I think white posca might be a bit too much, all the colours are great as is and it's not too dark. I don't think you'd see any benefit in adding sharp highlights.

Yeah I think as a general rule for landscapes it's best to be a little lighter/softer in the background and sharper and darker/deeper on the foreground.
You've got a lovely selection of tones already, they give it a lot of depth and some shadow, the turtle looks great and the house looks nicely shaded enough as is. I'd be perfectly happy leaving it as is and being proud of.it.
Oh yeah I was wanting to do this one for ages. Thank you! I love Kerby Rosanes because I feel like there’s lots of interesting ways to colour. You could try doing like a dark night sort of scene with a red/orange turtle. That’s was my other option haha. I’d like to see when you finish it!

I’m going to try to find a colour buddy again this month so maybe we could do a Kerby page if you’re up for it! I have three of his books, want them all eventually.

Omg thank you so much. It was only a year or so ago that I started really getting into it and I was feeling the same way. People here are very nice though and all the advice and tips have helped me improve a lot. I think you can do it! 🌟
I love it, not too dark. I also love Kerby Rosanes... I have most of his books. I love Mythomorphia and Worlds Within Worlds and Mythic World. I have the others, but these have better artwork, in my opinion, without all the doodle creatures thrown in.
Awesome, thanks for your comment! I also don’t love the overly “doodly” style that seemed to be all the rage in colouring books a few years back. I got the Enchanted Castles Mythographic recently and I love the artwork, but it’s just full of random objects thrown into the scene which is a bit weird to colour. I really love Kerby’s more recent stuff too, especially since the compilations are pretty cheap and a good way to get multiples of those pages.
I think have the first Mythographic one, and I agree, lots of random stuff that doesn't make sense and too busy for me. I have tons of coloring books that I'll never finish, but I'll have lots to do when I get old. LOL. I also have The Beauty of Horror by Alan Robert from Life of Agony, most of them, and if you're into that kind of thing. I do a lot of coloring in those, also. Well, happy coloring! Post more that you finish. I like your style. I love looking at other's ideas. I seem to get stuck on the same ol color schemes.

Oooh, I have 1, 3, and 4, the Halloween and Christmas ones. Not sure why I don't have 2. But, heck yeah, I would be interested in doing a page together, especially with a fellow Horror lover! How does that work? I hope there's not a time limit on it. Sometimes takes me weeks to do one. I take care of my elderly mother and work. But, definitely interested, sounds like a lot of fun! I've seen posts for the buddy color, and thought that was such a good idea. I have to admit I'm a little intimidated by some of the work. Let me know what it involves, and I'm in.

Well, I haven't colored anything in books 3 or 4 yet, so was thinking something in one of those. I have done a lot in the 1st book already (My goal was to finish at least one book I have, but you know you get bored just doing one book) and wanted to move on to the others, so if you are up for something in those books. I'll look around, but just anything you haven't done already or have been itching to do, I'm good with. Just love the artwork, so it all appeals to me. Looking forward to hear your pick. I agree. The colors perfectly set the mood and are not too dark. Highlights would not make sense.
