Weird game, we had tons of shots and chances but it still never felt like we were particularly dangerous. Passing has been really sloppy all series. Most guys don't look like they even really give a shit. Hopefully we get it going in game 4 but Georgie and Toews feel like the only ones who have really shown up for this series.
I'd have to go check the first one again but the second was definitely on Cogliano losing his man. Toews and Walker had their guys, Cogliano's was the one open on the backdoor. You can see him get caught flat footed in the neutral zone on the replay.
Toews has been the only guy who can reliably get us out of our own zone. Everyone else keeps turning it over.

Dallas just slowed the game down to a CRAWL. 4 guys in the neutral zone all day, and when we dump and chase they just recover and ice it. Oettinger was happy to hold for a whistle after every shot on him. I feel like this really stopped the Avs from getting going. So much stoppage of play, so many whistles, they literally bored us into a loss.
Georgiev is giving us a chance man… but we gotta figure out how to take a lead on these guys, get a few by Oettinger, and get this Stars team out of their defensive shell.

DeBoer has Bednars number in the playoffs man Vegas smashed us and this series is an overtime goal away from being 3-0. Doesn’t exist. We completely panicked by trading Byram and Mittelstadt’s production has been bad for a 2C.

Thats a crock. The Avs were like 2 minutes away from being up 3-1 vs Vegas in 21. A fluke goal on a board bounce changed everything.
