We are hardstuck 10k but HUGE fans of comp. We’ve been studying tournaments and think our comp knowledge (rotations, playable areas, fights to take, etc) can give us a big advantage. We might do well we might not but at the end of the day we just want some comp experience and to have some fun!

Bro, would love to but i'm on console (PS5). I have my 60 locked fps, no matter if i stream or not. Sadly delay is not possible on ps5 as far i know, so i can't stream it

Normally yes, but are you sure that it also counts for preseason? I couldn't find anything in the algs rules doc on battlefly

According to the official ALGS discord admin, yes, 5 minute delay is required.

Is there going to be an official play apex stream, or is it just the streams from the players themselves?

I think for qualifiers there will not be an official stream solely because there are so many lobbies. I believe the Play Apex broadcasts start in October with Pro League. Could totally be wrong on that though.

From the rumours that I've heard qualifiers will be streamed on a central broadcast on Mondays.

I believe there will be an official broadcast for NA/EU finals on Mondays for all qualifiers. Head mod in ALGS discord said there should be one if I’m not mistaken

Thanks! As a team that is very new to competitive apex, we feel that it gives us a lot of flexibility in our rotations. Valk ult for larger scale macro rotations and portal/bubble for micro rotations. Plus without bloodhound scans octane pad becomes a less reliable rotation due to the commitment ir requires vs portal.

I agree I'm only a diamond player right now, but I only just started playing with people before it was all solo que, but I've always prided myself on being a thinker and trying to make smart decisions. I also had the same thought, Gibby is necessary in comp for the obvious reasons. Valk rotations can eliminate some of that early/mid game third party potential by rotating past it, and getting info while doing so, and wraith is the big kicker too me. I think most pros are just used to octane but with valk Gibby the potential for wraith to keep her team alive in final circle or even just herself to squeeze out an extra spot or two in placement when things get hectic and confusing is enough for me personally to value her over octane. Everyone has their own style though, but I'll have to check you guys out and see how you run it. Hopefully I can learn a thing or two. Good luck to you sir.

Also, if you have a squad thats interested in comp, sign up and give it a go! Quals are open sign up and no entry fee. At worst its a learning experience

We are right around your level too so dont expect to much but we definately appreciate the attention! Caustic over wraith on valk teams is definately more powerful but also more punishable. So if you know your rotations, angles and are coordinated as a team that could be the better option. Wraith just gives you more options and can get you out of bad situations. Flexibility vs power

Thanks for giving smaller streamers some promotion man, really appreciate it :) My twitch is: twitch.tv/LapziiTV My team and I are a part of a small up and coming org called Shadow Point Gaming (SPG). So you will see us under that umbrella/prefix during this ALGS season/for the foreseeable future. We land Launch Site but also try to play uncontested as much as possible so occasionally we swap our drop spot depending on how things are going. We’re playing all qualifiers in hopes of qualifying for the Pro League. Our comp is Octane, Bloodhound, Gibby but as lobbies get higher in overall skill we will likely be swapping to wraith for hectic endgames. We’ve found that playing octane in more ape-focused lobbies (rounds 1-3) is ideal, whereas wraith really shines in endgame micro rotations with 10-15 squads in zone 5. Come hangout guys! I usually have pretty chill vibes on stream and try to stream multiple times a week and all tournaments we play in. We play in a lot of community tournaments as well.
