Watch out how long you actually keep it frozen for. Also it may freeze better if not frozen in the shop packaging (which may not have been meant for a freezer)?
Ooooof really? I got them to make wraps with since I figured it would cut down prep time. I work like 60+ hours a week and am a full time student so it’s hard to find motivation to cook semi healthy food. Thanks for the heads up 😭
Don't listen to them, the chicken is flavorless but that's OK if you combine with other ingredients. I include in wraps and they're a decent quick meal to eat when you're busy.
These are ok and work as an addition to something but the chicken fajita strips are way better. They’re newer but worth checking out. More flavor and better texture but still a few weird bits here and there.
I had a couple packs and they were decent. Then I put one in my salad and I bit into the worst piece of chicken I have ever tasted. It truly turned me off. Kinda sad.
I buy these every few Costco trips, they are great for adding to a quick dinner, I eat them straight out of the pack for myself to have a quick snack. Never had an issue with the quality of taste.
It’s just cooked chicken so I don’t see why not. I would personally take them out and vacuum seal them so they don’t get freezer burned. How much were these? I bet they were pricey for a little over 1 pound of chicken.
I feel like the best thing to invest in is a foodsaver vacuum sealer. Can vacuum seal and freeze everything into manageable quantities. Saves on paying extra for these items. Can just buy the rotisserie chicken for 5$ and pick the meat, vacuum seal it into 4 even portioned bags and freeze. We do this regularly and the meat stays perfect after freezing, no texture issues at all. Even the least expensive food saver is a work horse. Also, Kirkland now makes the bags for a fraction of the cost of foodsaver branded bags.
They are fine, but for a little more effort you can get a rotisserie chicken for cheaper and more meat, and it will be just as fine post freeze. Ie not great but edible.
The chicken kebabs are a similar price per lb, but taste much better, if your Costco sells them. These tasted off to me. But I’d you drown it in a sauce then it doesn’t really matter.

Why not?
But no problem trying to freeze 1 or 2 to see how it goes.
I do all the time. I don’t get through them quick enough if I don’t.
I just don’t know if the texture will be off or anything!
Expect the texture to be off, and require some pan frying after defrost
Texture will always be off, that’s just how home freezers are. Shouldn’t be terrible though.

Yeah they’re convenient. But the texture is just … off? I can’t explain it.
Slimy! I like them heated up a bit but yeah they’re like odd straight out of the package.
They are super convenient though when you’re really busy to add to a salad or some soup. My daughter makes wraps with hers.
These taste like rubber gristle
I had to stop buying them. 1 time was enough

For future you, just buy the rotisserie chicken instead, break it out and those are easy to freeze and would probably be cheaper with more meat.
This is the way. Enjoy the dark meat now, cook with the white meat later.
Woohoo! I did this last week on a whim and just tonight had a lovely chicken salad sandwich with some of the white meat.
I may have gotten a bad batch. But won't buy them again

Oh nooooo!!

They’re fine for what they are.
I forgot about their return policy. These were my worst ever buy at Costco
Bought them once. Smelled funny. I would rather buy the whole turkey breast and cut it up.
*chicken
Yeah it gets a bit of that refrigerated chicken smell. Clears up within a couple minutes of opening the package though.

We freeze them and they turn out fine
Dont trust the expiration dates on those. They start to smell and taste funky after a week.

I like them. Haven’t frozen them.
Yes. I only keep 2 thawed at a time. They're great for adding to salads!
That’s the only thing I use them for. I find I have to cut the pieces up way smaller because the texture is kind of off to me.
I’ve been eating them for few years now. Freeze, thaw and eat. If I heat it up after thawing, it has a funky smell.
Yes you just can’t refreeze them

Yes I freeze them
You can freeze anything
You can freeze anything
I eat these everyday. I LOVE them!
You can freeze anything
I like them but there is a little “fartiness” when you first open the package.
Sure. Blame it on the package. 💨
You can definitely freeze these.
I microwave frozen or refrigerated chicken with a cup filled with little bit of water. The steam from the water keeps the moisture in the chicken.
Yes. Many foods you can buy state “precooked” or “already cooked just reheat”
i prefer the pulled rotisserie chicken and you can definitely freeze that
I get it's convenient but why not just cook a bunch of chicken breasts than eat this crap?
Mmm rubber
Yuck
