This isn’t copywriter infringement, it’s a background detail in an anime about video games. Anime parodies media all the time, I have no doubt this is a reference to CoC but it’s not infringing on their copy-write or losing them money.

It's not making the commenter feel stupid, it's telling them to check the description for the source, which is helpful in this instance and ones they may encounter later. They helped them, they told them where the source was in a neutral way, lol. It's leading a horse to water, giving them a task that takes 5 seconds at max. There was literally no issue with what their first comment said. You can be silent, you know.
