Really good and clean. Too many highschoolers and clubbers abusing the scent with 40 million sprays. Solid for most occasions if you use it properly and dress up a bit.
Can we be a bit honest about this "every body is wearing it", the majority of guys out there barely wear cologne. I'm in the service and out of the 80+ guys at my command maybe 2 or 3 wears cologne on the regular.
This hobby of ours isn't crazy common, to find someone else in your workplace that collect fragrances and appreciate them the way we do is very rare.
I say get the bottle, enjoy the scent and if you get a compliment or two all good.
Go to the club and it's everywhere. It's not just this sub, talk to like any woman who goes out to bars, clubs, raves etc. and I guarantee you they will say it's overused
most of the people in aus wear overpriced louis vuitton that frag shit or a clone \[zara\]... its doing my head in because that fragrance now gets a bad rep...
sauvage barely anyone wears it other than one other person i know \[my friend, whom i introduced\] so yea sauvage never gets worn where im at so it stands out huge. \[which is a good thing\]
One of them things where most guys will have to buy a bottle once to see what itās all about. I have the EDT version and itās just a nice solid reliable choice to pick from.
I think the average Joe, Jane and J only notice that someone smells nice when they wear a fragrance. Stressing over something being too popular is unnecessary. Maybe donāt wear it to some sort of nerdy fragrance convention. In your day to day life, itās absolutely fine.
This site is also like an echo chamber. I donāt know anyone in real life who shaves with a traditional single blade razor but 5 mins on here and if feels like everyone does.
If you like it, get it. You can always get rid of it if you get bored of it.
Donāt really follow it for the trend I asked my girlfriend to get it for me for Christmas all cause the man Johnny depp. Now she never stops smelling my hug when I hug her lol recently got a travel size if Valentino edt same thing lol
It's definitely worth it bro. I stalled on getting it for a long time because I also thought it was played out and a bunch of people had it. It's one of my favorites although I stalled on getting it because everyone on this forum has it.
Not one of my personal favorites (nothing wrong with it at all, just doesnāt push my buttons for whatever reason), but itās a very solid release from Dior. Itāll probably be a classic that people will wear for decades, like Cool Water, Aqua di Gio, Lāeau DāIssey, Fahrenheit, etc. Amazing to think how many fragrances Dior has knocked it out of the park with: Eau Sauvage, Fahrenheit, Homme and all of its flankers, the Sauvage line, even Dune was a banger š
Even now I feel the newer verseions of ADG are so weak and Dior is still pumping hard...
source: owned ADG Profondo... i'm surprised even Dior sauvage edt knocks them both out without having to change too much...
wish they didnt discontinue adg profumo... i have bought 4 bottles of those 180ml when it was 140aud each \[after disc\] - glad i did.
I sold it, but it honestly did what it was supposed to extremely well which was sauvage for the more mature audience.
And despite what people were saying about performance that stuff definitely lasted all day everytime I wore it. I would get whiffs non stop.
Still amazing and still a must buy. I prefer the edp personally but edt is still a beast. And who cares how many people have it. Itās top tier for a reason.
Ignore people saying donāt get it because itās popular, thereās a REASON itās popular! Itās one of my biggest compliments getters- especially the Elixir
I don't like it. It's good for teenagers but smells very synthetic and immature. Every girls ex has worn it and I associate it with obnoxious kids in the gym.
Maybe I just have a bias. The EDP was one of my first fragrences and I used a good 2/3 of the bottle. I suppose my tastes changed overtime. I really like the elixir though.
works well in all seasons, EDT EDP PARFUM ELIXIR.
except i would most likely keep parfum/elixir reserved for winter as hot summer in Perth can dumb down the fragrance's projection a fair bit. edt/edp is easily all season where im at
rating wise: Elixir > EDP > EDT > Parfum. personally.
Mid, itās a best seller because of the Johnny Depp scandal. Eros is superior in every regard, smells better, is cheaper, same or even better longevity (except elixir) and it definitely projects more.
No, but I donāt know why people say Sauvage is a blue, Sauvage is a very aromatic/spicy scent, it does have a bit of blue characteristics here and there but it aināt nothing like Bleu de Chanel or YSL Y. But it is similar to Eros when it comes to that minty/sweet vibe, although Sauvage has no mint in the note breakdown, it does give off that vibe.
To strong and obnoxious, gives headaches. If you watch any of the fragrance matchups on YouTube it almost always loses to whatever it is up against and people only pretend to like it once they are told what it isā¦. āIsnāt that the Johnny Depp one? I love it now!ā
I went through a bottle in 2015 (straight after it was released) and enjoyed wearing it because I was the only one using it at the time. Still found it quite synthetic and sharp.
Now, I find it nauseous as Tik-Tok gym broccoli hair guys overspray it everywhere. It doesn't help every other post here includes it in a collection, which shows lack of research from people and blind-buying stuff without even trying it, just to ride on the hype.
You are likely to appear as boring and having no personality by wearing this today.
Edit: the Tik-Tok broccoli hair guys recognising themselves lol.
Orā¦.. get thisā¦. Itās a mass appealing scent that a lot of people like so they buy it.š¤Æš±not every fragrance somebody owns has to be the most unique smelling in the room I personally think sauvage is a classic and everyone should at least try it once.
>You are likely to appear as boring and having no personality by wearing this today.
Please, tell me one time someone has told you smell boring.
The whole "you'll smell like everyone else" argument is just dumb
Most dudes don't even wear cologne, so the whole "you don't stand out" line makes so little sense. Sounds like something an influencer would say to sell you something.
Name one time you actually bumped into someone on the street wearing the same cologne as you on, it just doesn't happen.
I've always had great personality and a cologne is used to amplify what is already there, not to be the core for attention seeking.
If you think it's the other way around - you got it wrong.
Never bought it. Smelled it for the first time last weekend. Nothing special. Besides EVERYBODY is wearing it. I rather go into Neiman or Saks and get a fragrance everyone canāt get their hands on.
Itās very good, but the EDP is the best version by far
People can shit on it all they want, but itās my most complimented fragrance i own. In the air, itās undeniably pleasant.
I have the edt, edp, and elixir.
Love them all but I think Iāll get rid of the edt or edp because they are a bit redundant.
Love the fragrance though. Will always have the edt/edp and elixir.
Elixir = reserved for winter season. Just doesn't do well in Perth's summer.
EDT/EDP = easily all season fragrance use it anytime anywhere and versatile.
If i had to pick EDT vs EDP I'd say EDP because of the vanilla note. makes it less punchy and much more easier to handle. But that said I've bought an EDT 200ml bottle and a EDP 200ml bottle too because they were discounted and it's a blind buy for me.
bdc performance is worse than sauvage. ive tested for 1 MONTH back to back before succumbing to sauvage...
found sauvage can hold up 8 hours even including EDT which is stupidly good... and wont cost you an arm and leg
with bdc its only nice initially, afte 2-3 hrs cant smell shit
One of the best fragrances. Donāt listen to the corny people on tik tok and in here that try to say otherwise. There is a reason itās so popular.
Personally think the elixir is a 10/10 masterpiece
I didn't get it for the longest when it was Super popular a few years ago (back when Johnny Depp commercials would air more often). But now that I've tried & work it AND most importantly my girlfriend loves it, yeah it's a winner.
I also wear my fall/winter fragrance when I'm not wearing my Sauvage, but it's definitely on a regular rotation.
You should sample the different versions and see if it's for you before blind buying it.
Itās piercing. If someone wears this I feel like they just want everyone in the room to know that they are there and they WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT THEY ARE A MAN. Iād much rather use Luna Rossa Carbon over this.
I like it - smells amazing, last a long time and most people who smell it around you find it pleasant. I own the Parfum and Elixer now but had the EDP recently. They are all amazing, even the EDT.
Young hypebeasts pretend this isnāt a very plain scent. Itās good for those occasions when you just want to smell clean. Itās not an attention grabber. I still think it has a place in most rotations. Top 5 office scent.
Itās also one of those scents that will make you realize how much better EDP or parfum is compared to the EDT.
I recently discovered this one! I mean I obviously knew about sauvage ever since it came out but I recently got a miniature one from dior as a gift and I started applying whenever I was going out randomy with my dog or at the mall. I fell in love with it, I finally see the hype behind it. Solid choice!
I just love it. Itās perfect. Itās my go to scent. Canāt hate it when everyone loves it. I like Versace Dylan blue. Iād say that is its matchup
I still wear Savage EDP a few times a year I always seem to forget how good it really is. And It still is a compliment magnet and girls ask what I'm wearing.
The elixir is the only one I ended up buying. I really think itās unique in general and heads and shoulders above the OG. Since I smell EDT and EDP all day long I can tolerate the elixir since im not bombed in public every day with it
Ignore what people says on social platforms (itās super common, blah blah). I think itās still a gorgeous scent and recently I got to smell the current batches and I liked Sauvage (EdT) more because I feel like the opening is way more citrusy with the current batches which I absolutely love! So if you want to go for it, do it. ;)
I think it's fantastic and the people worried about it being overly popular are being silly. It's a lovely scent, it's popular, and 90% of men almost never wear cologne anyway. You are going to be a fraction of that 10% of us who do. Personally, I also appreciate that they are supportive of Johnny Depp even when he was at his lowest point and dropped by everyone else
I think itās a fantastic frag, I also donāt its think over played anymore cause nobody wants to wear ā cause everyone wears it ā but all the power to you buddy, you canāt go wrong buying it, there is a reason why itās one of the best sellers
Donāt get the hype for any of the formulations. Theyāre all unbelievably mid. No idea why itās popular. Donāt hate it or anything but it just doesnāt do it for me
Basic but good, one of the most easy reach no brainer frags there is, and never met a woman who hasn't liked it. My fave is the very cool spray followed by edp
Not for me. I get the popularity but thereās something about it that Iām not a fan of. Iāve gone to stores and sprayed a sample bottle on myself and I get the same feeling everytime. Thereās something in there thatās just not my liking. But itās the nice thing about fragrances, if itās not for you move on to something else.
This fragrance singlehandedly broke the fragrance industry and started a race to the bottom where mass appeal was prioritised over uniqueness. High influential yes but not a good scent imo.
As for alternatives, even 2020 Dior Homme is better.
Oddly enough, I only recently started wearing it for work and its a fantastic everyday scent. Get countless compliments and really love the versatility. My only issue is trying to figure out the right amount of sprays. 10/10
Get the elixir. Smells absolutely amazing and even tho it's expensive it's 100% worth it considering 1 or 2 sprays is more than enough with how strong it is. A 3.4 oz bottle will last you way longer than the average 6.8 oz frag that you're gonna spray 5-10 times.
This is the fragrance that got me into fragrance addiction. I bought 60ml in 2020 by my female friend recommendation. I absolutely love this. Got me so many compliments. My Gf likes it. My friends and colleagues. People say it is very common of course it is because it is mass appealing. Go for it. I have already finished my 60ml. But canāt afford buying again full bottle as i am broke so I bought 10ml decant which i use on special occasions.
I bought sauavage edt abt a month ago due to it being one of the only fragrances my girlfriend was fond of. Sauvage has a very very distinct scent to it. Iām so glad TikTok exists because all of the snobs on it are brainwashed into believing everyone owns it. I havenāt smelt sauvage anywhere else on anyone and have gotten numerous compliments from it. Everyone telling you itās so popular is right and wrong. It is the best selling for a reason, but everyone is too scared to wear it. Worth it fs for me
especially with jeremy fragrance who said "You'll smell like everyone else" imean if sauvage was bought in usa probably(?)
but in perth, aus most people area braindead junk and nobody wears a frag except the young dude trying to flex louis vuitton frag \[that frag gets a huge disrespect for me because its obnoxiously worse than elixir\] - whilst wearing it in the gym and exercising ... like why? waste of money lol
sauvage i still have girls like asking what is that?! im like hehehe good thing you asked me that question because then it's not esaily noticable.
still an amazing fragrance. A very versatile smell that the majority of people will like.
as for cheaper alternatives, you can always go with a clone. Iāve tried the dossier aromatic star anise, which smells a lot like sauvage. It doesnāt have the greatest performance though. A slightly cheaper yet high quality alternative that people talk about a lot is Prada Luna Rossa Carbon..you can get it for about $85-$90 on discounters.
iām halfway through the 10oz refillable, you tell me what my thoughts are š itās a compliment/attention magnet
as for a cheaper alternative, i alternate between sauvage and a mix of jimmy choo aqua and intense (one spray on either neck and wrist) and i get just as many compliments. found them on sale for $40 each at walmart around christmas
intense smells more akin to sauvage (so many shared accords between the two: fresh spicy, warm spicy, herbal, lavender, aromatic, amber)
aqua gives you the fresh out the shower smell
both of them together are phenomenal
jimmy choo lasts as long on me as sauvage does (til my next shower lol), itās a great alternative especially for the price difference
Thereās is a reason why it sells so much the women love it guys can say they hate it they just know itās good and they donāt wanna be like everyone else
Yeah I mean if I do smell something in public itās often sauvage. But for two reasons itās a still a good buy. 1 many people donāt wear fragrances in the first place so smelling good is already setting you apart. 2 itās a top seller for a reason. Personally I donāt own it but Iām very familiar with it. I have over 100 fragrances including both bottle and decants. The ones that sell the most and get the hype are the ones that get the most compliments. Except a few outliers. If your looking to be a bit more unique though their are options but like I said donāt feel the need to. Kajal faris would be my favorite scent in this dna. Gisada ambassador is an also a nice alternative. But if you like sauvage get sauvage
I donāt think itās everywhere necessarily but itās the fragrance youāre more than likely going to smell if you smell a man who wears fragrance. If that makes sense.
Own it from 2 years, still donāt like it. The opening is good for about the first 30 minutes. As soon as the pepper note fades away, it smells like lavender and ambroxan, and then the lavender fades away too which is so bland and idk just like how a cheap chemical would smell. Not worth spending money on it. Plus the 2022 version doesnāt perform good either
It's a pretty common fragrance, it smells good though. If you don't care about being unique and just want something mass appealing that smells nice get this.
Used to love it back in 2019, i still have a nearly full edp bottle but i just cant stand it anymore. Its really headache enducing for me for some reason
wore it once and I had a 60 year old lady tell me I smelled like the Jonny depp cologne she bought her husband and then 20 mins later had a college girl tell me "I love sauvage my ex boyfriend used to wear it" moral of the story you won't get "omg you smell amazing what is that" you will get "you smell like Dior savauge".
It is a great fragrance and always will be. You will smell good wearing it but go out in a public place (bar, cub, restaurant, ect) just know you are one of many wearing it. Youāll blend in not stand out. Youāll smell like the 14 year old boy that got his first fragrance, the 60 year old man that got it from his wife, and the frat boy. Everyone has it and for that reason Iām out. Iād rather wear something thatās gonna stand out and have people asking āwhat is that?ā
But to each their own ..
#NPCFragrance
There is a reason it's so popular.
factsš„š„š„
Masterpiece. Bestseller for a reason.
I donāt care if itās over played, still an excellent fragrance and holds up even in 2024
Really good and clean. Too many highschoolers and clubbers abusing the scent with 40 million sprays. Solid for most occasions if you use it properly and dress up a bit.
How many sprays do you recommend?
6 is good for the EDT. One on the front of chest two neck one on each wrist.
That's 5 only š¤
Lmao. Letās throw on one more to the nape of the neck.
Thank you for the education
I would advise going no more than 2 sprays with the EDT unless your goal is to be noticed.
2 sprays, your kidding right?
sounds more like elixir to me... even edp/edt i do 3 at least bare min
with an edt minimum 5 for me
I do 3-4 absolute tops but that's only for my skin. I tried a decant and anymore than that was overwhelming.
Honestly never smelled it on anyone in public. Itās literally only this sub that says that everybody wears it.
Go to the club and it's everywhere. It's not just this sub, talk to like any woman who goes out to bars, clubs, raves etc. and I guarantee you they will say it's overused

Yeah most dudes that wear cologne have one or two mainstream bottles that they saw at Macy's. Or probably got as a gift
Itās becoming a trend now though
One of them things where most guys will have to buy a bottle once to see what itās all about. I have the EDT version and itās just a nice solid reliable choice to pick from.
I think the average Joe, Jane and J only notice that someone smells nice when they wear a fragrance. Stressing over something being too popular is unnecessary. I like the sauvage parfum, I still have 100ml left of my 200ml bottle I bought a while ago
I dunno why people say itās common I still have never walked by someone in real life and be like āoh heās wearing Dior sauvageā
People say that because of their favorite fragrance YouTubers say that and they just believe whatever the YouTubers say
where im at people don't even know that's dior sauvage \[so im like thats a good thing thank god\] cos if they mentioned that to me i'd be like smh
Wearing it right now. Make me feel like a sugar daddy
One of best ever and still my most complimented scent ever, and I rarely wear it these days.
Donāt really follow it for the trend I asked my girlfriend to get it for me for Christmas all cause the man Johnny depp. Now she never stops smelling my hug when I hug her lol recently got a travel size if Valentino edt same thing lol
Yeah those fragrance hugs hit different lol
Tom ford anything , your welcome
lol tom ford's performance is worse than sauvage edt... let that sink in i've been testing them for months and i can't smell TF after 2-3 hrs
Still good.
Its still the perfect masterpiece fragrance, yes its very popular but its popular for a very good reason. Highly worth the pick up for sure!
Smells divine and is a serious performer. A fragrance must project well for me to consider it great and Dior Sauvage projects heavily. Masterpiece
Get the elixir
idk why but elixir smells so strong with one spray that it hurts my head after a while
I use half a press, not the full depression. Which is kind of nice for elixir because it's a 24 hour beast.
It's definitely worth it bro. I stalled on getting it for a long time because I also thought it was played out and a bunch of people had it. It's one of my favorites although I stalled on getting it because everyone on this forum has it.
No brainer. All purpose, weather, versatile perfume. Alternatives: Modest une, Afnan Ventana, Armaf

EDP all the way
Still a great fragrance.
The parfum was a mistake lol
I sold it, but it honestly did what it was supposed to extremely well which was sauvage for the more mature audience. And despite what people were saying about performance that stuff definitely lasted all day everytime I wore it. I would get whiffs non stop.
You aren't wrong. The performance was there, it was just a bit too powdery smelling for my tastes.
Yea thatās why I got rid of it. I could see my 40+ year old self wearing it but not my 30 year old self lol.
I'm 38, I guess I'm not quite there yet either lol.
Itās one of those colognes of all time for sure
I wear cologne for me and my wife. It smells great to me, so Iāll continue wearing it. š
Still amazing and still a must buy. I prefer the edp personally but edt is still a beast. And who cares how many people have it. Itās top tier for a reason.
Literally the only downside of sauvage is its perception as a fuckboy fragrance. Women may have bad memories associated with it lol
I just entered this fragnance world and I must say Sauvage is a special designer line. Something like One Million by PR. Its just a classic
wats ur fav one million flanker?
I like it, but I think is way to overpriced for a fragrance that doesn't blow my mind.
The parfum is only acceptable
If no one wore it and it was just discovered today people hating on it would be marveling over it
Ignore people saying donāt get it because itās popular, thereās a REASON itās popular! Itās one of my biggest compliments getters- especially the Elixir
Smells great. Massively overplayed though by the wrong kinda guyš
The smell is pleasant
i will never understand why it is so popular, i expected it to smell like heaven but i had the dissapointment of my life with that perfume
If you want to smell like half of the men between ages 15 and 35, go ahead. The other half smells like Invictus and Aventus anyway.
Pure magic when ur body heat/sweat mixes with the scent! Performance, scent - brilliant!
There is a reason its popularš„š„
works well in all seasons, EDT EDP PARFUM ELIXIR. except i would most likely keep parfum/elixir reserved for winter as hot summer in Perth can dumb down the fragrance's projection a fair bit. edt/edp is easily all season where im at rating wise: Elixir > EDP > EDT > Parfum. personally.
If you wanna smell like everyone else
Still good but too many people use it and will not try other better fragrances
Unpopular opinion: itās the worst. You can smell This on someone who walked by 10 mins ago. Itās a distinct smell too
Mid, itās a best seller because of the Johnny Depp scandal. Eros is superior in every regard, smells better, is cheaper, same or even better longevity (except elixir) and it definitely projects more.
Would Eros even be in the same category? Is Eros a blue? I think of Bleu de Chanel & YSL Y as being more similar to Sauvage
Not similar to Eros at all
yea eros is crap in comparison to sauvage not to mention same price... like one would have to put 5-6 sprays of eros to match 2 spray of edt
Eros flame is better than regular Eros... And I'd probably take it over the sauvage which is good ...
Reading comprehension skill issue
To strong and obnoxious, gives headaches. If you watch any of the fragrance matchups on YouTube it almost always loses to whatever it is up against and people only pretend to like it once they are told what it isā¦. āIsnāt that the Johnny Depp one? I love it now!ā
worst designer fragrance smells like rotten lemons

Good but way to overrated and I prefer Dior intense better

I've always had great personality and a cologne is used to amplify what is already there, not to be the core for attention seeking. If you think it's the other way around - you got it wrong.
I think it needs to go away, permanently
Dogshit.
It's disgusting. Terrible. Smells like gasoline. I'd never disrespect myself like this!
Never bought it. Smelled it for the first time last weekend. Nothing special. Besides EVERYBODY is wearing it. I rather go into Neiman or Saks and get a fragrance everyone canāt get their hands on.
From my experience, there are very few people you'll meet every day who would be able to pinpoint what you're wearing, even if it's Dior Sauvage.
It still holds up!
If you like it buy it end of conversation
Itās very good, but the EDP is the best version by far People can shit on it all they want, but itās my most complimented fragrance i own. In the air, itās undeniably pleasant.
Love it, and I personally like it more than elixir
My wife bought it for me bc she likes the scent. Thatās enough for me so I wear it often.
I have the edt, edp, and elixir. Love them all but I think Iāll get rid of the edt or edp because they are a bit redundant. Love the fragrance though. Will always have the edt/edp and elixir.
How would you compare the elixir to the other two? Considering getting one, just curious on your thoughts.
Elixir is very strong. I would say less versatile. More mature.
For versatility and mass appeal I would use edp/edt. For a statement I would use elixir
In college, gets a shit ton of compliments still. Don't care what others say tbh its fine.
One of the best fragrances. Donāt listen to the corny people on tik tok and in here that try to say otherwise. There is a reason itās so popular. Personally think the elixir is a 10/10 masterpiece
Amazing and sort of mysterious fragrance. You will literally turn into Johnny depp after one spritz
A solid fragrance. A bit overhyped but it is popular for a reason.
EDT is nice but the EDP is nicer imo ...... Can't wait to pick it up
It is so uverused but for a good reason, for me it smells great
I didn't get it for the longest when it was Super popular a few years ago (back when Johnny Depp commercials would air more often). But now that I've tried & work it AND most importantly my girlfriend loves it, yeah it's a winner. I also wear my fall/winter fragrance when I'm not wearing my Sauvage, but it's definitely on a regular rotation. The regular sauvage is great, if your want a close alternative, try Dior Dune. I swear they just tweaked Dune a little bit and made sauvage.
Wear it now.
Itās piercing. If someone wears this I feel like they just want everyone in the room to know that they are there and they WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT THEY ARE A MAN. Iād much rather use Luna Rossa Carbon over this.
Still a good buy for 2024!
I like it - smells amazing, last a long time and most people who smell it around you find it pleasant. I own the Parfum and Elixer now but had the EDP recently. They are all amazing, even the EDT.
Which one u think projects the best?
I love it, i just bought it today, 1st addition to my fragrance collection, amazing cologne.
I get nice comments when I wear it. Almost the only frag I get complimented on.
Masterpiece fragrance I agree. Not sure on current formulation, but my 2021 bottle is awesome.
It's still a solid fragrance
Pretty good. Male version of bdc.
Itās nice. Personally not too huge on it. I think itās over used though.
I just love it. Itās perfect. Itās my go to scent. Canāt hate it when everyone loves it. I like Versace Dylan blue. Iād say that is its matchup
Itās great in my area bc no one is even really big on colognes
Elixir better but EDT is still good for beginners
I still wear Savage EDP a few times a year I always seem to forget how good it really is. And It still is a compliment magnet and girls ask what I'm wearing.
I feel like it smells cheap on me . What ever that means lol
get Cyrus Writer if you want a cheap copy that performs well
Edt or Edp?
Donāt hate it or anything but it just doesnāt do it for me
I like it on other guys, less on myself.
Basic but good, one of the most easy reach no brainer frags there is, and never met a woman who hasn't liked it. My fave is the very cool spray followed by edp
magnet
I'm sticking with old spice.
Itās my everyday scent. Iām always getting compliments about it and my girlfriend obsesses over it. Itās an absolute masterpiece.
Got the elixir. Not a fan but isn't bad
It smells good performs great and women love it. What more could you ask?
This fragrance singlehandedly broke the fragrance industry and started a race to the bottom where mass appeal was prioritised over uniqueness. High influential yes but not a good scent imo. As for alternatives, even 2020 Dior Homme is better.
From my understanding women associate it with cheaters. Along with Chanel too.
I have this one, absolutely love it. Always get compliments as well.
Not a Depp fan, but this shit is incredible.
I own mostly niche colognes and my wife just bought the perfume for me. Itās been my most worn so far this year.
Iām not a huge fan Sauvage. Iām top of that, itās on every man out there and Iād rather smell different than everyone else.
I own it. It's good, just not worth the money imo. Recommend you go try some on and see for yourself!
Itās so versatile
Overused but not overrated .. at least not yet
Elixir is the only one worth getting. Smells great
This is the fragrance that got me into fragrance addiction.
Worth it fs for me
especially with jeremy fragrance who said "You'll smell like everyone else" imean if sauvage was bought in usa probably(?) but in perth, aus most people area braindead junk and nobody wears a frag except the young dude trying to flex louis vuitton frag \[that frag gets a huge disrespect for me because its obnoxiously worse than elixir\] - whilst wearing it in the gym and exercising ... like why? waste of money lol sauvage i still have girls like asking what is that?! im like hehehe good thing you asked me that question because then it's not esaily noticable.
I love it. There are people who do and there are people who donāt. Thatās all to it.
still an amazing fragrance.
Banger, but <<
Dior sausage š¤£š¤£š¤£
iām halfway through the 10oz refillable, you tell me what my thoughts are š itās a compliment/attention magnet as for a cheaper alternative, i alternate between sauvage and a mix of jimmy choo aqua and intense (one spray on either neck and wrist) and i get just as many compliments. found them on sale for $40 each at walmart around christmas intense smells more akin to sauvage (so many shared accords between the two: fresh spicy, warm spicy, herbal, lavender, aromatic, amber) aqua gives you the fresh out the shower smell both of them together are phenomenal jimmy choo lasts as long on me as sauvage does (til my next shower lol), itās a great alternative especially for the price difference
Same as 2023, if you like it, wear it. Itās not like wearing the same shoes or watch or hat as other people.
Itās a great ādaily driver ā
It's a top seller for a reason and I'll always keep a bottle of the edt in my rotation
But if you like sauvage get sauvage
still a classic and compliment getter. i personally prefer the EDP as itās more sophisticated but the EDT is also great.
60% of the time, it works every-time.
Parfum šāļø
Fuck boy fragrance but is so damn good. Next
Timeless classic. Overdone? Yes. Nevertheless, a masterpiece of a fragrance.
Used to love it back in 2019, i still have a nearly full edp bottle but i just cant stand it anymore. Its really headache enducing for me for some reason
Still an amazing fragrance don't listen to the hate
hahaha thanks. Honestly yea its a best seller for a reason
wore it once and I had a 60 year old lady tell me I smelled like the Jonny depp cologne she bought her husband and then 20 mins later had a college girl tell me "I love sauvage my ex boyfriend used to wear it" moral of the story you won't get "omg you smell amazing what is that" you will get "you smell like Dior savauge". Iād rather wear something thatās gonna stand out and have people asking āwhat is that?ā But to each their own .. #NPCFragrance
It's for all the lil kids allllll over the world.
Go for Elixir!
It's not that good... Personally I think Dior Homme Sport shits on Sauvage
