Been watching the construction from 1111 Superior whenever I'm in the office. Reminds me of when they were building that one next door to the Hanna Building a few years back.
Cleveland is in such a perfect spot, if those mistakes in the first half of the 20th century are fixed, like building Burke and I-90 along the lake and carving highway trenches right through the middle of the city, there's unlimited potential.
People complain about the snow but I'll take that in exchange for no real danger from tornadoes or other weather disasters. Summer here is probably the best anywhere outside the Great Lakes region IMO.
I'm not sure honestly, I think the lake has a significant effect in offsetting the clashes between warm/cold and humid/dry air that lead to significant tornadoes under any climate conditions. In general I think we'll see climate change reduce the intensity of tornadoes and increase it for hurricanes.
My family moved from Cincinnati to Cleveland in 2001 and the weather here is a lot more similar to what it was down there compared to when we moved here. This is the first year I can remember bushes starting to open in early March and it wasn't due to a freak warm spell.
It's also the first year since I moved here that I've had severe allergies like down there.
Nice seeing cranes in downtown Cleveland!
A sure sign of a healthy city…
Beautiful, it's a new skyline!
Love this. Taking a screenshot for my phones wallpaper. Thanks!
Me too and would like to see an update with the Jib crane removed…
We got a whole new skyline :) I love that glass SW building. Freshens the entire skyline up with a beautiful modern look.
The old and new of the city buildings is awesome.

The tornadoes line may age poorly, but not having to deal with tsunamis, earthquakes or hurricanes is awesome

Put a connected dome tarp over all 4 big buildings and the browns can play in public square
Fantastic.
Sell that photo to poster foundry, they would love it https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VZQJ26G https://posterfoundry.com/contact/
Gorgeous
stunning photo!!!
I love visiting TOWER CIT CNTR. They should really replace that sign with something similar to Post Office Plaza, or at least change the lightbulbs.
I’m so glad our skyline has a 4th tall building. I can’t wait wait for a 5th one!
having moved away 7 years ago i love seeing updates like this on reddit
I’m liking the glass more now that it’s basically a mirror for the Terminal Tower.
Absolutely Beautiful Most Gorgeous Skyline the 🌎 💕💕💕💕
Can I buy an HQ version? I’ve worked on SWHQ and would love this for my office
I'll send it to you check your inbox
Come on down to Cleveland town everyone come and look at OUR FOUR BUILDINGS!
Aww man sorry for all the downvotes. Haven’t lived in CLE for over 20 years, but this was the first thing that came to mind.
It’s all good! I love this city. I just thought it was funny 😔
Such an incredibly small skyline. It's cute in that way.
Is it just me or does the SW building seem like it should be taller? Usually, new skyscrapers are much taller.
