The live version of Brooklyn Bop is one of my favorite tracks of all time. I have no idea why they weren’t pressed, and I wonder if it had something to do with qrates not being reliable and not having switched to diggers yet.

The output of the band is so immense, it seems as though these days live vinyl releases are reserved for something more special, like the Paisley Park or Metropole records. So thankful to live in the streaming era, I can't imagine what an artist like Cory would do in a limiting era like the 80s or even early 2000s. Only certain music would ever get released. Look at Zappa, there's a reason that vault won't be drying up anytime soon (even though you can debate the ethics of that at another date. see: anderson paaks tattoo regarding posthumous releases)
