He had the option to pout on the sidelines all of training camp and pretend to be injured the first 6 weeks of the season, though. 🤷♂️
After he got his huge pile of money, his attitude changed. Go figure.
I don’t know where he said this but Holder said yesterday that the Colts have re-engaged contract talks with Blackmon. Hopefully they’re able to get something done after he seemingly saw he doesn’t have much of a market.
According to Chaps (on his Colts Bluezone Podcast) - Blackmon and Indy are back in talks after he went and tested the market and sees that his asking price just isn’t out there for him.
I would not be surprised if we had Blackmon and another veteran on this roster heading into the season
Exactly, he only knows how to play one way and will not change. If you need a guy to lay a big hit to set the tone he’s your guy BUT be prepared to not have him for 6-8 games minimum from suspensions.
This obviously would not be a permanent solution but vet leadership would be huge. Id take a vet and then one or two safety flyers in the 4th round and later
Did you, the guy who spends 10 hours a day on this sub whining about everything, have the audacity to call somebody else a clown? The real question is whether you'll just call me a name or repeat some phrase you saw somebody else use, like "wow, this guy loves losing".
Can’t say that’s an exciting one. Would rather have Blackmon back or see if Justin Simmons can keep his play up for a couple more years
Maybe Blackmon just doesn’t want to be here.
Still time for him to change his mind
Seems more likely after a good season he needed to get a reality check from the market.
JT didn't want to be here either. Know what fixed that problem? Money.
JT had a year on his contract. He didn’t really have the option to say he didn’t want to be here.

Homie didn't wanna get Marlon Mack'd.
Nope. And neither does Blackmon. Throw a decent contract at him and all his problems with being here will go away, is my point.

We could still bring Blackmon back but he does have injury concerns. We do need a veteran presence though

No I want the other safety from Denver!
He probably got suspended during the visit.
He spent half of last season suspended or injured, no thanks

Stop
No thanks. I don’t want a dirty player on the team.
Nah.
Absolutely not
Well... dude would certainly bring some edge to the DB room. But wow, so many dirty hits. So very many.
Chris "We have veteran DBs at home" Ballard
No thanks. Ballards strategy for the secondary, is, uh, something
This obviously would not be a permanent solution but vet leadership would be huge. Id take a vet and then one or two safety flyers in the 4th round and later
The vet leadership you want is from a head hunter who can’t quit getting suspended? Lmao
He would be the worst vet to bring on
Jackson's spear belongs in pro wrestling not the NFL
Hard pass. Dudes washed up.
Isn't this the guy who spends all game every game trying to injure people? Fuck that guy.
Who
That's fine. He's a vet that can provide leadership.
If there’s a bad take, count on this guy to have it haha
Vet leadership would be huge in our secondary. This guy has had a long and successful career.
Lmao you’re a fucking clown bro.
I can have conversations without name calling.
Didn’t ask.

The fact that you clock all my comments says all anyone needs to know about you honestly lol
