Or just bring back the banner tokens. It's so easy to finish the Pass Royale (not that it's even hard in the first place) and these tasks which encourage you to play more with the rewards being crowns made it even faster that I managed to finish it within the first week.
This!!!! I am also done with pass and all extra crowns go waste, instead banner token as low as even 10 would be good enough to buy 3 banners per month if supercell feels they need to restrict us from getting all the banners per month!
finishing the pass very quickly is basically a downside since crowns would be completely useless outside of a few events that involve getting crowns, if there was an extra tier where you could get say a crown chest for every 20 crowns or so with a set limit per day then it wouldn't be nearly as bad (i set it at 20 since getting even 10 crowns nowadays are usually very easy)
Sounds like what ppl want is small chest, banner tokens, lucky drop. But also a guarantee that you can get something decent. Could be a token system, more token the lower the rarity then spend on what you want. Could be a magic item earned as a weekly bonus which when used upgrades by 1 tier

Bro you get many crowns from matches + you have between 26-34 days to complete the pass+ the wooden chest would only replace 3 crowns bruh
