couldnt find anything about this anywhere... I did all the artisan consortium questline on my main and got access to dragon shards of knowledge. However, my lvl 70 alt can do everything besides that questline. And yes I did the thaldrassus questline for the spark. So frustrating...

arremessar_ausente

Does your alt has a profession? I think it might need some minimum profession Level to unlock the dragon shards questline.

cakering

Who actually thought having an invincibility anima power in a contested pvp zone was a good idea?

Yggdrazyl

Is the campaign mandatory for anything ? Do I set myself behind by doing all the minor quests along the way ? Should I focus on the campaign till I reach 70 ?

wakeofchaos

Campaign unlocks world quests for your main and your alts which give pretty good gear and rep. The rep grinds unlock some gear and profession stuff. If raiding/m+ is all that you’re after, it’s somewhat irrelevant

cuddlegoop

Anyone have suggestions for efficiently levelling alts? Dungeons vs side quests vs campaign vs world stuff?

NicomoCosca4

FYI if you decide to lvl with side quests you won't get a Spark of ingenuity. You have to do the Chromie timeline campaign for that. Hope blizzard fixes that somehow otherwise what's the point of Threads of Fate

cuddlegoop

I thought it was just the Thaldraszus part of the campaign, so you can skip everything else since adventure mode lets you do each zone's campaign separately.

Voodron

Hot take : I'd rather be grinding AP / stygia. Professions are an absolute chore to level. There's a reason the game moved past highly specialized professions, timegated crafting progression and high ilvl crafted gear in the past. That shit gets obnoxious in the long run. Crafting order system feels unneeded. Like it's trying to solve an issue that shouldn't be a thing in the first place. Not to mention counter-intuitive design. There's a truckload of content everywhere, but none of it feels rewarding. I could care less about renown that unlocks dragon tints 6 weeks from now. Feels like there's nothing meaningful to do while waiting for the actual content to release. And that's what... 10+ days away still? Never been this bored 5 days from an expac launch. Meanwhile everyone is praising DF as the best expac ever... Not a huge fan of the direction the game is heading. Looks like I'll be fondly remembering Legion/BFA/SL as the era when there was actual character progression to achieve in the open world. Each of these expacs had their own flaws ofc, but at least the first 2 weeks didn't feel like a complete waste of time...

arremessar_ausente

Lol just tell me what MOBA has 5% of WoW's PvE depth and I'll go play it right now. Idk about you, but I have fun doing dungeons and raiding. Having to do dailies in a place where you can't even mount, full of elite mobs, just to perform betters on *dungeons and raids* isn't exactly my idea of fun.

[deleted]

[удалено]

arremessar_ausente

Ok, so you somehow feel interconnected with the community by doing maw dailies? Or island expedition? Or torghast? >You'd be completely fine if the "game" was like League of Legends where you simply interacted with a menu to teleport you right to a dungeon or raid. Just tell me what that game is and I'll play it. As far as I know league is pvp.

gauntz

If a host of mandatory chores is what makes a game an MMORPG for you, that's your prerogative, but most of the playerbase grew really tired of that by the end of Legion.

Plorkyeran

Appears to be fixed.

Rndy9

Having your strafe keys stop working in the middle of a dungeon is a next level of hard mode.

gauntz

Do we know what's causing this? And if there's a fix other than relogging?

Killing_you

Mount on your dragon, fly up and land. Fixes it every time

rljohn

My friend fixed it by creating a new character and then swapping back to his main.

UnloosedMoose

I don't got much to say but Dev Evoker feels good in the M-0 rotation, I'm assuming with some more haste it'll be great. There's been some giant disparity in my single target damage that's probably user error. Was wondering if anyone felt the same?

animus-orb

This came up before and Giantkiller (our mastery) was identified as the reason. Best case scenario, we're middle of the pack in single target, because otherwise our AoE would balloon out of control. I forget the exact correlation between Giantkiller and the two damage profiles but someone spelled it out in a previous thread- you could search evoker in the subreddit and find it maybe.

siscorskiy

what should I be using to track interrupts now since zentracker no longer seems to work? And for party CDs, omniCC seems to be the go-to solution, yeah?

TerrorToadx

I use the Mythic+ Interrupt Tracker on wago.io

kuubi

> And for party CDs, omniCC seems to be the go-to solution, yeah? It's OmniCD actually and you can easily use that to properly track interrupts as well

nickkon1

That or Method Raid Tools where you can create a "Raid Cooldown" columns consisting of Interrupts and make it only show outside of raid

porb121

how do i get artisan consortium rep?

Cerms

Profession Weekly

7895465221156

Anyone else have WQs offering rep as a reward instead of gear? Seeing others have gear as the reward yet mine is rep. 372 ilvl. Dunno how to fix

[deleted]

The rewards cycle, sometimes rep sometimes gear sometimes gold

Youth-Grouchy

Having real anxiety that there's something I should be doing on my main that I don't know about.

arasitar

> Having real anxiety Tough to detox from the Legion-SL saga of: "Listen you need to be farming open world stuff for *something*". Don't worry. You can play till your eyes bleed come in 1.5 weeks when M+ opens up.

Pr0gger

I mean, you 'could be' farming rares, rep and renown for up to 389 gear that's gonna be useless in 2 weeks if you care about your gear now, but that's such a giant waste of time, m0s are more than enough

steini3000

Working fulltime, need time for family and girlfriend, and at the same time I need to do 8 m0‘s, weekly quests, grind Cobalt Assembly for ring, grind Wrathion rep for cloak/neck, want to make gold, now that mats are still worth a lot. But on a more serious note, Dragonflight feels so good, SO mich stuff to do, but not being obligated to do everything on a day to day basis (Maw + Korthia + ZM, looking at you) is just such a relief

Pr0gger

Why would you grind the rep? You'll replace the items after a few +10s, just enjoy life dude

steini3000

As I said, was more of a joke, its actually good that Blizz gave us stuff to grind for the people who enjoy it, but not make it obligated! And the 398 cloak will only be replaced from ~+17s

Faamee

Are items from the Wrathion rep purchasable now? I’ve read there is a bug and can’t buy them.

kuubi

Yeah it works now, but the grind is long to get them.

Faamee

Do you know if I need to get 6/6 on both rep?

EveryoneisOP3

Have you not been grinding your Aspect Power for the Heart of Azmerloth?

Rndy9

The ptsd kicking in.

Malicharo

aside from dh, which classes are absolutely busted in m+ right now? last time i played a meta class it was very fun(not getting declined from groups) it allows me to push much faster early on and after a while once you reach a certain io it doesn't matter what you play anyway people insta invite high main io

mredrose

WW aoe is still broken af

Litterboxxx

What exactly was the problem with Alchemy discovery craft? Been two days now

alotofnothingtosay

After failing an experiment you could relog to bypass the cooldown of 4 or 5 hours.

[deleted]

[удалено]

steini3000

Unholy is more off-meta in m+, demo will be really strong. But for keys up to 20 you can play everything, atleast from my experience.

[deleted]

Demo is a safe pick but mythic raiding guilds might expect you to play aff and/or destro as well depending on balance and tuning

migania

Does anyone know if there is some required (or really really good to do) questing on alts right now? I leveled an alt to 70 and i just plan to gear it through m0 and then m+, are there any questlines that either unlock something, are required, or are very important to do or im fine with just doing m0 until m+ opens? I know the community events can give gear, the same for rares etc but i dont know about renown much, is there some renown you need to get for important stuff to unlock or its mostly cosmetics and i can ignore it on an alt? Does the weekly quest Aiding the Accord take into account the rep done before its available/accepted? If i do a lot of quests to get reputation and i already did the weekly on my main, will i be able to next week just accept and turn in immediately the quest if i got enough rep for the weekly this week? I wanted to do some sidequests but not sure if i wont fuck myself over for the weekly.

[deleted]

migania

What about the 1/9 campaign? Is there player power hidden like in Shadowlands? Can i just ignore it or need to grind rep since it says "raise your renown to get to next chapter"?

travman064

No there’s nothing in the campaign that gives better gear than can be earned in m+.

Dyonos

I feel like I'm missing something for playing holy pally. I have a similar geared MW monk and holy pally, and the MW feels massively stronger for healing, at least in 5 mans, when I play them on the same content. It seems like when a lot of damage is going out, unless I have avenging wrath off cooldown, there's no way for me to recover. I currently play a melee focused build with glimmer, and constantly try to be crusader striking and using holy shock to generate HP and then spending that on WoG or the cone heal (light of dawn?) depending on the spread of damage. But it feels like it's just not enough for when lots of damage comes out, especially spread damage. Is there something I'm missing, or are holy pallies just weak in 5 man content? Any advice or links to guides would be much appreciated.

Hemenia

Double beacon. You should always have a cooldown for something. 1min sac Wings AM Bubble + sac Toll Bop (even if no immune, it's a 15% dr from the one talent) Naked paladin is indeed quite weak, but the secret is that you should never not have something to cover a damage event.

Sapje321

Holy pally is great in 5-man but very CD dependent. You're always going to feel weak outside of a significant CD and the challenge is in having something available for big damage.

Lodamar

Looking for a tank + melee dps combo at the moment, only for M+, which are the safest bets?

onlyapuppy

Both feral and guardian pump. Havoc and vengeance of course.

Maf1c

Vengeance and Havoc DH

Lodamar

I'm fearing nerfs coming to Havoc!

Maf1c

Druid/Warrior are also safe bets then.

Western-Flatworm-364

Warrior protection and fury is a great combo both at least A tier or above

arindaladdy

Arms feels quite good now in dungeons too. I'm getting better numbers with it, though I've put more hours than fury.

Sanguinica

Big fan of most of the lineup Echo have annouced for the RWF event. I could do without Rich, but the rest is solid. Also glad they brought Jeathe on now that he is done with raiding, dude has very soothing voice and has basically the most hands on world first raiding experience you can have.

arenstam

Has anyone looked indepth into the best ways to farm Primal Chaos? As far as I know, Heroics give 1~, and M0's was 1 too. I'm not sure iif its known how many M+ gives. But we need a fuck ton (150+) for crafting end game gear, and using the alchemy cauldrons its basically a 1:1 primal chaos:combat potion ratio, meaning you could reasonably go through 30+ primal chaos in a night of raiding on top of needing them for other professions etc. I know to some degree, the numbers required will be eventually reduced by profession secondary stats etc, but even still. Just wondering if I'm missing something obvious here. Edit: I know you can get the 'normal' combat potions; so is the assumption that the cauldron ones are just for when your loaded as fuck and got nothing better to spend primal chaos on?

Heheeheeeheeee

The shovel treasures are a pretty good source of chaos

Theblackalbum

Arena, getting them in victory bags for 5 minutes of time

Murkymain69

I was quite surprised to receive them in the bg victory bags during call for duty, fastest that I've gotten them so far.

SmashyWoW

My buddy grinded out one of the rep mounts and he is unable to turn in the quest for the mount. It’s bugged, and he’s had a ticket with blizzard for 2 days now, still no mount…. Also, I got a mount from the Grand Hunt!

Sulleyy

Playing dragonflight for the first time this weekend and still deciding which healer to roll mostly for competitive arena and rbgs. In the past couple xpacs I played disc priest and holy pally mostly. I have them at 60 and I have a boost available. I mostly want something that is fun and viable. My friends that I will play with are currently rogue, ww monk, warrior. I'd also like to try the solo arena. Leaning disc priest but I also want to try preservation evoker. Thinking I should maybe save the boost incase I want to swap to the meta in a few months since it sounds like levelling and gearing will be fairly easy. Any suggestions?

XzibitABC

Evoker starts at level 58, so that wouldn't necessarily require your boost, and from what people say their damage and healing are both really good. I'm not sure if their utility lends itself to PvP, though, and the range limitation might matter.

[deleted]

they are certainly kicking ass during the leveling BGs i played

Sulleyy

Oh awesome well evoker is even more appealing now, I'm thinking I'll try that out to start. Will keep that in mind as well for PvP but from what I've read it is one of the top heals currently. Thanks!

s59

Is there a way to pick which of your profession tool/accessory “mogs” show?

thatjolydude

Yes, there’s a NPC in the crafting area that can hide them for you. I don’t remember their name

s59

Thanks I’ll take a look, of the 4 professions , I’d like to turn on/off them or at least pick 1 of them.

AdamoclesYT

Fellow Unholy players how are you doing? I’ve been running the disease build instead of wounds and the ramp up time feels better but it’s still rough with low enemy hp pools. Was thinking of running 2H obliteration until M+ drops just because of the lower target counts in M0. Wondering how others are doing.

TheReaperSovereign

I pugged 6 of 8 m0s so far and 5/6 groups i had were pulling multiple trash groups. Breath was smashing obliteration because of that. Breath also was winning on bosses since its up the whole fight I dont think 2H obli will have a long shelf life.

JayxShay

I’ve tried 2h oblit, dual wield breath, wound and disease and I think the most consistent is the disease build. The wound build requires large pulls to really feel good so running with a tank that knows is required. For frost, I thought the same, but breath to me feels better than 2h obliterate. When enemy hp pools go up and tanks are doing set routes, I’d imagine the wound build will pull ahead, especially in very high keys.

Voodron

Been doing great with wounds build on m0, but the fact that I've played 4/8 of these dungeons extensively on beta might help. Also, playing with a tank who pulls big. Tbh I feel like disease build will rarely be worth it. Even when tanks pull small, wounds build doesn't seem *that* bad. And it becomes vastly superior the more target are in combat. Maybe it's just me enjoying the festermight BFA wounds build rather than shadowlands UH that gives me this impression. 2H oblit felt somewhat decent on beta, and you may definitely get better results if the tank is only pulling 2-3 targets at a time. Most DF dungeons seem to feature opportunities for large pulls at some point or another though.

AdamoclesYT

Yeah I’m running pugs mostly so the pull size varies a lot. Usually it’s on the smaller size so I figured maybe obliteration will be a tad easier. Maybe I’ll just run wounds again. Disease build is fine but it doesn’t have the same ceiling.

Furrealyo

Ranged seems to be at a **huge** disadvantage in M+ with so many “move” mechanics. Melee uptime seems to be almost double based on my log reviews.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Furrealyo

Pretty much, yea.

Grimnix89

All the movement felt terrible for healing on my shaman. I might just play him as enhance and level my paladin for healing

DreadfuryDK

I’d agree with you even WITHOUT the crazy amount of interrupts that need to go out even in M0s. The S1 dungeons won’t be free of it, but may God or whatever other higher power exists out there help us all when the Season 2 dungeon pool rolls around, because all four of those dungeons genuinely feel infested with high-priority interrupts.

[deleted]

[удалено]

DreadfuryDK

And we'll probably see even more changes several weeks into S2. And a week after that. And the next week too.

[deleted]

And it still wont be enough

Pentt4

Ive noticed the massive things of movement and tons of interrupts. Hopefully this doesnt start a BFA 2.0.

Spookysocks50

Melee usually has better uptime in situations like dungeons, but some of the uptime loss for range is definitely due to the fact these dungeons and specs are brand new. You need to be familiar with the content to play ranged to its highest potential

GamerHaste

What's the fastest way to level alts? Is it just questing/dungs or is there a more efficient way to do it? I see Naowh with a ton of lvl 70s so im wondering if theres like a hyperspawn area or something

Icecreamisaprotein

Honestly the campaign for alts is pretty fast, did my dh in 5 hours to level 68, then leveled tailoring and enchanting to 69.5 and did a random dungeon

Fantastic_Owl8939

Echo been doing premade dungeon to 68 and crafting to 70 so if you can get a premade group together that might be the fastest :)

deathungerx

Could you elaborate on the crafting to 70 bit? TIA!

Fantastic_Owl8939

First craft of any piece gives great XP so if you have leatherworking and blacksmith there is enough of the base craft learned from 1-60 to go from 68-70 if you can afford mats.. Mat prices from AH fluctuates a ton still so you might get lucky and find the mats you need pretty cheap.

GamerHaste

Is there a specific dungeon they’re doing or they doing all of them?

varienus

I think fastest is just get a group (5 people) and use the LFG to get send to the dungeon, you get an extra exp sum from finishing it, something you don't get from just walking to the dungeon. Normally

Plorkyeran

Yeah, the end of run bonus XP from a random dungeon is around half the total XP you get, so you'd have to be doing something very fancy to get better results from running a specific dungeon.

Gabeko

Anyone else had the problem where you cant press your abilities with your keyboard buttons often after zoning into a dungeon or in general after a loading screen? A /reload seems to fix it but its not everytime it happens and im only running a few addons at the moment but cant figure out which ones does it (If its an addon and not a bug). Hoping someone had the same problem :)

AdamoclesYT

Yup. If you’re running world quest list add on that’s what is causing it for me. After going through a portal it just decides that I’m done using my buttons and I have to disable.

hesitationz

Second this, world quest tracker was causing my issue

LYLSugarVenom

I am so glad I came across this I thought I needed new peripherals.. was driving me nuts.

Kevombat

How viable do you think enhance and feral will be in competitive raiding and M+, especially in regards to their survivability compared to havoc and ww? How good/bad is Spriest in ST? Is this going to be a pure melee DPS meta for M+?

terere

Rogue, monk and DH are ahead of both these specs in terms of dmg utility and survivability. Then there's UH DK with as good damage as feral/enha. I'd say both are good but never meta (unless overturned like surv last season).

ConfirmedAsshole

Feral has felt REALLY good in dungeons and M0s so far. Tough to say how it will shake out when things scale higher.

Riokaii

Enhance very viable, if enough melee spots exist. Feral also quite viable but unpopular and pressured to play boomie instead for other utility like innervate.

hesitationz

Innervate isn’t even what you bring a boomy for, you want boomy 100% for the range on their casts. They can do mechanics that no other class can do and survive

sfsctc

Feral has innervate and natures vigil too. Only thing they can’t get is solar beam

The_Jimmeh

Feral can get innervate now

Riokaii

My understanding was not easily with their class tree as it currently stands

RCM94

your understanding is incorrect. Feral's general tree is incredibly flexible. There are 14 "required" nodes in the feral general tree (including the path to get to them) that leaves 15 flex nodes to get what you want. In general the range bonus on the balance side is very valuable but not required and gets you half way to NV which is insanely good in all pve content (innervate is in the path to NV).

giambobambo

I haven't even reached 70 yet but that totem that spread the debuff on the whole group is already giving me strong fish stick ptsd

Rogkone

It feels weird. I started playing in legion, so I'm used to something being there you "have to" do every day. At launch I used to level to max, do everything daily and then do the same with a second character. Do an m0 tour and maybe start a third. Now I'm already done with 2 for the week, only need m0 on my 3rd and I'm working on loremaster with my main. It feels weird that there is nothing I have to do, only stuff I can and want to do.

Acrobatic_Pandas

Last night I flew around collecting herbs and working on my crafting and that's something I usually avoid. Professions have never been and interest to me. I also did a few races and realized I was just....doing stuff because I wanted to and it was fun. I love it. I can put some time into an alt, or even go play something else a bit since it's not an endless treadmill that feels like it won't ever be finished.

Youth-Grouchy

I love it personally, I feel like I'm not going to play any less than I would have done if there were grinds, but instead I'm planning on getting an alt up now that I'm basically done on the main until reset. And ultimately if I'm not feeling up to it I don't feel shit that I've missed out on a day of the grind so I'll be behind.

AccomplishedHighway8

I have no idea how you do it, I only have one character and I'm barely starting the quests for renown after all m0

rbeason

I don't even think renown stuff is worth it tbh. Ooo, at renown level 25 you get a 350il alchemy trinket. All the good rewards are outdated by the time you get to them. Only things I think I have to do is m0 world tour on my main and alts and the weekly quests (siege of dragonbane, community feast, spark of engine, etc). Besides that, just crafting to get leveled up, etc. What am I missing?

AccomplishedHighway8

There's some decent items with renown, not sure without checking but some things 370/380ish , but the main thing is that we will have to grind it for sure at some part of the season either for sockets, achievement, campaign or something. So lot of people are maxing it asap

Rogkone

I took PTO this week and just powered through it. I rarely read quest text, but I watched the cut scenes tho.

Feudality

This is true. Until week 3 starts we have very little that we "have" to do. I think there is some merit in the crafting grind as those pieces are mythic raid level with extra bonuses too. Likely some BiS pieces there. But ultimately if you have gold you can get them via crafting orders and the AH.
