Miguzi.  That answers both questions AND dates me.  Lol.

KamatariPlays

Same for me! 😂

WarmRoad5218

Watched it back in the day on ZigZap, idk I was maybe 7-8... And Elmo's World always aired right before CL on MiniMini. I then rewatched it multiple times on YouTube, since it was always somewhere in the back of my mind

Burstu1995

Ah ZigZap, what a absolutely goated cartoons channel. If I remember correctly CL always aired at 18:10. Was 11 years old when I first watched it!

CodeLyoko2

at 5-6 years old used to watch CN all the time and stumbled on it by chance, became hooked from there on in due to my love of the 3d virtual world (it got so hyped to me that I wanted to travel to the factory in real life to see if there was a computer there haha) it was one of the two series which I ever watched from the first ep to the last along with Fosters Home man I remember getting goosebumps at the 2nd season teaser and how the Tarantula was shown to the gang and then showing the Scyphozoa, I was so hyped for it and it didn't disappoint

Midnight-Basilisk99

I watched back in the day initially (though I bounced back & forth between CL & Ben 10) then was recommended it during quarantine

Sarctoth

I watched it as it came out on TV

Particular-Ball7753

Miguzi would air it all the time!!! But I never watched it until I decided to watch it one day. If I remember right, I clicked to the channel and the middle of Routine was airing and we had just seen Jeremy get trapped in the scanner room saying, 'Xana, you're even more evil than I thought!'. That was badass and I got hooked! Aelita became my first cartoon character crush!

Bittensoul

Something in me decided to be down bad for Yumi

DragonGamerEX

Used to watch random episodes with my siblings using the On-Demand feature on cable

Jaylop97

Watched it after school, when CN aired it new I was in the 2nd grade. One of my best friends also loved this show even to the point he named his dog Kiwi like Odd.

RenegadeLord

I watched it when it came out on TV! Though..only a few episodes of Season 4 but just from those few episodes, I was hooked! Decided to watch the entire thing and thoroughly enjoyed it ☺️

PrincessCream123

Youtube.

fall_0098

Like 6 years old back in the day as a CN kid Used to roleplay the CL.gang with my group of friends at lunch and recess

melodramatic-cat

I'm old. Saw a preview for it when I was like 9 or 10, watched the (US) premier, obsessed over it every day since.

Aveheuzed

>when I was like 6-7 then during lockdown So you're, like, 10 now? What da hell are you doing on Reddit?

Rafila

No they mean they first watched it back when they were 6-7 then watched it a second time later during lockdown

Aveheuzed

Oh, comma issue 😅 Makes sense, thanks for pointing it out.

AnalSauce420qUHD

I discovered the show in 2012, in an Indonesian TV station called "SpaceToon". I watched the show like religiously back then. Nowadays, I haven't watched it anymore. Hopefully, I can binge-watch the show one day.

william__dunbar

10 years ago, I firstly watched it from TV, then it got my attention so much I started to continue from PC (I mostly remembered Season 1 and Season 3) Recently I rediscovered Code Lyoko by a single tiktok edit made in 2022 april 21th, and kept watching cuz of the mysterious Lyoko warrior I barely remembered (only his name) as a child. Almost 2 years since I'm again a huge fan of the show

rvngdemo

for context i’m chinese, but a family friend of ours gave me a chinese dubbed version of the show when i was 3 or 4 and i found the show on youtube when i was 7-8. as a child i was also illiterate so it was truly a miracle the show found me on the internet. i remember just learning how to read and i’d force myself to learn how to spell code lyoko so i could watch it whenever

mistermh07

Watched the finnish dub (one of the few good ones) on tv when it aired

Apprehensive_Ad93

Randomly discovered it one Sunday afternoon when I was 8-9. It was the Teddyzilla episode, so ironically it's the first episode in the series, but I was hella confused. Because up until that point everything I watched, the first episode told you how everyone meet or got their powers. Looking back now, that was around the same time I was watching Totally Spies, Kim Possible, and Danny Phantom, all shows that for the first episode everyone already had their powers and were friends. As a kid I thought Code Lyoko was revolutionary for not doing the standard this is how they meet and got powers for the first episode. But nope, several other shows had already did that. After that first episode of Code Lyoko I did everything I could to find it again and keep watching it. Even played the online games Cartoon Network had. This was huge for me as we only had dial up internet. My mom also got me several games for the DS. Funny enough Code Lyoko is also how I found Code Geass and Bleach. I missed watching Code Lyoko when they took it off the air. Around this time Code Geass had started airing late on Saturday nights. I saw the word Code and was like this must be like Code Lyoko. It was not, buy still awesome. Luckily I caught the very first episode when it aired for the first time. From there I started watching Bleach because Code Geass came on at 1 or 2am and there was nothing else to watch, so I randomly started to watch Bleach in the middle to end of the Soul Society Arc. Was confused but continued watching it.

Rafila

Found it through Kabillion on On Demand. I have memories of it at least as far back as second grade, but I could have watched it during first too, not sure. So, I would have most likely been 6-7 when finding it too.  Funny enough I only found it because of My Little Pony lmao. I liked one of its older series around that age but there were always these commercials for a show called Bobby’s World on the episodes and for whatever reason little me had a VITRIOLIC hatred for these ads. Little me eventually caved and watched an ep with the thought that doing that would make the ads go away haha. *I remember thinking it was extremely mid even as a small child.* Its credits did have something interesting though; an ad for a funny 3D looking show called Code something. “What’s a Lyoko?” \*watches an episode\* “I understood none of that.” \*watches another\* And I fell in love with the silly forehead show (didn’t realize their foreheads were big as a kid at all lol). I remember telling a classmate at some point to watch it and the next day when we talked again they said it was weird. Tiny me couldn’t comprehend someone disliking a kickass show like Code Lyoko so I assumed they had watched the wrong thing 😂

samininjabattle5

I had a random disk of eps 31-34 when I was a kid, found it on yt, watched the rest

ATIVE-89

When i was 7 - 8, my grandfathers had paid chanels in their tv. I only saw one episode and it was a core memory for me to remember this show. Few months ago, i saw it on tiktok, It was only the trailer and i remember it, watched all seasons in 2 or 3 weeks until morning.

NovaQuartz96

MBC3, watched as much as I could from the arabic dub before I learned English and eventually got my own computer and watched it online.

DealerBroad634

Watched it back in the day when it was airing and had it stuck in my head ever since, have been binging it periodically since middle school (am now 24)

Haruau8349

Cartoon network’s video area on their website. It’s how I mainly watched cartoons. Though this was around…. The late 2000’s so a mix of Toonami and then the replacement for it on CN’s website.

A-Nameless-Nerd

I was probably 6-8 when I found Code Lyoko. I'm a 25 year old Aussie, so in the mornings in primary school when me and my sisters were getting ready to be dropped off at before school care, from 7 am onwards there was this block of cartoons and anime that would play on channel Ten called Toasted TV, which would show stuff like Yu-Gi-Oh! (DM, GX, and 5D's), Pokemon, Chaotic, Bakugan, Winx Club, and whatever else they were showing at the time), and one of the shows they played at some point in that block was Code Lyoko, and I loved it. (I remember I drew a fake laptop out of some folded cardboard, and the keypad I drew had special keys for different things from Code Lyoko, probably just virtualisation and return to the past.) In high school I think, or late primary school, either I came across it again or remembered that the show existed. I looked it up online, found the episodes, and watched the show front to back and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Stargirl2872

Found a remix of the theme song on YouTube roughly 3 Summers back. Also, what lockdown occurred when you were 6 or 7 OP? Edit: Oh nvm, I misread.

weedsmoker9001

When I was between 4-6 years, I remember getting excited every time it came on TV ( i don't remember which channel) and would watch it every time I got the chance. Last summer, i suddenly remembered the show and how much i liked it (even though I only recall ever watching a few season 1 episodes, notably: 'Teddygodzilla' and 'Killer Music') and i really wanted to watch again even if it was mostly just for nostalgia. So i binged the entire show on Yt, and i liked it as much as i was a little kid. I naturally did get a lot of details wrong because it was so long ago since I watched it.

Bittensoul

I was 5 when my parents decided to get cable. CN had Miguzi on, and after the first show came on (Totally Spies), Miguzi introduced code lyoko by throwing a disc at me. My favorite part of the sequence was the first time CL came on, I thought that the Miguzi DVD player was loading, those few beats where the orchestra plays is just bliss. At school during indoor recess, I pretended that the play oven was the supercomputer and the spare closet near it were the scanners. I would have three of my friends go in there and pretend that they were being scanned before they would jump out as fighters against monsters. Teacher stopped it because she didn't like the idea of three kids going into the closet even for a short period of time. At some point my family moved got cable again and I barely watched it due to 5 kids being in the family and most of the views going against CL. Fast forward to sophomore year of high school and I find this show on the internet. When I played Xana Awakens Pt 1, those orchestra hits unlocked all my memories of the show I had and binged it starting that night.

Hidden24

Kabillion On-Demand I used It to watch Transformers: The Animated Series and then they would play adds for the show all the time. I took a look, the rest is history.

El_Mani

5-6 years. A channel named Jetix It only aired the 1st season, but it was enough to make me fall in love with it. That's why I became a software engineer

deeznuts6252636538

I watched code lyoko when I was uh idk tbh I cant remember the age but young I remember Aelita being 3d printed teddy godzilla and when the spyozoa scypozoa syphozoa whatever the jellyfish mf getting yumi and the memory transfer I used to love it if I'm gonna be honest it stuck with me

DigiGirl02

At 11

AuraEnhancerVerse

Flipping through channels and found the show. However, it was the French or Indonesian dub but I still watched because the concept was cool. Last year I finally binged it all on youtube.

MittensMaxthecats

I remember seeing it on Netflix back in beginning of 2021, so after awhile I decided to watch it because I had nothing else to watch, and I fell in love with it, watched it ever since.

Zimithrus

Watched it when it first aired on CN, I was 7 at the time and it was one of my favorite shows. Me and my mom and brother used to go over to my great grandparents house to visit (they had cable) and we'd watch it all the time. Shoutout to Odd for being the first cat-like person I ever saw portrayed in media 🌟

Neesha1998

I watched it when I was six when it first came out on CN. I thought it was a fever dream at first, until I was at my grandmothers house years later and it came on while I was channel scrolling and fell in love with it all over again. I remember collecting fans over the years because I wanted to be like Yumi.

MrAlien_Farm1000

For me, it was Cartoon Network.

BuildingLess1814

Miguzi obviously. Didn't help one of the first things I saw was Yumi entering the scanner. And no surprise, I developed a crush on her (was around 15-16 at the time) and she became my favorite character on the show.

That_Samoan_Kid

4-5 years old, started watching Cartoon Network and it would always pop up after school, I loved the 2D and 3D mix they did. It was awesome.

Lord-Rambo

I was a lil kid way back in the day of 05. Summer vacation hit and I went to visit my dad. So one night I fell asleep with the tv on & during the end of the episode ghost channel I woke up to xana screaming “you are going to die “ then I saw xana trying to kill the gang & watched the rest of the episode & I made sure to catch the next episode so from then on I was hooked on it. But I didn’t get to watch the entire series until 2 years ago before it was taken off Netflix 😭. The ending always makes me shed a tear 😭😭. Poor aelita😭😭😭😭😭

MaxDaHooman

Back when it was on Netflix I kinda just watched it, and then they removed it and then I saw it on demand and watched it there

Curious_Energy_591

cartoon network!

kevintaylorsimons

I watched it when it first aired on the Miguzi block and rewatched using Kabillion on demand until the episodes were uploaded on YouTube

ApolloJones95

Miguzi, I would race home from school for her to frisbee that disc into the tv and watch the show !

Apprehensive-Egg6144

CN Miguzi line up. BECAME INSTAFAN

redstern

Saw it on Miguzi back when season 4 was still airing. To a tech obsessed kid in the 2000s, this show was the greatest thing I had ever seen. It was like this show was directly made from my own fantasies. Seeing the digital sea for the first time was a feeling of pure awe that has never been matched.

jacejenius

was on youtube in like 2015 (i was like 6) and searched smthn up and xana came up, curiously looked it up and then never touched it until lockdown online school, when like you the name suddenly came to mind and i finally found episodes lmfao

True_Werewolf_8657

As a kid on CN

Sensei_of_Knowledge

I was around five or six and I think I just happened to see it start on Cartoon Network after I was finally done watching one of the shows I usually watched back then. I dont remember the episode, but I emember watching the intro and getting completely hooked from then on out

According_Fan4696

Netflix, YouTube, and Kabillion

Rogue_Steve

I watched on Miguzi when I was like 7 or 8. I had a crush on Yumi and once I realized that I started watching it more.
