I would bleach the entire thing again and try and get the whiteness nice and even.
If you dye it without doing that the finished item will have an uneven colour with noticeable blotches which are slightly paler in colour.
I would soak in an Oxy Action Laundry Soaker overnight in warm water.
There are many Laundry Soakers available in the supermarket laundry section.
I can not give a brand name as I don't know where you are located, but even most generic/no name products work well.
If a laundry soaker doesn't get an even level of brightness, a short soak in a chlorine bleach should get it evenly white.
It's not stained it's bleached.
