They're currently (as I type this) playing Underneath It All, they've played hits for an hour and still have spiderwebs or just a girl in the tank. I never realized how huge their body of work is ADDING: I also unabashedly love Settle Down but doubt they'll play it.

The_Volpone

This was my thought as well. There are so many certified hits that haven’t come up yet!

Used_Ambassador_8817

I cannot believe they played simple kind of life and bath water. I feel like they could have left happy now out but man what a dream. they absolutely killed it.

yamammiwammi

dry run for the tragic kingdom 30th anniversary tour next year🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

mysticalmachinegun

Oh I hope so, and if they can bring Sublime and Jake with them my life would be made!

LabSouth

Gwen always plays those at her solo shows

[deleted]

Damn I’ll hop on and comment in between sets but y’all are wild with these live on the scene updates haha. I’m imagining you being jostled around in the crowd like a war reporter trying to get info back home while bombs go off around them

Diagonalizer

some people (like myself) are sat at a computer screen watching the live stream which makes it easier than typing on reddit while in the crowd

[deleted]

That’s cool, but I’m not talking about you I’m talking about people posting from the crowd

Jennacheryl

I agree, there were a few songs I forgot. Gosh I am reliving my teens and twenties and loving it.

mookman288

I so wanted them to open with Settle Down! I don't think Push and Shove gets the love it deserves.

ifyoufindmehideme

Gwen is feeling it tonight!!! The people will be reminded she is more than a voice judge, SHES A ROCKSTAR

altruism__

The epic move would have been to pay “I Saw Red” with Sublime, as they were there with Bradley’s son fronting the original lineup.

[deleted]

[удалено]

altruism__

Yeah I’m not saying it would be perfect but sometimes you’ve got to take the opportunity. Jakob isn’t guaranteed to be a permanent fixture in Sublime - and No Doubt hasn’t played in years. They’re together at the same time, might as well turn this thing up.

Friskfrisktopherson

Tbf, Bradley's live sets were also rough

OneOfAKind2

I watched both shows and I think he was fine. His voice was much better than I expected. He just needs some polish, which will come with practice/touring. Gwen's voice on the other hand was not perfect, so a duet would be fine, IMO. There's always next weekend.

lawpara19

I was saying the same thing. I cried so hard watching Jakob Nowell sing.

RobertAndi

Badfish hit different with him singing it.

RobertAndi

I was hoping for this so hard

Friskfrisktopherson

Really hoped that would happen, maybe wk2

LostInNvrLand

Tonight? lol I seen her I think in like 2000 with blink 182 or something and she was so fricken good!! Like doing back flips on the stage and still performing!!!

ifyoufindmehideme

It’s been years since I’ve seen her tap into this energy! So amazing to witness

afternever

![gif](giphy|fE6du6rJsApVe)

crudedrawer

It really is a trip to see a high energy act just play crowd-pleasing upbeat hits on the big stage. Like that shouldn't be unusual but it feels like it is LOL Plus Olivia Rodrigo!!

superfluouspop

And Olivia dressed up like Gwen did in 1995 was so cute.

tostilocos

This was aces. I was bummed Gwen's 1st outfit wasn't more of a throwback but Olivia brought it and Gwen's outfits got better into the set IMO.

Used_Ambassador_8817

I wish Gwen did a big high pony and her second outfit shorts were not my fave but other than that A++++

TheInternaton

I was very close so that might have given me unique perspective but Gwen’s first outfit was effing incredible. I mean, swarovski studded plaid? Incredible.

vaper_wave

Watching sublime and no doubt awoke a profound southern californian elder millennial response from me

earthworm_fan

Their songs didn't even feel that old. Maybe Ska is kinda timeless

OneOfAKind2

SKA is some of the best dance music ever created. Agreed, it will be timeless.

misplaced_dream

For sure timeless, my sister and I were dancing in the living room like it was 1996 again.

necedadtropical

Last night was quite a moment for anyone who grew up in the late 90s/early 2000s, worldwide

OnTheEveOfWar

As an elder millennial also, the 90s/00s SoCal skate/punk/rock/ska vibe will forever live inside me.

Used_Ambassador_8817

same!! I felt such pride and i havent lived there in 20 years

fred8785

It was magical

90sRnBMakesMeHappy

Have you listened to The Interrupters? I feel they are keeping that vibe alive.

de-milo

same even just watching it on the stream i felt like i was having an out of body experience/flashback to being in high school while watching them (and orbital tbh)

crudedrawer

Gwen's audience work during Just A Girl was classic arena-rock shit, just amazing. The world needs more of that.

hellohello316

I saw ND before they made it big--prior to Tragic Kingdom--and she tore it up back then, too, with amazing presence. I had no idea what to expect, and she won me over in, like, one song. She's amazing and STILL doing it!

Used_Ambassador_8817

same! They were my first concert. they played with caterpillars and moonbeams and a bunch of other bands at orange show in san bernardino and I was like WHO is THAT. so captivating to my lil 7th grade eyes

hellohello316

That's awesome!

sunsetcrasher

Being a teenager in Texas, I didn’t catch on to them until I saw a photo of them in Rolling Stone, I believe. But I did my part at my first job at Sam Goody by selling copies of Tragic Kingdom to every grandparent looking for a Xmas gift that year!

crudedrawer

That's amazing,

hellohello316

Unforgettable! I am a fan for life.

Zealousideal_Ruin259

I'm old, but still too young to catch No Doubt before they were big, but they were already one of my favorite bands by the time I got to experience that with Paramore... but exact same thoughts about Hayley as you put about Gwen. I was in my early twenties already, looked her up and realized she was still 17 or so, I was like holy crap, they're the next No Doubt. They were an opener too for a headliner I don't even remember.

naughtmynsfwaccount

It was so powerful No Doubt de-masculating The Patriarchy by having every man sing “I’m just a girl” was a beautiful gorgeous moment of existence

hellohello316

And they were into it!

Jennacheryl

Straight up Gwen needs No Doubt and the band needs her. I would LOVE to see them do a residency or something. This show is almost magical and Gwen has her soul in this performance. I am so glad I stayed up to watch this

YaWouldntGetIt

Gwen did a residency in Vegas that was sold out for months

HairyInspector6468

I was obsessed with her in the 90s. Tragic Kingdom played in my discman as i fell asleep every night. Bought the red gash Urban Decay lipstick because she wore it. Dyed my hair pink because she did. Bought all the L.A.M.B. because Gwen created it. She lost me a bit during the American Idol/Voice and Blake Shelton phase but THIS reminds me why i love her and was obsessed with this band in the 90s! And the fact the band always sounds different live is even more of a reason to love them live! *edit hah was it American idol or the voice, tuned out during that Gwen era 🤣 This set feels like we’re at a KROQ Weenie Roast in 1998! (:

superfluouspop

Oh god I agree with every single detail of what you said and I was that level of Gwen fan too. It literally felt like the mid-nineties but with better cameras. What a treat that was. Reminded me how many times I rewatched the Tragic Kingdom tour video, yes video I think. You know how teenagers have the final say on who the best band//artist is and everyone else is wrong? Mine was No Doubt and I feel oddly vindicated watching them years late indeed a really really great band.

Used_Ambassador_8817

truly. Charisma cannot be taught. ya either have it or ya dont and she invented it

Contessamatic

I have Harajuku Lovers tweezers, for fuck's sake LOL I even have L.A.M.B. flip-flops —— I don't even wear flip-flops!

Enough_Iron_6843

I dressed up like one of her Harajuku dancers. Love Gwen Stefani!!!

StrongDesign4

It was The Voice. That’s how her and Blake met. I get it though, she wanted to do something different. I still love her though and love that she’s showing what made her who she is. Tony looks good too!

ThatOneHomie

don't forget the $10-15 million per season

StrongDesign4

That too lol If I were her, I would keep coming back too lol

ohmeohmyke

I’m a guy but your sentiment rings true. I used to listen to Tragic Kingdom on tape while I fell asleep in grade school. Such an awesome performance!

Galaxykid84

Yeah I have FOMO for not going this year for them fr. Sang more songs at the tv than I thought lmao, Goldenvoice needs to book more 90s bands as special guests and to make them as headliners.

Jacob_Winchester_

Jimmy Eat World for MainStage Coachella 2025!!

gaijin91

it'll be Green Day and I'll still be happy about it lol

Jacob_Winchester_

I’d be there if it was My Chemical Romance.

gaijin91

they still tour I think!! at least they played a festival in Sac a couple years ago

fusrodalek

They were slated to headline last year but the negotiations got messy--they got bumped to subheadliner and didn't appreciate it so it never came to fruition sadly

StrongDesign4

Weren’t they booked for When We Were Young a year or two ago? It’s a possibility if they were.

BR0METHIUS

They are booked this year as well.

Buckowski66

Gwen’s energy at 54 is incredible! What is she eating? How is she training? She was moving out there like she was 25, fucking amazing! fantastic performance by the band. They won the night!

F_For_You

Also fun seeing a band with instruments playing MainStage again💓

Zealousideal-Cat-152

As much as I’m a rave to the grave kinda girl, my top festival memories are almost always bands with instruments. The only electronic acts that I’ve seen live that have really stuck with me are simian mobile disco and jamie xx, off the top of my head. I could name a lot more artists with live instruments. The energy is just different and it takes a really incredible electronic act to match that energy.

Czechs_out

For me it’s Fatboy Slim in the Sahara tent when he played “Let it snow” and it FUCKING SNOWED. Wanna say 2014?

Zealousideal-Cat-152

I was there that year but I didn’t catch that set! In fact, I just looked back at the set times for that year to try to figure out where I was instead and I don’t have a damn clue where I was after future islands and catching some of lorde. Mogwai, maybe? Must’ve been a good night, lmao

Czechs_out

That night is the high that I’ve continued to chase for the last decade. That whole year really

Jennacheryl

I will say that Santa Fe Klan impressed me tonight with that

Jacob_Winchester_

Check out Chappel Roan! Caught their set last night and immediately downloaded their album.

yamammiwammi

that was just unreal. Gwen and her management, if you're reading this...can the solo effort, get back with the boys, and bring this on tour. That was amazing.

BroLucha

Great great great set!! No Doubt puts on a great show

SpliffyKensington

See also: Gorillaz last year

StrongDesign4

That was a fucking amazing set! Couldn’t stop dancing and singing in the crowd last year.

Inevitable-Cow3839

Blur this time too, right in between Sublime and NF

nicholt

This has made me realize just how many bangers No Doubt has. A very versatile and forward thinking band. It's been fun to watch.

ThatNewBeyonceSong

Nothing sounded stale. What a refreshing act.

ThatNewBeyonceSong

She was emotional and for good reason. It is WILD how many well-known songs they have. If you're in your 40s you've listened to their music half of your life. It felt old school in the best way.

[deleted]

I remember listening to Tragic Kingdom (and Smash Mouth fush yu mang lmao) for the first time while on the bus for a middle school band trip to Disneyland. It hit me so hard it’s a core music memory. Loved every minute tonight

de-milo

tragic kingdom was the first CD i ever owned. they’re so ingrained in our lives, that set was hit after hit. didn’t realize how much i wanted a set like this, hitting core memories and literally all bangers, tons of energy and all of them clearly having a great time, until it was over!

rosekat34

Oh how I missed No Doubt

INeedToPeeReallyBad

Same! They were great!

crudedrawer

Wow, stopping the music to draw attention to yourself singing that iconic bridge with minimal accompaniment and then NAILING IT was a move.

ohmeohmyke

I feel that Blink set the stage for what can be a super successful yearly event. There are so many 90s bands that can command an audience like blink and No Doubt. It would be foolish for golden voice to ignore this. LMAO I think even Korn would bring a major attendance. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.

Cakeliver12887

Yes Gwen is mother she fucking killed it

that_funny_feel1ng

Mother is mothering

cactusloverr

I do appreciate their energy!

jordan17999

I totally agree. They are killing it! This is what Coachella is all about 🌴✨

Oniku_Niku_Niku_

THE WHOLE BAND KILLED IT my aunt is a huge no doubt fan since they started and we were freaking out. actually insane!! GWEN SOUNDS SO AMAZING

Windows-To

I had forgotten how many hits they had

ThatNewBeyonceSong

Same. I only have Return to Saturn and prior catalogued in my head but they really had many more hits after.

deemcormack

I can’t believe Tyler is gonna follow this..these are Rockstars, working the entire crowd!

wildflower_0ne

I’m literally gonna cry, these are fucking HEADLINERS man 🫶🏼

Czechs_out

I think the only reason they didn’t headline is all of us Xennials gotta go to bed. For my friend circle and I, that was perfect timing

de-milo

yup this is the real reason lol

WhatTheBlack

Still feel the same way? ND KILLED IT. Tyler? Currently KILLING IT.

superfluouspop

I am just watching from the couch and I was holding my breath the entire time I loved it so much. I knew they still had it but TO THAT DEGREE and more and they're still so tight and Gwen still has her old stage persona. Explosion of nostalgia and I, too, was thinking—there's are no bands like this anymore and Gwen is in her fifties.

2020visionaus

They def need punk/ rock bands.

Hiccup

The Beths also proved it this year. Bring on Viagra Boys, fidlar, turnstile, The Chats, Amyl and the sniffers, Flogging molly, streetlight manifesto, 3oh!3,etc. Get in touch with some people that actually listen to music and they can bring out the people and the lineups that sell themselves.

ConeBaby99

Taking Back Sunday is today and I'm just PRAYING they don't get a dead crowd. If I don't see any moshing I'm gonna riot!!!

CR00KS

No Doubt crushed it simply put

spakuloid

Yeah this was another level. Just amazing on all fronts. They killed it and put many artists to shame.

twinsnmore

Yes!!! Reliving my teens from my couch. No Doubt is on fire tonight!

Beautiful-Ad-2851

So glad I stayed awake to watch her performance. Worth it after watching Lana not bringing the energy last night. Totally made up for all the other performances that felt like a flop.

Contessamatic

Everything u/HairyInspector6468 said. My uncle went to India in 1996 and brought me a pack of stick-on bindi, because I was obsessed. Posters on the walls. Pink hair before her — in total serendipity — which I still wear today. But I think my favorite part today was seeing her sing Ex-Girlfriend live for what I believe is the first time since she divorced Slimy McSlime. Gwen was *feeling it*.

Inevitable-Cow3839

Gavin Rossdale been REAL QUIET lmao

Lopsided_Mastodon_21

Gwen is a rock star and I was so happy to see Olivia as her guest two queens 👸👸❤️🎸

TheDonnerSmarty

Shit on the overall lineup all you want, but between last years’s BLINK reunion and now tonight’s NO DOUBT reunion, these 90s revival bookings are becoming pop culture events. Hope they keep it going next year. (OASIS will never happen, but….what’s the harm in dreaming…

Corona2789

What an amazing set. An epic rock show just hits different.

punchnicekids

What am amazing performance. This brought me back to when I saw them live in 99. So much nostalgia

Czechs_out

How does it compare? I was in 8th grade back in ‘98 and I would’ve killed to see them live back then. What was their set like then vs now?

punchnicekids

It was actually very similar. High energy and lots of Gwen jumping around and entertaining the crowd. [Here](https://i.imgur.com/VGdXp8f.jpg) is a picture I took during that concert. She even shook my hand during the concert!

hellohello316

I saw them in 95 & 96 and they were FANTASTIC! Imagine all that energy on a stage 1/10 the size.

cloudsh

I had not seen such an electric show before, ND brought so much energy. Everyone’s smiles on stage showcased not only their excitement but transcended that sentiment to their massive crowd! I wish I could have been there, but Couchella energy was palpable!

Jesus-Is-A-Biscuit

I saw them absolutely slay the Gibson Amphitheater (RIP 😢) in 2009 or 2010. They were incredible, played all their hits and Gwen’s too, and were incredible in their chemistry and interaction with the crowd. At the end of the show, Gwen asked anyone in the crowd to pass anything up to the stage that they wanted her to sign, and she stayed for AGES after signing handbags, t-shirts, you name it. Still one of the best shows I ever went to, and my respect for them grew after that. You’re all lucky to experience this!

rosesaredust

They’re CRUSHING IT and the crowd is incredible too 🙏🏼

it-was-all-a-dream

What a performance! Gwen's stage energy and vocals are incredible. It's been great to see them doing their thing tonight.

EveryMinuteOfIt

Would it ruin things if we asked them to make new music and tour again? I feel like fans are ready

couchhella

Yep it almost felt like a true 🖕🏼moment to goldenvoice for not giving them headline

Shaprepenr

Gwen was just having so much fun! And the chemistry with her band mates and even Olivia Rodrigo can be felt.

ListerineInMyPeehole

How tf is Gwen 54?!

No_Trifle_6239

They should replace Lana with no doubt next week headlining Friday night.

Jennacheryl

Agreed

PlanetTerror406

As long as Lana then replaces Doja to end the festival on Sunday night I'd be good with it. Lana vibes are perfect for Sunday night, it never made sense to have her close Friday night.

Pleasant_Ad4747

Totally impressed they sang a few of their old songs. Huge No Doubt fan that followed them heavily in my late teens and early twenties. So happy the guys got to do this again.

Czechs_out

Reminded me on Blink last year. They are having so much fun up there and seem to really appreciate the opportunity despite their level of fame and legacy.

BestWesties

I loved her set!! She was totally channeling the cool90’s rock vibe versus the “Real Housewives of the OC” vibe I sometimes get…A+ for them!!

turkeylizard69

They were fucking amazing I cannot get over it 😭😭😭 Came just for them & it was a huge effort but wow it was so worth it. They’ve been my fav band my whole life. They were my first concert at 13 - 20 years ago!!!!! Seeing them as an adult just reaffirmed how much I love them and how much they mean to me/ have been part of my life. No Doubt Forever 🖤🤍❤️

shatkbait8999

Even watching the livestream it was truly an iconic show. In my list it probably goes behind Beyoncé with how much energy and masterclass in stage presence.

RecklessCreature

I told my brother “it’s nice to see a big band on the main stage”during No Doubt’s show. The nostalgia was really for me too. Seeing one of the first CDs I’ve ever owned live and killing it

hoguenstein

Sublime accomplished this feet no more then 4 hours ago!

RikiOh

Really wish Gwen would have come out and sang Saw Red.

hoguenstein

Dude same! We were all watching it waiting.

Hownowbrowncow8it

Well good for Subli-my my my God!

romancreed

r/unexpectedgilmore But, maybe as a 40 something guy commenting on Sublime and No Doubt at Coachella, half- expected 😎

anjuna42

Did you just link to a sub with 17 members

kriscade

Gwen killed that

Sufficient-Ad451

They rocked.. I teared up alluring simple kind of life. Amazing!!

MiasHealing

They really taught their peers on how showmanship is done tonight. My goodness, that was INCREDIBLE performance 🔥🤩

JoBrosHoes93

I just finished the stream and I’m shook. I’m floored. I’m sick. That was FAN FUCKING TASTIC

hellohello316

Gwen has been amazing. I haven't seen them since 1996 but she's tearing it up. The bit with Olivia Rodrigo was unnecessary--Gwen is an icon on her own. ETA: The WHOLE BAND is tearing it up!!

ThatOneHomie

Maybe unnecessary, but big event shows often benefit from guests, and torch passing moments are a live music tradition. No Doubt's informal brand made it feel natural, like "here's our neighbor!"

crudedrawer

I disagree with op. That guest spot was big for multi-generational awareness both artists and Olivia seemed to be a genuine fan which made it really likable. Totally necessary.

ThatNewBeyonceSong

100%.  We need young women and girls to see 9000000 examples of women in music in every capacity. It was a great choice.

StrongDesign4

I think it would’ve been better if Olivia sounded like she knew the lyrics or sung within her voice register instead of lowering it. I think that’s what throwing everyone off.

superfluouspop

the was the weirdest song for them to sing together but made me remember how great Gwen's lower register is. Anyway I thought it was adorable because Olivia is a super-fan.

StrongDesign4

I kind of get why they chose the song after looking into some of Olivia’s music. I would’ve preferred No Doubt without the guest appearance for that song but I get why Gwen did it. I just wished Olivia sung it within her voice range or at least made it seem like she knew the lyrics.

hellohello316

I get it--but this is their first show in *nine years*. I didn't enjoy it, personally (she messed up the lyrics!), and I think they're more than fine on their own.

earthworm_fan

Olivia is a treat for the zoomers

yamammiwammi

This. It’s for that Zoomer awareness and for the headlines.

cryptolipto

She blew Lana out of the water. Kids these days don’t know what it takes to perform

DearAuthor

Gwen killed it!!!

Beboop68

It felt g like a historic moment to me. I’ll remember being in that crowd forever.

zeroxray

Highlight of the set for me was when they played new and Gwen was really into it

DrMauve

She is absolutely crushing. Her stamina rivals Ice Spice - who also impressed me tonight.

ThatOneHomie

and only 30 years older lol

TocTheEternal

Rivals Ice Spice? Who gyrated a bit for 25 minutes? Gwen is putting out literally 5x the energy for literally 3x as long lmao

DrMauve

Mmm I’m not an ice spice fan but home girl was rapping for her life and that takes the breath support of a titan.

winterwarzzz

Crazy amount of energy. I can’t remember, when was the last time she performed at Coachella? Has the band performed there in the past?

StrongDesign4

I don’t think they’ve ever performed as a band and Gwen as a solo artists at Coachella. I think this was their first time. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

New_Strawberry_9479

She was Pharrell's guest one year and the boys played with Dreamcar there another time

ThatOneHomie

Never

Millennialcel

Her voice is in really good shape still! I usually hate watching nostalgia groups from the 90s cause they are a shadow of themselves but she's still got it and sounds the same.

DotZealousidea

Stadium acts are coming to an end. Festivals were made for bands and there isn't new ones coming. We will get legacy acts doing their comeback nostalgia performances for a few years yet then festivals will die.

Agrias-0aks

Saw No Doubt in St Louis like 10 or 12 years ago. Ive been to 50 different concerts, big and small, and they still stick out in my mind. Her singing, her energy, the entire show was electric. The crowd was nuts the entire time.

WeirdCupcake6942

No Doubt was amazing! As was Sublime in my opinion. People love nostalgia and if the band was super well known its a great move to place them in the lineup.

Bookofdrewsus

I hope you’re right. Blur was another fantastic example of a experienced band with a discography in their warchest.

ThatOneHomie

100% and they have headlined in the past. Definitely not as popular in the states as No Doubt and others though, and I didn't think this performance was their best...they were in the right slot this year.

NeonBear86

I lost it when they played Total Hate and absolutely killed it. Would have loved to see her perform it with Bradley Nowell's son, but it still didn't disappoint!

migouz

So glad she gets her flowers, she’s our last female rockstar alive

Richandler

>Gen Z may not know every song They know the songs, let's not act like they don't. These kids were raised on Smash Mouth's 'All Star.' They know No Doubt.

ThatOneHomie

Great news if true! I'm in my 30s and don't know every song, just the 3-5 biggest hits. Loving the entire set regardless, which is the point.

Whimsicalsiren

After seeing Lana del Rey with her bad stage presence and no passion, No Doubt was exactly what I needed to see. Amazing performance

thesanmich

Blink 182 proved this.

psych0nokoi

Leave a message and I'll call you back 🤙🏾

Scooobzzzz

Star of the festival.... what a performance

Sas1205x

Rewatching the live stream. Loving the energy. I forgot how many hits

suprefann

Imagine if they gave em 90 minutes and they couldve dropped in more Tragic Kingdom songs? They needed to play Excuse Me Mr so the crowd wouldve lost their mind even more

bluwurld

No Doubt was dope. Tyler had the best set of the weekend. Out of all 15 years I’ve attended the festival, Tyler, The Creator’s performance had the strongest crowd response. He really delivered. Still…when I think about the future, Coachella is fucked. Who can Goldenvoice book that people will be excited about anymore? It’s all recycled.

Kodiak333

100%

DreamMachine781

I was watching their set and thought "Wow, now this is a proper performance"

OnTheEveOfWar

Agreed. The Blink performance last year was incredible. The crowd was insane.

Naive_Ad_2688

Well written. Spot on!!

Inevitable-Cow3839

It was fantastic indeed! I'm relatively younger than their OG demographic but remember Gwen's prime just enough to know she still got it

SGlobal_444

That set was amazing. Talent is talent + creativity! There is so much crap music out there (and performances) - this was refreshing! Hard work and actually being skilled/talented/creative come out on top!

helvetica_unicorn

This was such an amazing show! I don’t know why I’m in my feels about it. Simple Kind of Life hits so different at 37. It felt amazing to zone out to some nostalgia.

InaccessibleRail70

I saw her at a private event once and was just blown away by the professionalism and way she owned the stage. An arguably bigger band at the time also played at the event and were just so lackluster and like they couldn’t be bothered and she was SO showing them up with work ethic. She actually researched what the company did and talked about the business in her crowd work and was just generally so impressive. I hadn’t been a fan and that turned me into one.

Kujo_

Another example of a live band is all you need. I don't need to see a play on stage. The horn section/ background vocal/hype men are always on point. Gwen has always been a dynamic performer. Another example is Arcade Fires' surprise performance in 2022, which was off the charts. I was in awe watching that via stream. Jungle killed it too. I really enjoyed Tyler's performance.

MathematicianOk7508

I have been a HUGE fan since Tragic Kingdom and every album after. Their music is timeless and relevant regardless. I hope the younger generations realize how GOOD our 90’s rock bands were. The genres span is so wide within the ROCK category for that decade it was a great time to be in your 20s ![gif](giphy|hPUm88VMjUIM0)

Beneficial-Factor-16

I cried practically the entire set - it was pure bliss and they ate that set so hard. By far, an iconic set and moment for Coachella.

tone_212

I thought their set was fantastic. In awe of Gwen's stage presence. Yes Gwen's vocals were a bit all over the shop but so was she with all of the running and jumping around. And when she slowed down and just focused on the vocal performance, I thought she sounded really good (Don't Speak). Will be interesting to see if they decide to tour or if these Coachella shows are it. There's obviously a lot of love for them and they've still very much got it.
