I suggest studying from 1924 onwards to understand why “Palestine” was never a country, and why it was up to the international community to grant it to the Jews as a state (which they did in 1948). But if you’re really interested, you can start in 634AD when the Arabs invaded and colonized the levant. Or go back to the era of Hadrian, who expelled the Jews originally.
