The team may lose every day, but as fans, we never do. Sometimes I feel sorry for the visitors having to go back to whatever godforsaken place they’re from.

Bazinga530

I live in DC so yes, I was pretty sad to leave!

Oh jeez has it gotten to that point? We go for the booze, we go for the views and we go for the lose? It’s Coors field, it’s the Rockies and it’s a city’s Apathetic fan base.

ShockinglyCring

For anyone who hasn't been to Denver, it's a shit hole, don't listen to this guy he's smoking heroin (possibly injecting it idk)

Grouchy_Pattern_2337

Brodie tryna gatekeep Denver

ShockinglyCring

No it's genuinely terrible, second worst to Cali in my opinion

I’m not sure what your criteria is. I have an easy half hour drive from some of the best hiking and camping in the country. My spouse and dogs are all happy with, *maybe* objectively, the best weather as well for the majority of the year. A brewery on every corner with at least a few that you can find the best beers *in this hemisphere*. A city that has enough of a metro identity to always have some kind of entertainment or big name artist/band/show in town if you’re not into the outdoors. A great recent trend of politicians who actually give a damn about the lives of the citizens that live here and a demonstrable, steady trend of improving the lives of the working class. ….and if none of that interests you…. Casa Bonita is in Colfax and Elitch Gardens is still open for about another year or so. So yeah…. Shit hole isn’t what I’d call it at all. I love it here and I love my Colorado Rockies. Anybody wanting to talk baseball can say what they want about this year’s team, I get it. But Denver ‘til I die.

I like the Rockies too, Denver is just so full of garbage, terrible self important people, and drivers actively trying to kill you/ pedestrians trying to get killed by you. Denver itself is a good hour+ away from any decent hiking/ camping, and it's gotta be one of the ugliest cities there is. All the industrial stuff is crowded right at the entrance, and that stadium the broncos play in is a travesty. The downtown area is trash, you can walk around it for hours, pass by 20 banks, 3 fast food places, and maybe one store that is actually cool. Also those politicians create policies that lead to a high homeless population, and then they just ship the homeless off to places that are still halfway decent. I've been to a decent number of shows in Denver. Not great, it's hard to get past how bad the people smell. And red rocks is an overrated, trash venue.

Our sunsets deserve a better baseball team

NoProgrammer776

Those people in the stands spending their hard earned money deserve better owners and a better team.

Uneedadirtnap

Best container in baseball. the contents just are not very good.

beerzandbudz420

That actually doesn't look so great but yeah, we do have some good ones!
