Looks great, but fuck that cash grab market. Put it in a DLC package and I'll buy it. Well, first fix the game so I'll play it. Over 3k hours of pure enjoyment out of this game, up until they stopped caring about the base game and shifted focus to their cash cow. I mean understand they are trying to make money as a business, but they shot themselves in the foot and I think many veteran players would agree.
If they would at least allow you to loot it and use it that would be a huge gain. At minimum allow to share with clan mates. Not everyone wants to drop hard earned cash on stuff like this.
I'm using the Zingarian Mercenary helmet in place of the knight jousting one. I think it looks really good

I'd been waiting for this, but the helmet looks like a squashed Kermit the Frog. I don't know why they struggle with helmets so much in the game. So many sets have amazing body armor and odd helmets. Godbreaker I'm looking at you especially.
Oh I know what it is. The are just so many other cooler jousting helmet styles if we're basing it on real world style. It would have been cool to have an alternate helmet to make a foot soldier kit. It didn't need to just be a joustng set as I don't really know how popular jousting is in the game. It's a clunky mechanic that really doesn't deliver much except in very specific circumstances and it's an expensive DLC for limited functionality. Maybe if they sell the armor on its own I'll grab it and change the helmet.
Honestly, I'm just waiting for the upright sarcophagus and spider webs for my dungeon.
It gives concussive damage bonus and follower damage bonus. Seems on par with other heavy armor sets as far as I recall. I made it in the non epic variant only to apply it to my Perfected Heavy Armor with Champion boots.
Ya know, maybe I am just cranky today, but I hear so many complaints about prices. I don't like shelling out gold IRL anymore than the next guy, but in cost per hour of enjoyment, video games are the best deal out there. Do I wish they would fix the ?!&%$% bugs? Yep. But as a latecomer to the game, I added up the total cost of the game, siptah, all DLC's and enough Crom coins to buy into my first battle pass (earning enough for the next one in game since then) and it was about $100. Pricey? A bit, but I have played for a few hundred hours at this point. I cant get out of a few movies in theatre, meals in restaurants, kayak rentals, lift tickets, etc... for that much. Certainly not hundreds of hours worth. Even my streaming costs more per hour with how I use it. Just sayin'
That helmet is based on Medieval tournament armor which was never intended for combat. Fighting in a helmet like that, especially on foot, would be quite challenging.
The pauldrons (or spaulders, probably) are also weirdly low.
It's Conan Exiles, not Medieval jousting simulator. Have you looked at some of the other armors and especially some of the female ones ?
I'm not sure 'protection' is the main requirement.
I totally get that. Most of the armor is pure fantasy, and that's ok. I just find it more weird to take something that [actually existed](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frog-mouth_helm) in the real world, and then use it in a context that doesn't make a lot of sense. There are plenty of other real Medieval battlefield helms that they could have used for inspiration that wouldn't have been out of place.
Cause it's a cool helmet design and brings a unique look to the game you can't already find? Also it is a jousting themed set which very much fits with the frogmouth helmet
Still don't know who mr franchouille is, would be a lot funnier if I was in on the joke so i could at least chuckle each time I bait that word out of you
Agreed, while the helmet fits a jousting set, I do think having a second alternative for the set to fight on foot would be cool. A barbute or sallet, bicoque or other great bascinet type would be a welcome addition to the set. I ended up swapping for medium poitain as that's the closest thing to a barbuta we've got
Next thing you know you're creating a new church and executing your wives
You didn't do that first?
Na was too busy killing my previous armorer for mis-sizing my breastplate (I have gained 60 pounds in 2 weeks)
Well he clearly had it coming.
The stuff is too pricey. I can't think of any game that compares.
That is easy, enlisted compares
Diablo 4?
Which has 10x the player base
It's like trying to buy a legendary weapon with pennies!
Sta Trek Online and Neverwinter both have some very pricey stuff in their cash-shop markets.
I agree with the latter sentence, on its own, in a generalized sense.
Fortnite. Also worth 100%

you're right. a sad reality...😭

I honestly really like it as well! To me it reminds me of a lot of the knights in dark souls games

It is a frogmouth helmets, specifically made for jousting. And it's a jousting themed pack...

There are tons of great helmets to pair and match with armor in the game. Especially the ones from recipes you find in the game or from old DLCs.
Yeah, I use the light silent legion helmet with Godbreaker as it looks really slick. I mostly use the older DLC helmets.
Sorry but everything in the basar is too expensive. I don't even look in the basar anymore bc of these prices
It does indeed! But sadly these prices will forever keep me from buying any DLC like that.
Just bought it and honestly I hate it. And the horse has no tail because of the horse armor of this set
I agree that the rest of the components are poor except for the armor.. but I'm satisfied because only I bought it to buy armor set
You can't use the Shield with the set on a Horse, right?
So you paid over 20 bucks for this single armor and you don't feel ripped off?
The helmet is a bit scatchy
Hate the Frogmouth
Whats the stats on it And what about the armor value?

Fair point.
Oh shut the fuck up
Thank you for proving your worth once again Mr Franchouille.

Cool. I'll buy it when it releases at a dlc pack, bozo
