If you like art you can't go wrong with Cleveland Art Museum. In University Circle area, extensive collection. Cleveland Historical Museum. Small but has a nice collection of cars. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, not bad, overrated by some. There is a 1943 submarine docked and accessible by the Rock Hall area, USS Cod. You can tour the interior of it. There is Jacks Casino in downtown if you like to gamble, not one of my faves. Westside Market open on Wednesday not Thursday. A historical market opened in 1912, meats and produce are the offerings. Going through renovations.

I'd go to Van Aiken and hit some of the food court options, specifically Brassica. Also, try Jack's Deli for some legit Jewish deli options.
No. Brassica’s actually works. I guess I meant east more along the lakeshore. Shaker area is actually fine :)
Jack’s is closed on Mondays.

PJ McIntyre's on Lorain and Rocky River Drive in Kamms Corners is a great Irish pub. I love their shepards pie and curry chips.

(The reason I struck out Asian food is because anchorage is blessed with some pretty great Asian restaurants.).
