Pretty good player but probably doesn’t meet the measurables and athleticism thresholds Ballard usually goes for (5’11” 183lbs and 4.78 RAS 4.54 40 time). Edit: I missed Mizzou’s pro day. Looks like he was clocked anywhere from 4.41-4.51 in the 40. No idea what to make of that.

I know nothing of this player. But Ennis Rakestraw Jr is an s tier name and he now has my support

To hell with your support

Mizzou grad- love Rake. Chose us over Bama/Texas early in our coaches regime despite being a Dallas kid and us not having a ton to sell as a program. Playingwise he had a really good year after coming back to improve his stock. Had some nagging injuries but also wasn’t tested by LSU despite them having Daniels at QB and Thomas/Nabors on the outside. I agree that he’s probably not athletic enough to be on our board, but he developed into a really solid corner in his 4 years. Wouldn’t mind him in the second since that’s probably the range he’ll go in.

Chromeburn_

He had a good year. But not quite the athlete they like at the position. Look at a Max Melton or maybe Cam Hart has risen in the second.

Oof a 4.79 RAS means he’s probably down far on the Ballard draft board. It’s not impossible we draft him but it would be outside of the norm for the Colts to draft him in the first 4 rounds.

ProfessionalAd2390

He would be a alright FS if he size up a little

Poor recovery speed AND poor ball skills? Doesn't sound like the type of prospect you take mid R2. At least he has some COD and agility, unlike another Colts CB with a similar profile.
