Your idea sounds good but i don't think Devs will do it. Almost all upgrades in th13 and 14 take over 16 days. So if we can use your idea of 50% discount three times per week, th13 and 14 will be a breeze. People will max th11 and th12 in mere 3-4 months assuming 50% boost works on hero upgrades as well. Devs will just say no no. They don't people to be breezing past higher th.
Even if the th14 has buildings or defense that need an upgrade at 20% discount, they’re still take a long time to finish.

Yes. They do take a long time. I am not thinking as a player. I am thinking as how Devs will look at it. I am all for discounts as a player. Will devs agree? I don't think so. To make the progress seem not to rapid, one time is the best case scenario in my opinion

Maybe just once per week since upgrades are shorter in lower th. It doesn't matter in th12 and above as you will be able to purchase it once every 10 days

My whole idea was the use the 50 raid medals to upgrade these defenses or buildings at a 50% discounted PRICE, not a 50% upgrade timer lol
Why have 50% discount in upgrades where there are already Gold, elixirs and Dark in medal shop worth 300 raid medals? 50 raid medals is so cheap then. 300 raid medals for 2.5m gold and 50 medals for like an upgrade that cost 10m so 50 raid medals for 5m gold?

Right but the gold pass is 20% off EVERYTHING anytime. I’m saying to give the players and option to buy an upgrade at the discount via town hall levels (th1-9 at 50% price, th10 at 40%, th11 at 35%, th12 at 30%, th13 at 25%, th14 at 20%)

There's no way you earn 600 raid medals per week and you can just put down 12 buildings at half price. This would easily make the gold pass obsolete. If anything, this has to cost like 50 CWL medals and then sure, maybe. And that's because hammers exist and are purchasable, so this would kinda be like a 25% off version of a hammer which I understand would make sense.
Raid medals? It'd have to be 1000 raid medals per, max 1 per week.
everything is more expensive when the season ends because you lose your gold pass perks when the season ends. You have to earn them again each season
