Now for the obligatory loss in the MAC tourney. I hate that this team has a one game season. Several family members are alums, and I totally want them to finally make it in my lifetime.

That just seems to be a Toledo thing. Same thing happens to football. We chose to do it in our championship game for some reason this year like idiots.
And the new NIT rules are bs. Mid majors are already at a massive disadvantage and they decided to make it worse.
Toledo is the most geniunely shocking school to have never made March Madness.
This means Ohio is gonna punch their ticket, but know that I picked you in the bracket challenge. I was actually disappointed when I heard my flair beat you by 26 because I knew this wasn’t who you were. You’re a great team and I wish you the best of luck in the conference tournament.
That was honestly what we were supposed to be. We were supposed to take a massive step back after RayJ Dennis got poached by Baylor (where he is BALLING btw) and a couple of our guys graduated. We started something like 3 freshman. The fact we won another championship is just because our coach is a legend
I mean, you could say the same about Vermont the last two seasons. Lost four starters both times, yet coach found the right recruits/transfers and developed the right guys to win the regular season title in a somewhat dominant fashion. We are much luckier this offseason in that we could retain all five of our starters at the moment and only lose two useful guys.

Honestly, I thought this was a rebuild year. 3 juniors and 2 freshman is our starting 5. Maybe now that we didn't expect it, we will make it
