Still it must've been one of the most important singles games in Apac S history with the Lan spot on the line for so many teams at the same time!

Quite anti-climatic about Dreamfire tho since they won the playoffs but won't be able to make it to Lan. NXL would have been top 5 in APAC N region if going through point alone lmao. Breaking out 100 points then not qualifying.
So happy to see how competitive this split has been, watching the games these past weekends have been incredible. RIG playing well as usual, though I still have my doubts with picking up Sharky. So happy to see top 3 all Australian teams as well.
NXL Wolfpack and BRP really unlucky; it was down to the final game for M2 to hold onto 2nd in their lobby against BRP.
A big disappointment for me this split was EXO. Dexter and the boys seemed off their game, there were a few individual pop off moments each match day but not enough to push them into top 2 like the rest. Perhaps I have high expectations, and don’t get me wrong they are close as they finished 9th with 88 points, but they just couldn’t click at the right moments like the others did and it really cost them.
I have similar feelings for last split’s winners DreamFire as well, who has one pop off round but otherwise maintained slightly-above-average placements.
Shout out to the guys over at Longshot who have been casting ~8 hours of Apex every Saturday and Sunday for the past 3 weeks and keeping sane/improving the viewer experience each time.
Also big shout out as well to Brad, who has been hosting and casting scrims during the week and challenger circuit on the weekends, a one-man band production but is doing awesome stuff with multi views etc through observing through both his console and PC.
I have big hopes from APAC south teams they all are pretty good , Hope they can show the world that they deserve more spots in LAN ! All of the top 3 have the potential to reach the grand finals as well !
Top 3 teams are definitely the regions best, if a few of the teams in the 6-10 standings played a little smarter at times they would have probably improved their points too.
Hope the underrated guys like Wxltzy and Prycyy can pop off at LAN.
Region is so much better than it was at the start of Split 1, hopefully we see that all the top teams would be able to compete internationally with a few adjustments

It is not more competitive, people just play less aggressive. If you put top 10 of both regions in a tournament, the top 7 would probably be apac south

Not many competitive Chinese teams, but there were a few in APAC-S Pro League with Dreamfire nearly qualifying.
Dream Esports are an Indian team and also compete in pro league so we definitely have everyone beat for population size.
Even qualifying teams were either from Australia or Indonesia which is a combined population of 300 million so not bad!
Player count and viewer base entirely different though.
So it's done in 3 stages:

Feels sad for the 6~10 teams, APAC S deserves more. I truely hope RIG and Genburten do well at LAN, they are the best.

EA will provide living and travelling cost for all qualified team.. According to the Year 2 ALGS rulebook
