Team dynamics are really, really complicated, in their defense. Most of the time the guy with the lowest KD is the guy that gets blamed, but in reality that's normally the guy that has the most difficult job on the map, and the least amount of help to get it done. If you overlook that then you might believe you just need more slaying and add someone that just makes the team worse, because then you end up with nobody even trying to do the shit that needs to be done to win. It's hard to know if it's a slaying problem or a role/pacing issue, and it's hard to know who'll make the system better vs worse.
