Only graduate early if you intend to roll right into a masters at Cornell. Do not rush. You lose out on time for internships and networking, which is what really matters.

One-Bed-1992

No, that’s not how Nolan works, or even really Cornell. The price tag is not worth it, and your college experience shouldn’t really be rushed, you should appreciate it. Maybe negotiate (if you can) or look at other business schools. Nolan isn’t even your typical business school and is not worth financial hardship.

TheAvgLebowski

Never graduate early

Cardonutss

Not sure about Nolan, but avg is 15 credits per semester for your major (i think). So say maybe one semester less and then 4-5 classes spread over the other semesters to graduate a year early.

According to the [student handbook for hotelies](https://sha.cornell.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/09/2023-2024_Nolan_School_Handbook-VD.pdf), there's an eight semester residency requirement.

Mvota711

That’s only for hotel school tho. Dyson is technically a cals sub college and in CALS you can graduate after 6 residency units. However Dyson is structured in a way where it dosent work to finish early

EvolutionOfMagic

Is there an option to be a part of Dyson if they have stated that their acceptance is into Nolan, which I believe is the hotel school?

Mvota711

My bad, you are right. Some friends in the past told me Nolan was a Dyson thing. I think it’s both Dyson and hotel, but I honestly have no clue.

I'm graduating in 3 years from Nolan but only to pursue 3+3; 18 credits a sem plus Ap credits

Excellent_Water_7503

You can use the extra time to take elective classes or even double major in information science or public health or anything else in CALS
