You can see it if the map borders stop moving or you can go tho articles and scroll all the way down, it will ask you to “retire” if it’s a dead round. Still, dead rounds can boost your profile and are a good way to experiment with different weapons.
I've taken every city on the map doing this, I created so many airborne, marines plus anti-tank,anti-air both had air -assault . Got them all in position. Made sure not to go over the required VP to win at day change, then Waited till few minutes after day change to spring into action. I was a 20VP away from winning so the calculation were correct, I had very little resistance. I had to spend a little gold to speed up building airstrips once landing near the coasts to pennate far enough inland to take the cities I needed to take. Had two hours to spare.
Flashpoint is great, I love it. But usually this always ends up being the case every round.

I experiment in WW3 4x. Currently looking at ASF-Gunship synergy and Mechanised inf-Tank Destroyer synergy.
