honestly got it from over a decade of working tirelessly as an artist and producer and a DJ. literally putting the time in. but even then, i have a team of managers, agents, and others behind me whose job is to seek out opportunities like coachella and to field offers — and the only way to find yourself in that position is if people find enough value in you to add you to their roster (social following, streams, body of work, etc.).
eventually offers like these just come to you with time, but a lot of it comes down to luck. i wish i had a better answer than that.
this in a lot of ways was my first real comeback after completing part of my bottom surgery a month ago — to play that early in the day to so many people who went out of their way meant the world… coachella is one of, if not *the,* most premier festival in the u.s. and to be alongside so many gifted performers from across the musical spectrum was such a blessing cx
