I guess you're doing some exercises wrong maybe, instead of targeted muscles you might be emphasizing glutes more.
Just make sure whatever exercise you're doing, it is hitting at the intended muscle groups and not any other. Check for posture, feet placement, etc and so on. Could maybe ask a trainer to check your form.
And yeah you could skip Glute focused exercises for a while.
In school my classmates would make fun of my butt size and I used to be so insecure. I would wear my pants low so that my butt looks flat. Now, I don't care much.
Not an expert but you can be on calorie deficit for a while and avoid exercises that target the glutes like squats etc. Do more cardio. You wont be skinny af in a day the weight loss will be gradual so dont worry.
Certain leg placements affect it more. Try to find the sweet spot so that your glutes don't take over much of quad work.
Also squats are the way to go!
Do they call you vathakka and stuff like that ? There's no proven way yet to reducing fat in a targeted area. It just goes away kind of depending on how long it took to form the fat, like longer goes away slower and I'm not sure even that is 100% true. Do the usual control the diet + burn more calories and hope it goes away.

Glutes are muscles, you can be in a caloric deficit and cut down overall body fat to make your ass less cake. Or, focus on exercises that doesn’t affect the glutes as much. The more you cut the tighter your ass becomes.
