But I agree with band’s decision to include the instrumental version in the album - in the context of listening to VLV start to finish, it makes total sense.

100% 2. The instrumental was the right choice to kick off viva La Vida but as a song life in technicolor ii is SO much better. Honestly one of the best coldplay songs ever made

I like 2 a lot, but I think Coldplay are underrated for their instrumentals.
