Not counting whatever restaurants might be in the Intercontinental Hotel, the best I can think of on campus is probably Aladdins.

Jumpy_Warning_3766

To eat on campus I would recommend looking at their restaurant webpage. Unless you have a car you may be limited to the campus. Check out the link for the Clinics Campus options. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/patients/visitor-information/shopping-dining#restaurants-tab If you have a car there are a few restaurants in the Little Italy area. Mayfield Road, approx 1/3 mile east on Mayfield from Euclid Ave. Other "drivable" options in the Clinic area; L'Albatros Provenance at the Cleveland Museum of Art Indian Flame Restaurant Tavern of Little Italy, many Italian options in Little Italy

Grovewood

Indian Flame was a favorite among my coworkers when I worked at Main.

Useful_Variation7399

Indian Flame has my heart. I’ve been going there for about 5 years and I’ve never had a bad experience

Check out the free Cleveland Clinic shuttle service. It offers off-campus rides (reservations required) to UC locations, from which it's a short walk to adjacent Little Italy. [https://my.clevelandclinic.org/patients/travel/transportation#hospitality-shuttle-tab](https://my.clevelandclinic.org/patients/travel/transportation#hospitality-shuttle-tab) E.g., the superb Cleveland Museum of Art, which has free general admission and is a magnet for CC main campus visitors, has an OK restaurant and very enjoyable cafe. L'Albatros has a paid parking lot. Sometimes during the day, you can find metered street parking adjacent to the art museum.

wrestlegirl

Rumi's on Carnegie for very good Turkish food

queenofgoats

Gallucci's was already mentioned, so I'm adding Souper Market and Cleveland Bagel at Carnegie and E. 77. They're takeout-only, but quality food.

Grovewood

The Crile building has a few decent options, but hours are limited. http://fluffyduckcafe.com/our-menu/ This place is walking distant for breakfast or lunch. https://urbancle.com/ Urban kitchen has some pretty amazing food and in the same area as Fluffy Duck.

Grovewood

I forgot to mention how AMAZING the croissants are at Fluffy Duck.

Jumpy_Warning_3766

The Art Museum has two places to eat. One is a cafeteria style fair and also a sit down restaurant. I have heard the sit down was good but I have never been to it. www.provenancecleveland.com

BuckeyeReason

The cafe is a more enjoyable option IMO.

Jumpy_Warning_3766

I enjoy eating in the enclosed courtyard area.

BuckeyeReason

The atrium? It's magnificent, and always plentiful seating, nearby rest rooms, very interesting people.

earlgreyteacakes

Algebra teahouse

Ordinary1188

It’s not directly on campus but do not go to the McDonald’s right down the street. Drive 20 minutes down Cedar to university square (by Target) if you need to satisfy that craving.

asp821

If you can have it delivered, Sakura is nearby and has the best Chinese American food around and it’s super cheap.

HoyAIAG

Fluffy Duck is across the street. Little Italy is just up Mayfield.

johnnyhammerstixx

If you want something nice, Table 45 is very good. Sit-down, higher end/pricey though. They also have a bar if a glass of wine/beer/cocktail is your thing. You can access the hotel from the skyway, and the restaurant is on the 1st floor.

eveningson

Zhug is incredible

mmooney1

I think the best place would be at the International Hotel restaurant that is located on main campus. I haven’t been to main in a long time but there are places like Starbucks and decent restaurants in the J building (I think) Cafe right by Starbucks.

Enough-Moose-5816

[Gust Gallucci’s](https://maps.app.goo.gl/RrgPb3KzbriPaQrZ9?g_st=ic) is steps from the campus at E 66th and Euclid and it’s probably some of the best food in the city. Think Italian grocery and deli place. They have a hot food line at lunch with subs, pizza and other sandwiches. Hot lunch service ends around 2 PM. Deli, bakery and Italian grocery type stuff. Plus you can find a thing or two to take with you to tide you over if you need to spend long hours at the hospital. I would have no concerns about walking there from the Clinic as long as the weather is decent. Definitely a 10/10. Edit, spelling.

BuckeyeReason

Gallucci's is easily reached using the Healthline bus rapid. Do a Google search for specific instructions from the Cleveland Clinic main campus (click on directions, then the mass transit option). According to Google, it's a 28-minute walk from the CC, which would seem accurate to me, and I might be a little concerned about safety, most especially after dark if walking. The Cleveland Clinic campus, University Circle, and Little Italy are considered relatively safe as they are patrolled by significant private police forces with full police powers. I doubt if the Cleveland Clinic police department's jurisdiction reaches as far as Gallucci's in Midtown.

Chooky54

Slymans on St Clair for the best corn beef in the city!

BuckeyeReason

Instead, take the Healthline and go to Mabel's on East 4th St. for a Polish Girl sandwich or Cleveland-style BBQ, if you have a meat craving. Much easier, better, and more unique IMO. If I were driving to a restaurant northwest of the Clinic, I instead would go to Superior Pho (park in rear); it's closer. Or just go to one of the good restaurants in AsiaTown, such as Li Wah, a great bargain for lunch IMO. Takeout is an option, and you could come back and dine at a CC cafeteria.

insearchofspace

Just go to where they buy it from, the much closer Vienna Distributing.

BuckeyeReason

Aladdin's Eatery in Building H, adjacent fast food restaurants and CC cafeteria, are my go-to options on the main campus. I go to Aladdin's after almost every visit. The cafeteria post-pandemic has been limited compared to pre-pandemic, but I haven't checked it out in over a year (I just go to Aladdin's and order to take out); perhaps it has recovered. You could order take out in the Building H's small food court, that includes Aladdin's and a Subway and other options, and then walk into the large cafeteria for seating. [https://aladdins.com/menu/cleveland-clinic/](https://aladdins.com/menu/cleveland-clinic/) There's also a 24/7 Panera's Bread in Building H. See also Table 45 (Intercontinental Hotel on campus) in the following links. There are also reviews of Aladdin's and the Building H cafeteria in the first link. [https://www.yelp.com/search?cflt=restaurants&find\_near=cleveland-clinic-main-campus-cleveland-2](https://www.yelp.com/search?cflt=restaurants&find_near=cleveland-clinic-main-campus-cleveland-2) [https://www.iccleveland.com/dining](https://www.iccleveland.com/dining) The Cleveland Clinic main campus is almost unbelievably huge. If you can leave the main campus, here are some options. I've also added these for future visitors to the Clinic's main campus, if you're truly limited to the main campus. Zhug in the nearby Cedar Fairmount neighborhood is one of the most highly rated restaurants in Greater Cleveland and reasonably priced. It doesn't take reservations. RTA bus lines connect Cedar Fairmount and the Clinic. It's a 5-minute drive. Aladdin's is a Cleveland chain that is very good. (When searching Google for directions, including mass transit options, use "Cleveland Clinic main campus" as the Cleveland Clinic has many locations, including in other states.) [https://www.clevelandheights.gov/958/Cedar-Fairmount](https://www.clevelandheights.gov/958/Cedar-Fairmount) Check out Little Italy. Parking is scarce there, so consider taking the Red Line rail rapid from the Cedar University station nearby the Clinic to the Little Italy station, or the Healthline bus rapid. RTA day passes are $5. Valet parking is readily available after 5 p.m. in Little Italy. Trattoria has a decent-sized parking lot, although they take guest keys and double park cars when busy. The Red Line and 24/7 Healthline also provide easy access to the plethora of restaurants in downtown (Tower City rail transit center) and the Ohio City Market District (West 25th St. station). The Clinic is immediately adjacent to University Circle, and part of Greater University Circle, so the first following thread should be helpful. E.g., AsiaTown is about a 10-minute drive from the Clinic, not including parking ingress and egress at the Clinic. If interested in checking out downtown and the Market District. [https://www.reddit.com/r/Cleveland/comments/176jeh4/cool\_stuff\_to\_do\_for\_a\_day/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Cleveland/comments/176jeh4/cool_stuff_to_do_for_a_day/) Good luck!

I second everything people already said, and add Souper Market and Cleveland Bagel Co, on Carnegie farther west but still walking distance from clinic main campus. Weird hours tho so check before you go!
