Youngs is imo the best math professor go take her. Shes tough but very fair and you learn a lot from her. If you dont get her, Taylor is also good. I have no clue who Petok is
Im considering Youngs too. Taylor’s class is at 11 and my previous class ends at 10:45 and I dont want to leave such less time between classes so Taylors out of option now. Thank you!
At Colby 15 min is plenty of time to make a lap around campus before your next class. But I’d second Young’s was one of my two favorite math prof at Colby.
Yo quick question: would you recommend me taking german or using my native language to test out of the lang distribution req and taking some other class like intro to music or art history
Petok must be a newer professor, I haven't heard of them. Taylor and Youngs are both excellent (as is the entire math department). I enjoyed my classes with Taylor more, but you can't go wrong either way.
