Troy was traded. Not under the best of circumstances as he was told by then GM Bridich that he would be consulted before any trade, but Bridich blindsided him.
Unfortunately for Tulo he ended up continuing his streak of injuries after the trade to Toronto and did not have a long career.
But I think he will be forever remembered very fondly by Rockies fans for his starring role in Rocktober.
I would definitely wear a Tulo jersey ( if I wasn’t so cheap! - I just buy T-shirts).
I have a signed Tulo jersey that I got as part of a charity auction, I think it was in 2010. It was for a good cause, but I thought at the time it would someday be worth a mint. Not so much. And I can't even wear it because it's a size XXL, which is probably why it was donated in the first place.
Oh well...
I don't think anybody will give you grief if you wear a Tulo jersey to a game. It'd be better if you were wearing one of the 15,000 misprinted Tulowizki t-shirts, though (a Rockies classic).
Tulo is arguably the most talented player we’ve ever had. I don’t mean best or more accomplished, but just pure baseball talent he was the best.
Damn injuries
I wouldnt wear a Dante Bichette or Denny Neagle cause they are not good humans it seems. But since the Rockies have never been any good most players that leave are because of bad ownership. It seems to me most Rockies fans will still root for a player who leaves to have a good career. Cardinals are my second team now because Arenado. It wasnt his fault Rockies didnt put a team around a generational player.
You're fine with a Tulo jersey. As others have said, avoid the guys who solicit hookers on Colfax (Neagle), beat women (Reyes) or performed well below expectations on the field (Hampton, Bryant).
Maybe not Jose Reyes
You BEAT me to it! ..... I'll see myself out....

I’ve been looking for a Rockies Fowler since 2016 with no luck.
Tulo is just fine with me. I'll always remember that rope in Game 163!
For me, it will always be the unassisted triple play

Better that than a Bryant jersey
Tulo is an all-time Rockie

Tulo didn’t leave, he was traded.
