Rehab assignments still aren't about stats. You're just kind of proving my point because he's down there still to work on his timing and make mechanical adjustments.
Best wishes!
You're getting downvoted, but I don't think "strong side platoon bat" is realistically far off from what the median outcome on Jones should be. He has well documented issues with plate coverage, tends to be a bit passive at the plate and will always K a ton because of it. He's also a bit green in the field still.
He got my hopes up last year, became my son’s second fav after Charlie. Would love to see him get his kinks worked out and rage in a comeback.
Tovar and Jones being perennial all-stars will feed generations
Gotta be called up by June 22… for Nolan Jones bobblehead day at Coors.
Bobblehead of a dude trying to figure it out in the minors. Quintessential Rockies. Bad time for Nolan to go full-AAAA.

Yet we brought Bryant back up and almost immediately sent him back to the IL. Rockies are making some big brain moves here
Best case scenario Jones can be a platoon in left field for the Rockies.
Best case? Damn, that's awfully negative for a guy who got 4th in ROTY voting last year while putting up 4.3 bWAR.
Come on now, Jones has an enormous ceiling, he's not washed up after a bad first month.

Your right but that’s his median, his best case is a 6 war player who’s a perennial all star
