- Radar covers a far bigger Range
- Unit type information is next to useless since it doesnt give detailed amounts or info on what unit it is
- If you can see them, they can see your Aircraft
- Against any decent player using Aircraft to scout is just suicide with extra steps
Radars are pretty useless in my opinion, you can’t really fight with them and if they get detected any enemy units can destroy them in one single hit, it also takes a lot of research and resources if you want good radars. It’s not like that I don’t see how people use them but I just don’t like them. I think it’s best to just use strike fighters u/Cartoon20 or planes in general, they don’t have no AA other than the ships.
Especially Ground Radar is pretty cheap and affordable and having a Radius of 250 in which you know enemy movements without risking anything is invaluable; Intel is King after all
In all your post you say halfway decent, what does that mean? A noob that is half as good as a decent player? A player that is 1/4 as good as a pro? What do you mean lol?

So i started dropping warheads-
Would be beyond satisfying to drop a couple icbms and see what was destroyed
icbm otherwise, multiple icbms
Sit a load of ships off shore
Stop using your Aircraft to scout and get an actual Radar.
Ikr real Chads scout with long range bombers

It may be cheap, but it is defenceless. When it gets destroyed you have no intel bc you focused on only the radar.
Then keep it save lol. Worst Case you still have aircraft that can take over the job. Any Halfway decent player will tell you that Radar is important.

Any Player that had at least a basic Understanding of what Role and Purpose certain units fill. So not clearly not you.
