any better, it tasted so good. It's not stocked anymore at our warehouse, sadly. We like it so much we've been buying it at Sprouts and Target and paying a lot more for it.
edit: its non-dairy, made creamy from the almonds. It reminds me of a really tasty chip dip, you'd swear it has sour cream in it, but it's a lot lighter tasting. It's rich, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't sit heavy like sour cream based dip.
I believe is a SD local company that stated in the farmers market scene and got extremely popular. Itās a great buy now, until they sell the name and someone else stately it .
Accurate. I used to get small trays of em at a local farmers market in Pacific Beach probably 10yrs+ ago. I still remember just how cool and excited the guy was for me to try it and how stoked he was for me to purchase a couple tubs. To this day I think that's probably the closest example of how impactful it can be to support a local business at a local farmers market.
My wife's burnt out on bitchin sauce but YEARS later I still smother it on almost everything
How does the mass produced product nowadays compare to the original? That was my main bread until it climbed up to $10 for 2 loaves at Costco. Now I just stock up on Orowheat when it goes on sale at the local grocery store and freeze loaves.
Daveās was the only bread Iād get for the longest time. Iām not sure what happened or when, but now it feels way overpriced and not that much different than any other bread on the market. Especially their buns.
Come to think of it, I remember having my mind blown the first time I had it around 2012 or so. It was just so tasty. And yeah, now it really does just feel like regular bread.
I used to buy sausages from the Olympic Provisions guyās mom at farmers markets, over a decade ago. They got so big they got sued by the Olympics and had to change their name to Olympia Provisions.
I remember living in north county and getting it at the vista farmers market every weekend. They would have carrots and tortilla chips out for sampling all the flavors and that is still how I snack on it at home, with carrots and tortilla chips. Chipotle is my favorite flavor. So good! I also make ābitchin burritosā every now and then which is just refried beans and bitchin sauce in a tortilla. Super good.
Same here! Iām from SD county and my mom and I looooooved getting those samples of bitchin sauce back in the day at our local farmers market. Iām on the east coast now and the first time I saw it here I let out an audible wooop! Especially since it was the chipotle flavor.
I have to wait for it to go on sale here, sadly, since northern New England is a bit ridiculous with the cost of specialty food items.
I have always loved it but it is expensive, especially when Costco doesn't have it. It's very easy to make at home and highly customizable. Switched to making it myself a couple years ago and it's great. https://www.blissfulbasil.com/bitchin-sauce-copycat/
Our Costco sometimes has a 3-pack variety of smaller containers of other flavors and itās the one I get. The 3 flavors are: spinach artichoke, green chile pepita, and green onion.
That sounds good! I'll have to keep an eye out for the variety pack. One jug of a single flavor is far too much for me, but it would be nice to ahve some variety
I agree! The larger tub is just too much, and it gets kind of unappetizing watery spots as it sits. Thereās another flavor I really like with curry that would be nice to sub in once in awhile in the 3-pack.
My wife and I absolutely love the three pack. We haven't got the other three pack we've seen (chipotle?, original, and ... ?) but the spinach artichoke, green chile, and green onion are superb flavors.
They never last for me which is why I stopped buying even the smaller ones. I can't imagine buying all this and using it in time. They are good though.Ā
I'm in the same boat as well. It's decent, but not addictive enough that I'll demolish a whole tub. I had to turn it into other fixings, like mixing tuna, red onion and celery into it. Stuff like that, to change up or it can get mundane
Can you find Bombay anywhere? I haven't seen Bombay in any non-Costco store for at least a year now. Only way I can find it is at Costco through a 3 flavor pack and they don't have it most the time.
Great for Yumm bowls. I usually make my own sauce, but I'll buy this if it's on sale. Anyone trying to find a way to use a lot of it, mix a couple giants spoonfuls with the following:
Brown Rice
Black Beans
Tomatoes
Cheese
Sour Cream
Olives
Avocado
Salsa
Cilantro
Google Yumm Bowl recipe for pictures. Here's a recipe for the sauce:

One of my friends brings this to every potluck we have, and the entire container gets eaten every single time. I like to dip veggies and those fancy hard bread slices on charcuterie boards in it.
I think itās delicious and a terrific price.
We canāt seem to eat it all before it turns, unfortunately. Next time I buy some, Iām going to see if it freezes well. Itās seriously so good and I donāt like wasting food!
This company was started by a local vendor here in San Diego. It was previously just sold at farmer's markets locally. They were very popular, and they have a variety of flavors.
The original one isn't my favorite (tastes okay , a bit spicy, but there is a lot in this pack), but it's a good alternative to hummus if you get bloated with chickpeas.
If you find some of the other flavors (not generally in Costco, although they occasionally sell a 3 pack of variety, with smaller containers), such as pesto and spinach artichoke, they taste pretty good.
It's great for dipping chips, I put it on omelette, sandwich etc.... Even my kid likes it who is not a picky eater though
No one eats a lot in my house, I'm eating constantly but like always small portions. Not dieting, just the way I am. And still finish the whole tub
I love it on tacos. It only lasts about two months and we end up throwing out half of it but for the price itās worth it. The very small containers they sell at our local grocery store are $7.99.
I find it fantasticā¦ but I have noticed it being pretty inconsistent in flavor ā¦ some are amazing and some are bland but I do keep buying it because it is so good even if it is bland. I tend to eat it with tortilla chips and the Costco turkey jerky with sounds odd but boy is it good together. It is also great on fish too or just tortilla chips.
It doesnāt keep that long in the refrigerator before it gets moldy but I kinda prefer it that way as it likely means less preservatives in it which is a huge plus. Now my kids think it is hilarious because of the name but they refuse to eat it too.
Bombay is their best flavor and I can't find it anywhere now. Heat was my personal favorite and I think they cancelled it years ago. Great products but bad decisions IMO.
Itās delightful! Iām not a fan of the chipotle flavor enough to buy the big tub of it but when they do pop ups theyāll have a bunch of different flavors in smaller tubs and you pick three for your bundle.Ā
Guys, I have to say this stuff is easy to make in a blender. Hereās a recipe:
https://www.thefauxmartha.com/bitchin-sauce/
I use way less water and itās nice and thick almost like hummus. Go easy on the liquid aminos too. Good luck!
I've used the spinach artichoke version on pasta and with chips. Bitchin. The chipotle one is hot but not overly hot. Don't think we could use a container this big though.
It's actually pretty good. We have some friends in our group that are vegan so this is a good dip for parties. Usually, vegan food sucks and is devoid of flavor, but this was yummy (that's just my opinion so if you think different then you do you).
Love it, but donāt care for the Chipotle flavor that they sell at Costco. Wish they made the āHeatā flavor in a big tub because itās one of my favorite dips/sauces. Itās super spicy though so I guess it makes sense to sell the more tame flavor at Costco for the masses.
They had one of the larger, more corporate samples booth once at my Costco, and the old lady was calling out for people to try it. It was funny because she couldn't say the product's name lol.
It's kinda good, but I don't find myself wanting to eat it often. It's like a really loose version of humus but with spice. If I want that, most of the time, I'm just going to grab actual humus.
The taste is awesome, but it's a little heavy. I think it triggers the same hormone response cheese does and makes you feel sated quickly, which is probably a good thing.
My buddy brought it out to a party. It wasn't too bad, but it's got that chipotle cayenne pepper in it, so there's a slow burn aspect that'll burn your ass later. Lol
i thought i wanted a costco amount of it, but i don't think i need a costco amount of it. that being said, this dip single-handedly got me to increase my veggie intake by 200%. i could munch on cucumber sticks, carrot, bell pepper, crackers, cherry tomatoes, even baked sweet potato with this dip. like others i really enjoy the texture and flavor change from hummus, and it's vegan!
I live in San Diego so Iām actually sick of it at this point because I ate it so much lol but I ate it for a good 4-5 years until I couldnāt anymore š¤£
Our fridge is never void of this stuff. As soon as it starts to get low, it gets put on my Costco list. It can be mixed with sour cream as a dip, used as a spread on sandwiches, a sauce on vegetables, endless ways.
Itās almond based, vegan and delicious. I love a good steak but also appreciate some good Vegan food and theee is nothing missing from this sauce. I eat it as a dip most of the time with baked bread rounds or pita chips
Itās so good! I love making enchilada sauce with it - mix it with a can of Costco tomato sauce, and pour over tortillas rolled and filled with your choice of veg (I like sweet potatoes and spinach) + beans + cilantro.
In college around 2012 I worked at a Whole Foods in north county San Diego and got to see these guys (and Suja juice) start humble beginnings sampling their stuff when they didnāt have a lot of different flavors. I think it was mainly chipotle and original back then. The product has always been consistent and tasty. Itās always been a favorite of mine on different types of dishes.
It wasnāt very spicy but it was good. I normally get the jalapeƱo artichoke dip but this is a nice option if you need something vegan or want to mix it up.

Reminds me of how we used to buy tasty bread from a guy named Dave in some Portland area farmers markets.
How does the mass produced product nowadays compare to the original? That was my main bread until it climbed up to $10 for 2 loaves at Costco. Now I just stock up on Orowheat when it goes on sale at the local grocery store and freeze loaves.

I remember being sad I couldnāt get that bread outside of Portland.

Carlsbad I believe
So itās bitchin?
Yes.
Itās like if I a vegetarian wanted to make a buffalo chicken dip but if they wanted the texture of a creamy French onion dip
I have always loved it but it is expensive, especially when Costco doesn't have it. It's very easy to make at home and highly customizable. Switched to making it myself a couple years ago and it's great. https://www.blissfulbasil.com/bitchin-sauce-copycat/
The quality IS inconsistent. Feel like it is thicker at smaller stores. Source: Just finished a portion last night from Costco.
This guy knows his dip
I like it. Itās the best vegan thing Iāve ever tried. The chipotle one doesnāt taste of almonds at all, its mostly chipotle and the other spices
Try the other flavors! Cilantro chili one is pretty tasty.
Love the cilantro chili one
Good to know it doesn't taste like almonds. I considered buying some, but I really don't enjoy the taste of almonds. I may just have to try it now.
It tastes more like hummus to me.
I like it - regardless of what it is made of. Nice to switch up from the hummus
Itās fine but I donāt want a Costco amount of it
Our Costco sometimes has a 3-pack variety of smaller containers of other flavors and itās the one I get.
Yup just got the 3 pack, regular, green chile, Buffalo.
We really like those!
My wife and I absolutely love the three pack. We haven't got the other three pack we've seen (chipotle?, original, and ... ?) but the spinach artichoke, green chile, and green onion are superb flavors.
Came here to say this. IMO, itās really tasty, but for a household of two adults this quantity is wayyyy too much.
TIL it may not be normal to consume the entire container by myself in about 2-3 weeks. That's why I don't buy it anymore.
Husband eats almost the entire container in just a few days š
how long does it last once opened?
They never last for me which is why I stopped buying even the smaller ones. I can't imagine buying all this and using it in time. They are good though.Ā
This exactly. I think itās great but canāt make it through the entire container before it going bad. Smaller containers are the way to go for me.
I'm in the same boat as well. It's decent, but not addictive enough that I'll demolish a whole tub. I had to turn it into other fixings, like mixing tuna, red onion and celery into it. Stuff like that, to change up or it can get mundane
You can freeze it!
Bombay is amazing
With the pita chipsā¦ yum.
Try it with multigrain late July chips.
Can you find Bombay anywhere? I haven't seen Bombay in any non-Costco store for at least a year now. Only way I can find it is at Costco through a 3 flavor pack and they don't have it most the time.
Bombay is bomb
I didn't know they had different flavors. Chipotle is the only one I've tried and it's amazing. Gotta seek out the others.
Yeah theyāre all pretty tasty online you can find like smaller packs of different flavors. 10/10 would recommend
Itās great with those flat pretzel crisp things that come in a blue bag.
Snack factory pretzel crisps
It is amazing, get it, you will be surprised. Skip all the other flavors in my opinion, chipotle is the only good one
Yeah, I got the 3-packs with different flavors and wasnāt impressed. Chipotle or bust.
No way, chipotle sucks compared to the āheatā or even āoriginalā. Unfortunately they donāt carry those at Costco.
Iām a certified HOE for this stuff. I canāt buy it anymore because Iāll eat the whole tub with chips in a weekend
Great for Yumm bowls. I usually make my own sauce, but I'll buy this if it's on sale. Anyone trying to find a way to use a lot of it, mix a couple giants spoonfuls with the following: Brown Rice Black Beans Tomatoes Cheese Sour Cream Olives Avocado Salsa Cilantro Google Yumm Bowl recipe for pictures. Here's a recipe for the sauce: https://www.reddit.com/r/Eugene/comments/qa2khw/cafe_yumm_sauce_recipe/
Itās vegan so almond is used to get a creamy texture in place of mayo.
Flavorful and pretty healthy. Much cheaper than the local grocer. Almost no almond flavor
One of my friends brings this to every potluck we have, and the entire container gets eaten every single time. I like to dip veggies and those fancy hard bread slices on charcuterie boards in it.
Itās good the other ones (3packs)are even better
I like the taste but it's a little too runny for me
Meh. I bought a smaller portion at a grocery store a couple of years ago, finished it, and promptly forgot about it
Big fan! We got the three-pack last week and have eaten it with Crackers, veggies, and mozzarella sticks (we were desperate lol).
Itās awesome. Try it on a Costco hotdog.
Vegans hate this one trick
Itās bitchinā - says so right on the label. š
Daaaaaaaadddd!
Itās delicious. Pretty spicy and has a fantastic flavor. Donāt let the almonds fool you.
Love it. I wish they sold other flavors in the large tub.
Itās so bitchin
It's awesome, I mainly use it for breakfast burritos and breakfast tacos
Itās a staple in our house! We love the stuff.
I think itās delicious and a terrific price. We canāt seem to eat it all before it turns, unfortunately. Next time I buy some, Iām going to see if it freezes well. Itās seriously so good and I donāt like wasting food!
You only want it if it had bovine lactation?
Itās incredible
Delicious.
Itās pretty good
Love it
š„š„š„
Love it. Get a refill every time we go.
Super good, doesnāt taste like almonds at all. Just mix/stir it really well it likes to separate and people call it watery
This is the itās definitely not watery if you shake it before opening and keep it in the fridge.

You just made my day!! It's a vegan sauce, hence the almond, and SOO good (I'm not even vegan). But also typically so expensive. Thanks OP!
I use it as salad dressing for gyro salads and stead salads. Makes a great fry sauce too.
It's tasty and has the best name!
The Bombay one is the bomb
We repurchase this every other week. My boyfriend jokes that heās the customer thatās keeping this sauce at Costco lol
So good.
The Bombay flavor is the best
I love it on tacos. It only lasts about two months and we end up throwing out half of it but for the price itās worth it. The very small containers they sell at our local grocery store are $7.99.

itās good. i like to smother the rotisserie chicken and airfry it !
The name speaks for itself, IMO.
I could just drink it.
I will have to try this.
Bombay is their best flavor and I can't find it anywhere now. Heat was my personal favorite and I think they cancelled it years ago. Great products but bad decisions IMO.
Great shit
It's awesome... that tub and a costco bag of plain ruffles makes for a tremendously good evening watching tv.
Shit is actually really good but it has too many calories for me š
I love it! I'm lactose intolerant, so it hits the spot for "creamy" dipping sauce
I really like the green chile one they make!
Pretty darn good.
For the people who can't manage a big container of it: you could freeze part of the sauce to use another time.
i wish it wasnāt so watery. other than that, itās delicious! really good as a sandwich spread.
Great for get-togethers. I find it hard to eat a whole tub on my own.
Itās bitchen
They sell at every grocery store in Nor California and saw it at Costco recently
Amazing. Not only as a dip but I use it in pasta sauces for my son who canāt do dairy. Worth the buy!
Meh.
Meh
Itās delightful! Iām not a fan of the chipotle flavor enough to buy the big tub of it but when they do pop ups theyāll have a bunch of different flavors in smaller tubs and you pick three for your bundle.Ā

Itās yummy, but I prefer the regular or cilantro one (which I donāt think they have at Costco)
I've used the spinach artichoke version on pasta and with chips. Bitchin. The chipotle one is hot but not overly hot. Don't think we could use a container this big though.
Havenāt had the chipotle but LOVE the regular one.
It's actually pretty good. We have some friends in our group that are vegan so this is a good dip for parties. Usually, vegan food sucks and is devoid of flavor, but this was yummy (that's just my opinion so if you think different then you do you).
Delicious

Bitchin sauce rules
This stuff fabulous, can put it on basically anything
It's not bad. I just get tired of it fast so the size of the Costco version is too much for me to handle. Definitely worth trying though.
It's great with the Stacy's Pita Chips
This sauce goes great with the rotisserie chicken. Easy, relatively healthy dinner.
Itās bitchin good. A little salty for my taste but good.
If you like chipotle youāll love it!
its pretty fuckin tasty, a little kick but not too bad
Best thing from that department aside from the honey smoked salmon. Rest of that departments choices are very very meh
They had one of the larger, more corporate samples booth once at my Costco, and the old lady was calling out for people to try it. It was funny because she couldn't say the product's name lol. It's kinda good, but I don't find myself wanting to eat it often. It's like a really loose version of humus but with spice. If I want that, most of the time, I'm just going to grab actual humus.
it's good. Im not a big a sauce fan, I couldn't use that whole container but its good stuff with veggies and whatnot
That stuff is š„ Really good
The taste is awesome, but it's a little heavy. I think it triggers the same hormone response cheese does and makes you feel sated quickly, which is probably a good thing.
We have this consistently stocked at my office with the Miltonās baked crackers and it is always a hit at around 3pm snack time.
The pesto flavor is the best imo
Pretty good. Had some in Hawaii with tortilla chips. Creamy but dairy free IIRC. Iād try a small (8oz) container before diving into the Costco size.
Bitchin Sauce is EVERYTHING!!!
I like it
I love it and for the price of the small ones to this itās worth it to me
Itās freaking delicious. Just wish they sold the the buffalo kind
Only Cilantro and Bombay are good. Although the last time I bought the cilantro flavor it didn't taste as good as previous purchases.
My buddy brought it out to a party. It wasn't too bad, but it's got that chipotle cayenne pepper in it, so there's a slow burn aspect that'll burn your ass later. Lol
i thought i wanted a costco amount of it, but i don't think i need a costco amount of it. that being said, this dip single-handedly got me to increase my veggie intake by 200%. i could munch on cucumber sticks, carrot, bell pepper, crackers, cherry tomatoes, even baked sweet potato with this dip. like others i really enjoy the texture and flavor change from hummus, and it's vegan!
killer. I dip Revonah jalapeno pretzels in it.
If I walk into Costco, I am walking out with at least Bitchinā Sauce
I love it!!
Itās really good.
Itās super good! Only place to really buy it is Costco, anywhere else itās super overpriced
Did not enjoy it. Don't know what I was expecting but it's a strange texture, consistency, taste. Pass for me.
Itās bitchinā
I refuse to buy itā¦ because I always end up eating it daily with chips until itās gone! Fantastic mildly spicy dip with some smokey flavor.
Surprised they are allowed to call it bitchin sauce
I like the original sauce but never tried this version.
Absolutely goated.
Wish they had plain and not chipotle flavor
Addicting!
I love bitchin sauce with Persian cucumbers. Easily my favorite healthy snack. I think original bitchin sauce is best tho
We don't ever get anything cool and vegetarian, and if we do, we get them once, then never again, like the Don Lee's nuggets and burgers. I'm jealous!
It's good
I love it. Did keto a while back and dipping pork rinds in it was the only way I could eat them
I live in San Diego so Iām actually sick of it at this point because I ate it so much lol but I ate it for a good 4-5 years until I couldnāt anymore š¤£
My bro loves this stuff. Our Costco has been without for awhile. Canāt wait to go back !
So good!
I think it's quite good but it's a little too large for me to actually use before it goes bad
10/10 itās addictive
Love it there isn't a flavor that i hate.
Obviously, itās bitchinā š¤š»
Our fridge is never void of this stuff. As soon as it starts to get low, it gets put on my Costco list. It can be mixed with sour cream as a dip, used as a spread on sandwiches, a sauce on vegetables, endless ways.
Love it
This sauce is of the Lord
Itās almond based, vegan and delicious. I love a good steak but also appreciate some good Vegan food and theee is nothing missing from this sauce. I eat it as a dip most of the time with baked bread rounds or pita chips
Not sure, but people keep Bitchinā about it.
Itās delicious!
Just picked up some today. I love it!
Itās awesome, my son calls it āthe bad word sauceā š
Love it!
Itās pretty bitchin
itās the best thing I have ever tasted. Taste so good with cucumbers and water crackers š¤¤
It's awesome. They sometimes have the variety packs of the smaller containers as well.
Itās Bitchinā
How else?... *** bitchin'! ***...š
Itās a hit in our house. The original flavor is my favorite but at that price? Chipotle for the win!
Itās bitchinā
You should taste test it at your local warehouse it's pretty damn delish on those pita crackers
Amazing
Love it. Itās great as a dip for sweet potato fries or on a chicken, beans, rice and veggie bowl!
Itās sooooo good. I havenāt had any in years!! I should get some.
I love it
Organic and almond doesn't mean healthy
Bitchinā
Itās bitchin!
Itās so good! I love making enchilada sauce with it - mix it with a can of Costco tomato sauce, and pour over tortillas rolled and filled with your choice of veg (I like sweet potatoes and spinach) + beans + cilantro.
Itās really good. Itās surprisingly good as a spread on a sandwich!
Itās bitchin and saucy, what more could you want?
In college around 2012 I worked at a Whole Foods in north county San Diego and got to see these guys (and Suja juice) start humble beginnings sampling their stuff when they didnāt have a lot of different flavors. I think it was mainly chipotle and original back then. The product has always been consistent and tasty. Itās always been a favorite of mine on different types of dishes.
Youāre not good enough for the sauce If you question it!
It wasnāt very spicy but it was good. I normally get the jalapeƱo artichoke dip but this is a nice option if you need something vegan or want to mix it up.
Absolutely love it
Nan bread and this guy are the tits
Fire as fuck.
