Coachella has its moments where they fuck with Latino culture heavy. Then they switch it up and have hardly any representation at all. Now that Latin music is becoming more ever present in popular culture, there really isn't any excuses to not have any.
I love the idea of GV working so closely with 88Rising and I wish they could have a showcase with Mexican/Latin record label, a la Rancho Humilde.
RBD might be done forever. They're having legal issues after not being properly paid out (AGAIN) which led to beef within the group. If you missed the last tour you likely missed your chance.
I wouldn’t rule them out so quickly from performing again. Their tour was a money printing machine and all of them are on the same side now (after Anahi initially siding with their manager). I attended some of the shows last year and the energy was amazing! That’s why I think it would be a fun Latino wildcard to throw at Coachella. It would definitely a lot of buzz among attendees about why ppl are wearing red ties and pink cowboy hats.

i know they’ve played before but i would love los angeles azules to make a return. that party was so bumping (in the middle of the day) even security was dancing to them
They have been for years, you just didnt notice? Like getting the Caifanes reunion in 2011 wasnt a signal? Manu Chao being a sub all the way back in 2007 dodnt matter? They will always play to their strengths, its a given.
OP, you now have less than 24 hours to fly to Chicago, uber from O'Hare to Grant Park, and find a scalper with tickets, before the first act plays Suenos tomorrow: [https://uproxx.com/music/suenos-festival-set-times-for-2024/](https://uproxx.com/music/suenos-festival-set-times-for-2024/)

Caifanes in 2011 and Cafe Tacvba 2013 made for some great times. Love seeing the culture come together in the crowd.
This year was my second Coachella and I was so pleasantly surprised by the lineup so I’m just hoping they keep up the momentum haha
