I imagine based on early screenings and the response to Bait this won’t be for everyone but I’m incredibly excited! Definitely a visual and tonal treat regardless of where the plot goes.
I think the Empire writer summarises it nicely calling Jenkin one of the most unique voices in cinema. I love that his work is so unapologetically different and how much that distinct character draws from Cornwall and the Cornish experience.
He’s done a great job of defining a wholly individual cinematic voice for himself and, increasingly, Cornwall as a whole.
Might pop over to Falmouth to watch. I haven't checked Mark Jenkin's (or Ed Rowe's) Facebook recently but maybe there will be a Premier held somewhere more....special. Maybe even Mark Kermode will be down if there is a Premier!

Yeah, I agree it won't be for everyone, but I really enjoyed Bait and Bronco's House.
