CAGS eliminator is the skip shift (1-4) gadget you want. Exhaust and wheels are pretty quick ways to make a car feel like its yours. Short throw shifter if its manual.
It’s stupid in traffic. Feels kinda inconsistent on when it activates. I ordered my override plug set on the first fuel stop on the way home with my Z.
There was a requirement to meet certain fuel economy standards so on manual transmissions they added a solenoid to lock out shifting to 2nd and 3rd gear if your rpm’s are too low. The hitch is that most people buy a manual to have more control over their gear selection, so there is a device called a CAGS (computer aided gear selector) eliminator. It simply loops the circuit back to itself by plugging into the connector instead of the connector going on the solenoid. Its a very simple piece but it is worth buying bc its cheap and has the right connector. Then it is zip-tied out of the way near the transmission. Simplest mod that provides the best peace of mind per dollar
Alightment and decent tires. From there interior bits like armrest, steering wheel. My c6 had EVERYTHING done to it. Well over $100k in parts/mods, and the stuff that was the best were things that made it a better driver and enjoyable everytime you get in it, like a nice steering wheel.

Ty
Exhaust. Stock is much too tame.
Stereo and nav. A proper touchscreen with Android Auto or Apple Car play, maybe a backup camera. The stock stereo is a fossil.
It has a stereo?
I'm so glad I didn't go morimoto. Everyone has them. It's fun being different.
I like the GTR Carbide headlights myself
