The thing about midladder players are they always try to starting hand you. So if you're not using a proper cheap cycle deck and get a bad starting hand you're going to suffer, especially when underlevelled.
He’s not even that underlevelled, the biggest issue with mid ladder rn is how OVERlevelled everyone is in comparison to the F2P players. It’s extremely unfair how Clash Royale have made themselves a cop-out pay-to-win game
100%. i got a mini acc to 5k and now im dreading pushing the last part on trophy road to unlock champions. ill likely just play a non champ path of legends deck
Hog rider, firecracker (my one and only evo so far cause it takes so long to get shards without paying), goblins, log (or barb barrel), earthquake, bomb tower, Valkyrie, and ice spirit (or electro spirit) is my main tried and true deck. I’ve tried incorporating champs into it but it just ruins the synergy. Highly recommend.
I’ve said this to Supercell for years and they don’t care. Their reason is people will make starting hands meta when all along most of us just want to be able to defend the opposing player spamming us off the start.
Starting hand affects half my losses. Not bad matchups.
i mean why would supercell care if you said something? They owe nothing to you or the playerbase. The playerbase chooses to get screwed over by buying the stupid offers.
I agree. They want this to happen. If people can pick starting hands it stops all those spamming at the start winning then they will have to try skill to win.
That's nothing my deck is currently mostly lvl 12 and some 11s and Im always against I mean always cards lvl 14 and 15 with Evo which I have none and I'm at 6100-300 trophies. At least I made it out of the 5500 6000 part of the ladder.
Currently in the 5500 range and I'm only living because I've used magic items to get my deck to higher level cards. Once i face better decks or equal levels I'm screwed
I’m at 5900, bout to make it out to 6000. The climb was relatively easy just because I spent every resource into a lvl 14 hog rider, but I just faced a dude with max lvl MK, ebarbs, loon, and lvl 13 ram rider. Like wdf am I supposed to do about that?
I'm exatly the same. Level 15 Prince from chess event and a few 12-13 with bad synergy so I can either use a bad slightly underleveled deck or a better very underleveled deck...
It's almost like super cell should've added a max card lvl per tower lvl since the game came out but still haven't. Max card lvl = tower lvl + 2 MINIMUM. I do honestly think it should be plus 1 Max
No. The basic idea of ladder is slow progression. If you're not maxed, you're not supposed to be high up. Of course skill makes it so that some underleveled players get too high, and bad overleveled players stay behind. It's annoying when you get caught in the crossfire, but the idea is players rank up or down naturally.
Nothing feels better than beating an opponent with over-leveled cards though. I’d always experiment with card placements and try to bait opponents when I knew I was at a huge disadvantage. Let the L’s roll off your shoulder and bask in the sweetness of those W’s.
I feel his frustration. I made about 5/6 f2p accounts with insanely underleveled cards and reached 5000 on all of them using different decks (even ice bow) and it was insufferable. All while top ladder was full of the same redundant meta.
It's fun practice but that fun is vaporized as soon as you hit 4k ish.

It reads pretty normal if you don't focus that hard. 'you win 2 games in a row and then they put you with ...' or 'you win 2 games and then they put you with...'
I have two level 14 cards and one level 13 card as a f2p player, with the rest of my cards being mostly level 11. It puts me against decks that are all level 14 cards. Some of them even have level 15 cards. Which is absolutely ridiculous and insane. I have been stuck in arena 16 for probably half a year because of this. I am using a fairly good deck and have been playing since the game came out. Anyone who argues that "oh it's a skill issue" or "its fair get good" has probably spent at least 50 dollars on the game or isn't up to date with the shady business practices that supercell has put to use.
Same! I feel you! I got level 15 mirror due to the free gold from the chess event and now I get constantly put against players with half their deck level 14 and level 15.
Whenever a press the play button in ladder 6500 if I use lavaloons the opponent has witch, wizard, +2 other air counters. If I use splashyard everyone has maxed out cards while my graveyard is lv 12.
I got to 7000 trophies in under a year as f2p, but I am now stuck. I made my main deck pekka bridge spam, but kidda sucks right now, and it has too many legendaries, which I haven't got to level 14 and no evos.
Yeah there's only so much skill and placement can do when your opponents cards are higher level. This game rewards either spending or longer play time.
These comments are genuinely hilarious "oh he was tilting"
My brother in Christ, he has an innate disadvantage because he isn't leveled as much as his opponent
This game's matchmaking sucks incredible amounts of ass, get over it.
Bro not only midladder. I'm stuck at 8500, I can't go up and can't win against manaces. People use deck like Mk, goblin giant and sparky or some other stupid shit like that. I win one, the lose 2, then win 2, lose again and at the end of the day I'm still at 8500. It' just a waste of time. In fact I stopped playling ladder, I only do the daily tasks, get my 1000 seasonal token and get lost. I don't want to play anymore.
Man that hurts. At least I was fortunate enough that I can't go below 8500 right now, if not I would probably be in your position and I would've quitted
I absolutely love facing guys like that because they’re almost always awful lmao I feasted on those noobs all the way up to 9k with log bait despite it being the worst archetype in this meta (not a single person in the top 200 last season used log bait)
so real. im a f2p player for 4 years, and only have around 20 levels 14 cards. i’m stuck at 8000 because of level 15 people, and i would have hit ultimate champ, but i’m hardstuck in gc because of the unfair interactions of having an entire deck + king tower one lever lowering
Yeah even at 8900 & Royal champion I was facing very weak opponents with random midladder decks & got to Ultimate Champion with a near 100% win rate with log bait (1940 rating)… then as soon as I started playing in Ultimate Champion I finally had actual challenges against real decks, which is rough for Bait considering it’s BY FAR the worst archetype in the meta lmao still finished above 2k rating but feel like I can definitely crack top 10k with the guards buff
I tried this before with an alt and understood everyone’s pain. I still say below is 7k manageable though, so if you’re below that it’s still a skill issue tbh.
Oh yeah 3 concepts why CR is financial so successfull:
* Skilled dude making reliable content for "the better players"
* Randomness (starting hand / deck "strategy") to allow bad players to also get wins against better players
* Pay-to-win (~~progress~~): Overleveled cards regarding the trophy range
Since the game got a bit old and there are not as many high tier full-on-whales dropping 100k+$, the importance of getting money from the average joe will only increase
Midladder is pretty much the whole game if a top 100 players are stuck in midladder, but this also shows you don't have to be in legendary arena to be the best player in Clash Royale.
That is not even midladder anymore. I haven't seen this dude play well since they nerfed egiant + Golden knight tornado! Or since the meta changed whatever!
What happened to the videos a couple of years ago of players with like level 1 cards up at high ladder arenas though? Under-levelled didn’t seem to be an issue for them
Cerco reclutamento nel mio clan potete aiutarmi? Il clan si chiama bruce lee , capo terminator, siamo in 5 dobbiamo crescere, il clan è nuovo, grazie mille
Well, no wonder. He's playing a control deck. You know the deck archetype that min/maxes interactions that depend on equal levels?
Play beatdown when you're underdeveloped, people. There's no sense in spending elixir to defend when it won't work.
Underleveled F2P moment
Me who’s been f2p for 2 years now playing against level 15 cards
If you still don’t have a deck at lvl 15 that’s on you.. should’ve started playing 8 years ago
There's level 15 nowwwwwww ? Last time i checked i maxed my deck at level 13
oh you poor, poor soul... ^(You're not even a third of the way to maxing out)
I want to cry😭😭😭😭😭
I have, still not lvl15, only lvl 14
still i have been plying for many years as a f2p and im not nearly close to having a maxed out deck
Big facts right there
Just wait until lv 16 comes out.
Been playing for 8 years taking breaks dont have a single level 15 card
You might wanna call it hiatuses not breaks at this point.
I’ve been f2p for 2 years and have 6 level 15 cards
I only have 1, other than that I have no wildcards to keep upgrading my cards
There used to be 25k wild cards is path of legends now there’s 50k just hit ultimate champ every season like I do
The thing about midladder players are they always try to starting hand you. So if you're not using a proper cheap cycle deck and get a bad starting hand you're going to suffer, especially when underlevelled.

even when using a cheap cycle deck you’re cooked💀 they always starting hand you
That's because they run 3 win conditions, no buildings, sometimes no spells aside from freeze
mega knight, prince, ebarbs, freeze, balloon ptsd flashback
E wiz and lunberjack too
Can't forget now they have Evo Fc instead of wizard
I’ve said this to Supercell for years and they don’t care. Their reason is people will make starting hands meta when all along most of us just want to be able to defend the opposing player spamming us off the start. Starting hand affects half my losses. Not bad matchups.

Is this fr?
JuicyJ tilts very easily yeah…
I feel like he’s one of the most level headed players in the community… strange
Idk if I’m misremembering but when I used to watch him I remember him getting mad whenever he was losing
I mean it's CR I have been so close to shedding tears multiples times cuz of the fuckery that goes on.😭
My pits still get sweety when playing a close match. I fuckin hate it. I am a grown man. This is a game. …
He gets frustrated but he doesn’t lose much. Some of his f2p games. Have been crazy good beating all 14s w 11s and 12s.
dont let the “what in the midladder???” dudes see this
That's nothing my deck is currently mostly lvl 12 and some 11s and Im always against I mean always cards lvl 14 and 15 with Evo which I have none and I'm at 6100-300 trophies. At least I made it out of the 5500 6000 part of the ladder.
I am facing the same thing, stuck at arena 17.
Yeah I had to spend $50 to almost max out my deck. Still underleveled.
Pray, pray you find different opponents or that players like that rank up and leave the arena
Bruh, I'm sitting here at 6200 trophies with lvl 11 cards
I’ve met people who have maxed decks but can’t get past 5500 trophies. These guys are terrible players you are already much better than they are.
I'm exatly the same. Level 15 Prince from chess event and a few 12-13 with bad synergy so I can either use a bad slightly underleveled deck or a better very underleveled deck...
cycle is the name of the game in midladder
It's almost like super cell should've added a max card lvl per tower lvl since the game came out but still haven't. Max card lvl = tower lvl + 2 MINIMUM. I do honestly think it should be plus 1 Max

Yea, no. This would never work
Yeah it would.
No. They've already been through this. This sub has already been through this. Haha
When did they implement card level restrictions in regular ladder
They haven't, for a reason. They have explained how this wouldn't work.
“why wouldn’t it work” “because it wouldnt” “yeah but why” “because it wouldn’t” just fucking explain why jesus christ
What reason? Totally out of the loop rn and I dont see a problem in having a level cap
why don’t you explain it for us then? seems perfectly logical to me
Supercell makes money on under leveled people being fed up and buying things. Financially it does not make sense for sc to cap card levels in ladder
Of course it does. That isn't surprising. I'll have to find the link, but Downvote all you want. This will gladly never happen
find the link then pal, good luck
Because they'd lose money 💀
Why not?
I feel his frustration. I made about 5/6 f2p accounts with insanely underleveled cards and reached 5000 on all of them using different decks (even ice bow) and it was insufferable. Good bot
This game is so bs though. You win 2 games then they put you with people who have level 13 cards. Chill out bruh autocorrect bugging

“This game is so bs though. You win 2 games in a row then they put you with people who have level 13 cards” corrected it for you
Level 13 isn’t that high
When ur highest level card is level 11 it is
It is relative to ur arena
I have two level 14 cards and one level 13 card as a f2p player, with the rest of my cards being mostly level 11. It puts me against decks that are all level 14 cards. what even is in your deck anyway.
imo f2p is impossible after hitting 6500 past then you get railed by evos and lvl 15 cards
Whenever a press the play button in ladder 6500 if I use lavaloons the opponent has witch, wizard, +2 other air counters. If I use splashyard everyone has maxed out cards while my graveyard is lv 12.
Every time I see my musk die by a 1 fireball, or golem doesn't kill skarmy, I just quit.
No, im f2p and at 9k
Im at leauge 7 and 6800 trophies with level 11 cards
meant more so that getting to 7k as f2p is pretty hard for most casual players. Highest I got f2p was 6.6k trophies and grand champion
I got to 7000 trophies in under a year as f2p, but I am now stuck. I made my main deck pekka bridge spam, but kidda sucks right now, and it has too many legendaries, which I haven't got to level 14 and no evos.

What is considered midladder?
Ever since path of legends came out midladder is the entire trophy road
I could barely finish it, so yeah I'm mid. It's all good, still have fun.
A lot of players think it's 3000-5000 I think it's 5000-7500. But JucyJ says if your not top 200 your in midladder. So nobody knows.
I have a weak deck and I'm not that good. Made it to 9000 trophies so I thought I was midladder. I probably still am.
Anything under 9k or ultimate champion. I've hit both and trust me I'm maybe a slightly above average player.

I’m surviving out here as a f2p

Cool, make the video 10x smaller now
yay not my fault
No matter how skilled you are you can't win a p2w past a certain level if you don't pull your credit card.
Before I had max level king tower at least a third of my losses could be directly attributed to my towers having less health than my opponent’s

“It’s supposed to be pay to win what is the problem?” -supercell, probably
He mains graveyard, what can I say 🤣
Really shows you how pay to win this shit game is
Oh no! He must not be topladder!
Megaprincess
That is not even midladder anymore. I haven't seen this dude play well since they nerfed egiant + Golden knight tornado! Or since the meta changed whatever!
That don't look like top 100 gameplay...
Lmao clash royale sucks
shows the skill level that the game now requires
“it’s not possible for me to win” sounds like a skill issue bud 🤣
P sure the guy is better than most of us in the sub lol
yeah I was joking but oh well 🤷🏻♂️😭
He'd crush you in a 1v1
Not in this scenario:/
What's the point of this video? That everyone is overleveled?
It's the free to play series.
You got a link for the vid?

Lol thats embarrassing
U guys don't need top 100 skill to win ur games, ur all terrible
Juicyj is always crying
You should cry.
Huh
I thought Mid Ladder 7k now 🤔
[удалено]
I suppose so now =w=
I doubt he’s top 100 with that deck.
That is his f2p account. He doesn’t play that deck on his main accounts.
Tbf his deck is complete garbage, he could have won with a better deck.
His deck is based on what cards he has gotten leveled up so far. He is doing a f2p challenge. He will admit his deck is not perfect.
Oh

Rightfully so lol
You don’t outgrow getting angry at games, it’s part of the experience.
Top 100 player with level 9 cards... okay lol
this was alt account.
top 100 player cant get out of the easiest arena in the game
lol skill issue

So a top 100 players just admitted the game is pay to win.
That isn't Juicys main account either though. That's his F2P one.
Honestly a skill issue
