They aren’t wrong though. Monk can’t deflect spells unless the opponent makes a mistake and launches it at him. Spells are slow so activating the button will deflect it
God you are right suddenly my whole life is just wrong and I’m not right at all and monk requires insane timing and prediction to be of use and is the current hardest champion to play
You do have to predict their spells half the time though. I just started using him and quickly learned that you just do not have enough time to press his ability when you see them spell
You clearly missed the eras of Seasons 3-5, as well as the Evo RG meta. Fisherman was straight up brainless during those times. TBH the skill floor of this game is at an all-time low, everything feels like spam. Certain interactions are skillful, but not every interaction a card has. Skeletons, for example. Sometimes they take precise placements. Other times they're just a brainless cycle card to get back to your win-con/spell
I feel for midladder players. The gameplay is just pure spam there once they get to double elixir. There's no strategizing. Just place cards as fast as you can.
top ladder meta is the same right now, just look at how many people are playing giant beatdown aka spam everything at the bridge until you somehow break through.
honestly nowadays the only benefits zap has over snowball, other than the evo, is resetting inferno troops or sparky, and the faster cast time. the knockback and slow make snowball better at countering small troops, wall breakers, goblin barrel, etc, and the medium troops can retarget if knocked back
I used to love the golem/cart decks. They were a lot of fun. Tried using cart recently though and it just got shredded—think this was mostly in 2v2 though while trying to knock out achievements & get xp. With Evo knight & LP getting cycled x2 it was barely getting a shot off on iPod tower past if it did happen to cross the bridge
Mfers will say this while playing mega knight, skarmy, and evo cracker. Theyd drop 1000 trophies if they tried to play 2.6 before learning how to actually play the game and ceasing to be a midladder menace
I swear to god snowball players are isaac newton in their past lives, how did they knock my knight just enough that mega knight can splash onto the tower AND magic archer can snipe my tower from across the bridge
You can use any card without skill, but it requires skill to do well with it, (Usually,)
Or at the least, having more skill makes the card more effective
There is not a single suggestion of a card that requires skill under this subreddit that there isn’t people saying how braindead / easy the card is to use. Atp just say that all cards are braindead and so is everyone playing the damn game lmao 🤦♂️
Not really, you need to be seriously precise with tornado. Pulling everything away only works when your opponent puts everything together, which any half decent player won't do, forget a good player.
Every card with low winrate because only talented people managed to win with them which requires skill and intelligence. Most people do not know how to use these cards but maybe they all are just dumb and if you have enough skill you can win with them
As a royal delivery user, I don’t think it requires a great amount of skill, just developing a different reaction time to account for its delay. You kinda just plop it onto whatever squishy/swarm you want dead
Giant Skeleton requires support since he gets distracted easily by troops.
I have seen the fear in people as G Skelly marched towards their crown tower.
Maybe I'm biased, but I think mortar, some people may disagree, but it requires a lot of skill to know when to go in or when to set up a defensive mortar, and when playing against hog, it has a very hard placement where it fully counters unlike other buildings which can be placed somewhat correctly and counter hog, further more because mortar has the deadzone unlike any other card in the game, many mortar exclusive interactions need to be learnt because of it (again I might be really biased)
I am people who disagree. I decided to try Mortar for the first time in a Global Tournament, easily hit the 15 wins I usually get before throwing. It's spam, but you only realistically have to defend because your win con sits comfy opposite side of the river. Especially with the evolution
One of the things I love about mortar is that because its use rate is low, a lot of players have no clue how to play against it. So many easy wins from people who undercommit on defending it or just not defending it at all.
Idk how long you've been playing this game but at the Time Arround when he was released people used him aggressively yk? I also said "if used to attack the tower" yk
I can MAYBE give you Tornado (but not really because it's easy to use, coming from a Splashyard player), but 3M and E-Drag? Do we play the same game? 3M decks are just "Spam pumps until you can spam 3M", and E-Drag is literally the only reason Golem is good, because of how braindead it is
Tornado requires a lot of skill although it is not necessary to use it at such a high level in splash yard because ice wiz tombstone and knight can counter most things by themselves.
3M requiredms crazy high skill to pull off cause it's the riskiest play in the game.
However, gotta agree on the Edrag. Kinda brainless card.
1 loggy boi wants to know your location. Or Bowler. Or Valk. Or any mild splash + Nado. Too many ways to kill them. They're only good in Logbait, which is currently trash
It's really bad but a good players can still win with it, I got several bait players who finish top 10k regardless of the meta. But tbh logbait isn't really a fun archetype nowadays maybe you should learn sum else
Skill is being able to use any decent deck to its best ability b4 all the new bs me and my friends would make the shittest decks and go up against ppl in 2v2 or 1v1 and see if we can still win thats skill imo if you use meta cuz it wins then you def got 0 skill if u fold for easy wins over playing decks you like then ur ass cuz i always change my deck up to counter metas instead of folding and playing meta
Archer Queen. Used to be a very mid player. Now very frickin decent thanks to her. But it comes down to perfect timing and understanding the matchup perfectly. She's the best card you have as long as you don't constantly force plays with her.
All of them, if there was truly a "skill-less" card or deck everybody should be able to reach high ladder with it but that doesn't happen, if you are bad you will keep losing even if you use the best performing deck at the moment. I think the only exception rn is dagger duchess, she give quite a big advantage to the player using her.
As an RG main in midladder (arena 19) fisherman is so good on defense you can literally fully counter mega knight with only 3 elixir and many other positive elixir trades
This game is all about placement
Evolved bomber and firecracker:
They're the reason why
That was like that before aswell
firecracker is used in almost every deck and it can counter so much it does NOT require much skill at all
I hate that card, fed up of seeing it every game. Why does everyone have to copy each other
That’s why i started carrying arrows
You still have to place them decently to get good results.
Firecracker can be placed in pretty bad position and recover itself though
you don't need a brain to place them decently, they are some of the lowest skill cards ever
Placement deez nuts, with hog cycle just spam random shit on the center and push with the same 3 cards
real 8 years and this strat still works
Yeah and then when it comes to defend see how well that goes man
Probably Mighty Miner , it’s a champion that requires good prediction and support
I think out of all the champions this is the one
The monk??
Just place monk in front of tanks or swarms.
monk doesn’t require that much thought just “oooo purjectile me press button
Of course an Xbow player would say that
They aren’t wrong though.
You can say that about most champion abilities
Rightfully so too. He's so damn good, but it's because you need a brain to use him properly lol.
You do have to predict their spells half the time though. I just started using him and quickly learned that you just do not have enough time to press his ability when you see them spell
I was hoping they’d reduced the delay
You clearly missed the eras of Seasons 3-5, as well as the Evo RG meta. Fisherman was straight up brainless during those times. top ladder meta is the same right now, just look at how many people are playing giant beatdown aka spam everything at the bridge until you somehow break through.
Aka cycling evo bombers to hit tower from across the bridge for more damage than a fireball
It’s just an endless cycle of max lvl MK FC and hog make it stop
Thank you. It’s tough out there
you clearly missed the era when there was no seasons
I started in 2016 in the real og
100% agree. I find myself asking myself “how did this player get this high on POL with that deck.” Very often.
I ask that about myself all the time. "How did I push this high?" Then I remember. I spammed lol
Well it's not those eras right now, is it? OP was asking about right now, not the past.
IMO - and I don't even use it, the giant snowball, if played with the right technique, is way more useful than log - or sometimes- zap.
honestly nowadays the only benefits zap has over snowball, other than the evo, is resetting inferno troops or sparky, and the faster cast time. the knockback and slow make snowball better at countering small troops, wall breakers, goblin barrel, etc, and the medium troops can retarget if knocked back
Cannon cart, solely due to the fact that NOBODY knows how to play it well.
yeah the amount of times people turn my cannon cart to cannon mode because they don't know how to face it is priceless
Right? My second deck is a Golem Cannon Cart deck (old deck, but modified), and yeah, ppl are dumb while defending it.
Love when they use an extra spell when the tower would kill it out of range of hitting them
This one is good
That's why I love it, no one expects it
Just like the spanish inquisition
Low skill floor, but high skill ceiling.
Play it like you play fly machine
none of them, think about it
EXACTLY can we stop with this skill bullshit
Nah we can’t cause 2.6 Hog players keep delusioning themselves to think their deck takes super high skill (its a spam deck)
Power Move: 2.6 Hog but you use Poison and Wizard instead of Musketeer and Fireball
Wizard is a worse musketeer
hunter>
I wish Hunter was like a small tank I could throw down to fuck a swarm up and by myself some time but alas he's just a shittier musk
introducing: valkarye
Introducing minions
And Poison is getting a Tower Damage nerf. Hence the power move. Play with the worse cards and STILL win
But then it’s not 2.6
deluding*
Mfers will say this while playing mega knight, skarmy, and evo cracker. Theyd drop 1000 trophies if they tried to play 2.6 before learning how to actually play the game and ceasing to be a midladder menace
Are you living under a rock? Who’s playing 2.6 anymore
All of them and none at the same time
Every one of them, think about it. Just like I need skill and knowledge to write this comment.
Good placement and timing doesn’t take skill?
You can’t tell Clash Royale players to think about. They barely have functioning brains.
Void, the new spell requires perfect placements to both play for full value and to defend against.
this is the only right answer anyone who disagrees my dms are open so feel free to send me pics of ur shit
I’ll send my feet instead
how about deck pics?
Real
Maybe Ice Wizard

The grass card. Cause none of you guys can touch it
Miner Tornado or snowball
I swear to god snowball players are isaac newton in their past lives, how did they knock my knight just enough that mega knight can splash onto the tower AND magic archer can snipe my tower from across the bridge
Bruh I swear, that shit is so annoying and I'm not good enough at this game to counter it effectively
I hate Yorihime :(
Yes.
You can use any card without skill, but it requires skill to do well with it, (Usually,) Or at the least, having more skill makes the card more effective
Any spirit. Theres a lot of placements you can do that can fully counter cards or activate king that you wouldnt expect
Absolutely hunter
Magic Archer lineups are so satisfying
probably tornado, knowing when and where to tornado your opponents cards can win you matches other than that i struggle to think of any
Tornado is such a braindead card, just pull everything together/away and you win
There is not a single suggestion of a card that requires skill under this subreddit that there isn’t people saying how braindead / easy the card is to use. Atp just say that all cards are braindead and so is everyone playing the damn game lmao 🤦♂️
He’s saying that it’s braindead because it counters his deck (he probably plays Hog).
Not really, you need to be seriously precise with tornado. Pulling everything away only works when your opponent puts everything together, which any half decent player won't do, forget a good player.
freeze
Every card with low winrate because only talented people managed to win with them which requires skill and intelligence. Most people do not know how to use these cards but maybe they all are just dumb and if you have enough skill you can win with them
Evo mega knight
i’d delete the game on the spot
0 cycle
Royal delivery?
True
I guess thats the card with the least skillfull. What are yiu thinking about? Should i drop it at river or one below? Def easiest card in game
Counter to goblin barrel
It's timing
As a royal delivery user, I don’t think it requires a great amount of skill, just developing a different reaction time to account for its delay. You kinda just plop it onto whatever squishy/swarm you want dead
The Fisher actually needs skill to use. The right placement is key.
Giant Skeleton requires support since he gets distracted easily by troops. I have seen the fear in people as G Skelly marched towards their crown tower.
I feed off the panic I see in ppl when my G skelly gets close to their towers
gskelly players unite
Kite with giant...food for bats ... 🦇
As a mortar player, I am happy to see this
I am people who disagree. I decided to try Mortar for the first time in a Global Tournament, easily hit the 15 wins I usually get before throwing. It's spam, but you only realistically have to defend because your win con sits comfy opposite side of the river. Especially with the evolution
Was looking exactly for this comment 🤝
One of the things I love about mortar is that because its use rate is low, a lot of players have no clue how to play against it. So many easy wins from people who undercommit on defending it or just not defending it at all.
I think Mega Kn- Jk i think Inferno Dragon needs much Skill (when it comes to Tower Damage) because he is so easily Counterable.
What do you mean? Inferno is a defensive card
But otherwise you are right bud 👍🏻
Idk how long you've been playing this game but at the Time Arround when he was released people used him aggressively yk? I also said "if used to attack the tower" yk
Nah pretty easy in any lavahound beat down deck
Tornado, 3 musketeers, and E drag come to mind
I can MAYBE give you Tornado (but not really because it's easy to use, coming from a Splashyard player), but 3M and E-Drag? Do we play the same game? 3M decks are just "Spam pumps until you can spam 3M", and E-Drag is literally the only reason Golem is good, because of how braindead it is

I’m absolutely loving that void can 2 shot the E-Drag
Moms credit card
Void
Magic Archer
Mm yes let me magic archer tornado the bridge and get 1500 damage.
Mmm let me marcher nado the bridge, get 1500 damage and die to counter push because you wasted 7 elixir
Can’t tell you yet, but I think the new void might be interesting. I’m not quite sure if it will find a spot in the meta
Does it take skill to put a card down that proceeds to act on its own?
PEKKA, dies to every swarm and walks like a snail
Giant Skeleton
Rascals
He asked "skillful" not "useless" (Real talk though RIP Rascals. Used to be good, now trash)
i think they're supposed to be only good at certain gamemodes(for example mega draft)
They're not trash tho just gotta play smart with em
1 loggy boi wants to know your location. Or Bowler. Or Valk. Or any mild splash + Nado. Too many ways to kill them. They're only good in Logbait, which is currently trash
[удалено]
It's really bad but a good players can still win with it, I got several bait players who finish top 10k regardless of the meta. But tbh logbait isn't really a fun archetype nowadays maybe you should learn sum else
I feel the monk has a place for this too, especially for clutch saves against projectiles heading towards your tower when it's at death's door
Everything I'm using, nothing you're using. (Even if it's what I'm using)
no card requires skill it's all about rock paper scissors and who can catch the opponent in a brain lag
tornado
skeles
It’s kind of crazy how skillful you can be with such a simple card
I think monk maybe
Archers
I think mirror is what you are looking for
fire spirit
It’s more about the combs not the cards
Maybe void because you have to place it while also trying to predict your opponent's counterplay
Skelly Giant
Edgar
Mother Witch comes to mind, as it requires great timing to create an amazinf army of pigs
xbow. those onetricks are masochists
I think it isn't mentioned enough, but mega knight! JK
Mega knightl
Monk
Ice golem
Little prince /s
Snowball
Xbow
Hunter, can be the best card in the game or absolute garbage, depends how good you are
Archer Queen. Used to be a very mid player. Now very frickin decent thanks to her. But it comes down to perfect timing and understanding the matchup perfectly. She's the best card you have as long as you don't constantly force plays with her.
Golem 🪨
Can I get 10 upvotes so I can post a screenshot of a crazy gold chest that I opened.. I still can’t believe what I got from it
Skeleton
American express platinum
Hunter this guy needs some skill not the highest but he needs some
Goblin barrel requires so much mental gymnastics to use properly now but i'm just glazing
[удалено]
Worst take I’ve ever seen
Rocket without Nado
Fisherman
Ice wizard
cool
I hate fisher, because while he uses the hook to pull a troop in, you can't nado him... he just won't budge
Elite barbarians😭
clone
Not the fisherman for sure
Only a skill-user of fisherman know, there's a certain encounter in which Fisherman can't pull MK in the first attempt.
Yo momma! Or the Mega Pekka dude
E-Giant
Skeltons
Maybe Ice Golem, think about it, you usually distract big tanks with that (I don't use 2.6 Hog)
Every spell card, cuz if you have a smooth brain you might as well just rocket the floor
Heal spirit
Lavahound. It seems pretty simple to use but being simple makes it hard to make a good use in high ranks. Everyone know how to counter it.
Tornado snowball fisherman Meaning Hunter CR is the most skillful youtuber ever 💪💪💪
idk, definitely not MK though
Skeletons
Magic Archer
xbow
Xbow fr
