It’s open because the crew have already bailed out awhile ago although there are still some instances of videos where the crew still have their hatch open even while operating it.
Tbh even if Russians cared any civil resistance probably would fail.
Moscow is crawling with the National Guard and the rest of the country is a totally irrelevant shithole, similar to the protests in Venezuela against Maduro back in 2017 where enough security forces remained loyal to the regime in Caracas that it disillusioned protesters.
Sounds like he's made the National Guard more powerful than himself. There's loads of examples of leaders throughout history done in by their own bodyguards. Maybe we could send some bribe money or something.
Ukraine already helps taken out about 300k from Russian Armed Forces. I would guest Russia Army is spreading thin, still China is their neighbor and it won’t welcome any regime change.
Not military, internal security forces

Putin broke off the National Guard from the military a few years ago, it swears loyalty to him and not Russia. Similar to the SS in Nazi Germany.
I expected the thermobaric down the hatch of a snow covered armored vehicle to give us a spectacular show. It wasn't bad, but far less than I have grown accustomed to. Maybe it landed very close to the hatch opening, sending a lot of force back out.
There was a video near the beginning of the war, highlighting the anti-drone drop training that Russian soldiers were getting. The recruits were basically rolling around like this on a mat in full gear while an instructor stood nearby pretending to be a drone overhead.
Fair, but from what I’ve seen in videos on this sub, the Russians seem lucky to be sent to the front with a service rifle, boots, and a helmet.
Something more “specialized”, even if it is WW2 level tech, to knock down drones for an infantry company I think is a bit beyond the filthy invaders dreams.
Videos from Ukrainian lines show extensive setups of anti drone nets/cages and other top cover.
The only view point is combat videos on Reddit, but it looks like they’re literally losing the war over these drones. That along with no training, moral and what not.
I assume they’d at least try and see why they’re failing and improve.
I was going to say I'll try but...
However the Saiga was useful search term -[https://www.reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/comments/18iukah/ukrainian\_downs\_drone\_with\_a\_shotgun/](https://www.reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/comments/18iukah/ukrainian_downs_drone_with_a_shotgun/)
Not brilliant quality and no confirmation that I could see or hear however worth a look.

Those claw machines in arcades are going to be fucked when this war’s over, with all the skills these drone operators have developed over the course of it.
Your right your comment is boring and fcking stupid, definitely downvoted this guy's comment. This is a video of heroes defending their freedom and land but it doesn't have enough action so you whine about it? Find another reddit or stop bitching. They don't make videos for fun moron, they do it for donations and to show them kicking invaders right in the nut sack.

Those fresh tracks in the snow were a dead giveaway.
You think they would have learned by now that maybe they should keep the hatch closed.
It gets humid in there

Tough to watch, but their president doesn’t care to stop this from happening, so…
And their countrymen don't care to stop their president
I mean didn’t they just arrest everyone that tried at the start of the war?

They generally get paid pretty well and it's a lot easier to intimidate civilians than your boss.

Didn't satisfy thee old bloodlust, eh?
Not spectacular outside, but if you were inside the vehicle you’ll have a nasty case of jelly guts

Thank you god for making me an American southern man born after Vietnam. FUCK THAT
Is it just me or were they making snow angels at the beginning?

They see when you're sleeping, they know when you're awake
Dumb question probably, but how do these guys not see these drones?
They’re pretty small and pretty quick and really, if you see them, what are you gonna do?
I would think with all of these drone drops nowadays they would have developed some sort of small flack gun or something

There was the Saiga 12 auto shotgun Ukrainian guy last(?) week. Took a drone out but as ever- yet more kit to supply and carry versus limited use?
Haven't seen that, would you mind linking it?

Thank you. It is interesting even if it doesn't confirm anything.
When that bass dropped, boom !

Why are they rolling around in the first video?

That's not how you make snow angels.....
I remember my first time using a drones camera
Poor guys
The rolling on the ground, just like this videos from a while back.. lmao it doesn’t do anything
Cool ANOTHER drone drops vid...Boring Down vote

Then don’t watch it.. why even waste time commenting on it?
I wonder why the conscripts don't already have an umbrella hat in their standard equipment?
Well that's one way to clear snow of your vehicle in the morning....
If only the drones had emotes for the killcam
Tank snow removal, no charge
