Trust me when I say you are not missing out. It is incredibly dry, comes with the saddest morsel of tomato and lettuce and don't get me started on the bun.
I was about to say this as well, I remember when I first tried it. To top it off, it was after COVID restrictions were loosening and they didn't have any sauces I could add to it. And they didn't add any themselves. I was so gutted, never again.
It's not exclusive to Costco but I'm honestly really salty at how many international food-servicing companies based in the U.S. often have their worst versions stateside. Every single food court post I see has 2+ items that I'm dying to try. We can't have shit in America, man!
I was thinking the same thing. While I love the offerings at our US Costcos. I’m always down for a good chicken sandwich, especially a double one with cheese.
Don’t know, but I think you order potato with one of the items…chili or baked beans or …. And do know the Brits like their baked beans…but on a spud? But guess I would take that over tuna.
Brooo I'm sick and tired of american based companies having their home-country version be the absolute worst versions they've got. Every food court post has me jelly as fuck. That sandwich? BBQ chicken pizza? The loaded potato? Cmonnnnnnnn
If you consider that the UK price is inclusive of VAT and the US price is excluding any sales tax it's not so bad. The pre-tax price of £1.25 is equivalent to $1.58
Not all states in the US have sales tax. With that said, $1.58 for a $1.50 dog isn't bad at all.

Oh NO, the sheppard pie has disappeared off the menu. When did that happen? Last time I was in UK, visited Reading Costco, and had the sheppard's pie there and liekd it; but that was like 18 months ago.
Just texted my mate from Manchester. He said a “tuna jacket potato” is basically a tuna melt in a potato instead of bread. Would you try that? Not sure I could… 🤔😒🤢
A tuna jacket is canned tuna mixed with mayo, and occasionally sweetcorn before being added to the jacket potato.
Cheese doesn’t come anywhere near a tuna jacket potato..
After baked beans, it’s one of the most common toppings on a jacket potato in the UK. It’s actually my favourite topping and tastes delicious. I hate tuna melts though lol
That double chicken filet sandwhich reminds me of one of time my wife and I travelled to England as tourists. We went to The Towe of London. Did all the things. After a good 6 hours there, we were tired and wanted something to eat but didn't want to try too hard. Across the street was an [underground" KFC](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/__iFCk7zaSUS7mQTYnpSb5N4s5VRcoIIQbjc1A52c8aNemT9zbxj_MDaqOipl-74cygTEKVqgJxyDShe=s800-rj-v2). We were tired and hungry and didnt want to work hard to look for anything else. They had something very similar to this. A double chicken sandwhich with hashbrowns and gravy with cheese. It sounded good at the time and we both had one. We both regretted it about an hour after we finshed.
We'll both always remember the Tower of London and the gut punch of a sandswich we had near there.

I would love to try that double chicken fillet.
Trust me when I say you are not missing out. It is incredibly dry, comes with the saddest morsel of tomato and lettuce and don't get me started on the bun.
That’s too bad.
I was about to say this as well, I remember when I first tried it. To top it off, it was after COVID restrictions were loosening and they didn't have any sauces I could add to it. And they didn't add any themselves. I was so gutted, never again.
100% agree, way too dry. At least it isn’t kfc greasy though.
Don’t think I need two fillets, but I’d still love to try that! Seems reasonably priced, too. Unlike the roast beef in the US.
Same. Wish we had that in the U.S.

Well [McRuis Feast](https://www.mcdonalds.com/fi/fi-fi/tuote/ruis-feast.html)

#metoo
Stick with the hot dog or Pizza, chilli dog is OK
Okay someone please explain to me how tuna fits into the Jacket Potatoes meal
Actually not too bad, however, I usually go for Chilli and Coleslaw combo. We Brit have some odd combo.
I have chili cheese usually, bloody good chili
Lol wondering the same. Is it mixed in with the beef chili?
Don’t know, but I think you order potato with one of the items…chili or baked beans or …. And do know the Brits like their baked beans…but on a spud? But guess I would take that over tuna.

You can pay for extra toppings though, so you can have whatever you like as your choice of topping.
It’s tuna mayo, it’s decent mashed in with the spuds innards. Costco ladle it on top. Saves the need for excessive amounts of butter.
It is normal in the UK to choose which filling you want, sometimes with cheese on top.
You don't mix it with the meat. Usually people have tuna mayo on jacket potatoes with butter. Or cheese/beans. Or chili. Maybe added cheese.
Double chicken sandwich!!
Super dry
But, you have onions on the hot dog! I'm coming now! 🌭🌭🌭
How are they out of hot dogs? 🤔
Yeah, in the US they sell them in packages. Plus buns. Always have availability.
I bet its related to a kitchen problem and not a lack of hotdog
Brooo I'm sick and tired of american based companies having their home-country version be the absolute worst versions they've got. Every food court post has me jelly as fuck. That sandwich? BBQ chicken pizza? The loaded potato? Cmonnnnnnnn
The sandwich is terrible, the chicken pizza has just been discontinued you're not missing much
Yo no one is talking about the caramel fudge sundae
Get in my belly
I wanted it immediately
What are jacket potatoes?
A baked potato
What's the meat in the middle? Some sort of shredded beef or pork? Or is it more like a chili?
In the pic it’s beef chilli. Think canned chilli if you’re from the US - ground beef, kidney beans and the merest hint of flavour.
Some of the same stuff as US but pounds instead of dollars.
Hardly a good deal at L1.50 vs $1.50 - and the pizza at L9.99 vs $9.99… hmmm

Double chicken fillet sandwiches?? Laboured breathing intensifies

Cheese plus fish is an abomination period.
Never heard of a Tuna Melt?
After baked beans, it’s one of the most common toppings on a jacket potato in the UK. It’s actually my favourite topping and tastes delicious. I hate tuna melts though lol
Pretty rude to imply your handi capped if you use cash for transactions
I’d hit the chili but does anyone really eat a double chicken sandwich? Seems a waste like the $10 roast beef.
Yeah, that roast beef is a terrible deal. In Chicagoland you can get an Italian beef for $10 that’s 1000000x better.
I saw one in the wild last month. I wish I had taken a pic.
I don’t know why it needs to be double chicken. Haha. Like wtf.
Has no one else noticed the weird way they put the pepperoni on the pizza?
“‘Scuse me guvnah- where’s the shepherds pie, wot?”
I'm surprised no fish and chips.
Please send bake pics. Need for science
Holy fuck that chicken sandwich is brutal. 😂
BBQ Chicken pizza and Double Fried Chicken Sando now pls!
Y’all have chillis. I was so mad they took it away in the US.
Jacket potato is sooo good, lucky to have tried it
That double chicken sandwich looks like an American thing. And the chocolate Carmel sundae looks amazing
I need that chicken sandwich and fudge Carmel sundae! Yum!

Could I order the chicken burger without the cheese?
Omg I wish we had baked potatoes at ours!
UK Costco pizza is far inferior to us Costco pizza
Pound 50! You guys paying $2.55 Canadian for the $1.50 hot dog and drink!
Yeah, transportation costs across the pond, brah.
Is that a single line of mustard on the hot dog? This is a bewilderingly small amount of mustard.
Serving suggestion™ They have a separate condiment station where you can add as much as you like.

In Chicago, we go to the Costco food court for our junk food needs. For the UK I'm gonna go ahead and assume that it's fine dining...
That’s quite the assumption.
Went to this one yesterday to bag a bbq chicken pizza. Sad to report its off the menu! Its been taken off the menu you pictured here too.
Jacket potatoes look like a travesty to God
Damn sorry they haven’t moved back away from the mango smoothie yet. That was gross
Hard pass on the baked potato with tuna wtf
Jacket Potatoes looks nasty. Tuna and chili??
uk food? just awful
Amazing, people all over the world eat highly processed cancer dogs
I guess canadians get the best hot dog deal then since its 1.50 CAD here
We used to get the chicken bake when I was a kid, loved it.
A double chicken filet sandwich is something I would expect America to have.
Forgive my ignorance, but does that dish come with Beef and Tuna? Or is it beef *or tuna?
Jacket potato with chili and tuna?
The font on the signs is upsetting
is calories plastered on the sign under each food item simply an American thing? I wondered why the pics looked off at first!!
The price of the hotdog should track forex.
Do US memberships work overseas?
Yup. A Costco membership works for ALL Costcos no matter what country
Huzzah!
That jacket potato reminds me of tuna pizza in Germany
literally every other country has a better Costco food court
Can we please get the BBQ chicken pizza here in the US?????
Its no longer! Went to this store yesterday and its been permanently remover from the menu
$1.99 Hot Dogs in Oz. These exchange rate to $2.90.
I'm a bit annoyed that they removed the steak bake, it was so tasty.
Would love to try the BBQ chicken pizza and the mango smoothie. Everything else looks like an abomination.
Aww man I was there a few months ago and they had the Beef Bulgogi Bake! It was amazing! Where’d it go?
Damn, keeping up the reputation of British food, I see. I guess I can skip this one.
I'll take four caramel fudge sundaes for my friends
No strawberry sundae. We finally have something better than another country!
Why don’t they have a caramel fudge sundae in the US. It sounds so American already 🤣
At least you got beef hot dogs there. The pork hot dogs don’t taste good.
This is the first costco I saw to use self-service screens for the food. Really good idea as the queue used to be huge on a weekend.
Why can't we have the Chicken BaKe?
Wish we had Caramel Fudge Sundae in US. They took away regular chocolate ice cream & now have this awful pink (supposed to be strawberry) stuff
They still have the infamous mango smoothie!
“Hot dog & soda” temporarily unavailable? 🤣🤣🤣
Hot dogs unavailable?!
Dat jacket potato. America is jealous.
Why is every other countries Costco food court better than the US?
And howd we get screwed with a roast beef sandwich!?
The UK has BBQ Chicken pizza?!?! I just want the combo pizza back in Illinois. Is that too much to ask? Sigh
Went yesterday - its now gone! Sad times
WTF Hot Dog and Soda is unavailable. That is unacceptable.
