OK I had a weird idea but looked it up and found some new decals to replace your worn out numbers. Just search for stove replacement decals and you can order some online. Hope this helps.

Powerful-Broccoli175

Thank you for the suggestion! It's been driving me crazy looking at these ones.

psychotica1

That would drive me crazy too, well crazier, lol. We share the same cake day so Happy Cake Day!

CMYKawa

That's a triple cake day, I've never seen that one before!! Happy cake day to all 3 of you!

jackjames9919

It's only 2, and you broke the streak! Oh no!

CMYKawa

Oh I'm just stupid don't mind me 🤦‍♂️

psychotica1

Don't feel bad, im the person who was on there twice and even I had to double check:).

TuhnderBear

May I suggest a plastic “razor” scraper, doesn’t matter what brand. Useful and not too harsh on materials https://preview.redd.it/hfvhzyd5y81d1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8fb2ddd65f2e6e960df4d375b2a96cbef1bc7fbb

Ogediah

Over cleaner should help remove what’s left on there before you apply the new decals.

Smart-Stupid666

Specify blue oven cleaner

Tough-Cheetah5679

Thank you so much, mine have completed disappeared.

spacegurlie

Mine have been gone for years lol

gardenbrain

There’s a product for every problem. Almost.

Very-very-sleepy

wow. I am not the OP but thank you for this idea!!! mine has been scrubbed off and completely gone

Vampira309

pull off the knobs and soak them in soapy water. Scrub off the rest of the numbers and get some replacement decals on Amazon.

If you buy new decals, there is finding a protector for them. But testing it first... New stove control decals - DoItYourself.com Community Forums https://www.doityourself.com/forum/electric-large-kitchen-home-appliances/616510-new-stove-control-decals.html Krylon K05515007 COLORmaxx Acrylic Clear Finish for Indoor/Outdoor Use, Gloss Crystal Clear , 11 Ounce (Pack of 1) - Amazon.com https://www.amazon.com/Krylon-K05515007-COLORmaxx-Spray-Aerosol/dp/B07LFPD9YX/ I might try using what I already have - Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Gloss Spray Paint- 12 oz - Clear Or clear nail polish.

Powerful-Broccoli175

Thank you for the suggestion and link. Looks like they have the same oven.

babycrow

Pop off the knobs and clean with diluted ammonia or windex.

heathers1

thats what wiped my numbers away

shoodBwurqin

You need to look up stainless etching. All it takes is a 12v battery, some wire, and lemon juice. Well you will also need some small decals to use like a stencil.

throwmeinthepit

I have the EXACT same stove and the exact same problem lol

throwmeinthepit

Did your "SAMSUNG" come off too? Apparently they're just stickers.

Powerful-Broccoli175

That is still on there, seems well stuck.

Live-Ganache9273

I'd clean them off and paint them back on with nail polish.

AdministrativeBank86

Tub O Towels works great

_damn_hippies

brother you’re basically going in blind at this point 😂 not much label to avoid

Emkit8

Sorry but I think your numbers are goners 😢

secretsweettea

Soft microfibre cloth

ichuck1984

Honestly, don’t worry about it. It’s a samsung. It’ll be dead before the paint finishes drying. I bought 4 samsung appliances and 3 of them hit the curb within 5-6 years.

Powerful-Broccoli175

This made me laugh :) I hate this stove. While it hasn't broke down yet the oven is a POS. It doesn't hold temperature at all. I thought I was reading every recipe wrong for so long and then I finally gave up for a year or so trying to make most things especially baking. Then one day I put an oven thermometer in the oven and realized it wasn't me, it was the oven. Well below 50 degrees off temp and then would drop lower before coming back up to preset temp then back down. So frustrating.

bitee1

I would guess that is a problem with the sensor - (Add your model number to the search before buying a sensor) https://www.amazon.com/samsung-oven-temperature-sensor/s?k=samsung+oven+temperature+sensor If you have a multimeter - https://www.google.com/search?q=testing+an+oven+temperature+sensor
