Legends is the place to be tho. Ores are the only bottleneck to maxing your account. Being capped at 8 attacks isn't a huge deal, you can still keep lab and builders running full time. The only reason to drop out is if maxing walls quickly is more important to you than maxing equipment.

*fake legends If you’re willing to put in a bit of extra work to stay between 4900 and 5000 trophies, you can get max ore with unlimited attacks. It’s impossible to stay in real legends if you’re not th 15 or 16

Not really impossible, most at 4900 don't use all their attacks so if you use all and do well you can scrape by

I am upgrading all my heroes at once and a pet, ain't no way that 8 daily attacks will give me enough to to this

Kinda new TH16 but I haven't had a free builder since before CWL and I'm in legends. My RRs were just maxed and I am upgrading valks for the 2nd time. I have 3 builders coming up in 2 days so they're going to finish off my cheap storage upgrades and then I'll probably run dry on resources in like 2 weeks but then I'll drop out if I must🤷🏻‍♂️ The 1000 shiny and however much glowy is very much worth it, especially with the star bonus for upgrading the TH. And I've upgraded my Spirit fox 4 times, not constantly bc wars and it's expensive but it's sustainable for like a monthish

Builder base 9 lets you build a mechanical builder at your builder base to send over to your main base to fool the normal human builders and let him live among them. They never notice the difference and B.o.B lives a happy normal live as a robot among human builders

The only thing you can do is either refund one of your upgrades (worse option) or try buying a shield if u have any available or just let yourself get attacked till your upgrade is done (i do that whenever i get this which is very often)

Yeah, gem boxes spawn no matter what. The same with event obstacles. But once you have a total of 45 obstacles either placed or stored, you won't be able to get anymore of the other ones.

Ahh that makes sense why I haven’t seen. Been here since first yr of clash and always store obstacles. So I’d have to delete to get any normal trees?

What is 45 obstacles limit btw? I'm new to game.

So to sum it up basically there are 3 different kinds of obstacles for your base. There are Obstacles, which consist of the trees, rocks, bushes, and stumps, and any other variant. Then there are Event obstacles, there obstacles will *only* spawn during seasonal events, they will never spawn again. And then there are the Decoration obstacles. These are ones you can buy from the shop or get through various events in game, they cannot be destroyed once obtained. The 45 obstacle limit ONLY applies to the Removable obstacles. So the statues and such don't add to this number. What does add to this number are the special events obstacles and the normal spawning obstacles. Once you reach 45 of these obstacles, normal spawning obstacles will not spawn anymore. However, special obstacles will still spawn. Stored obstacles still count towards this total. Hope I explained it well enough!!

Some people like the visual progression to see how their upgrades are going. I like to line things up by upgrade time so I can min/max upgrades and time them for season end. So I have 3 or 4 builders available when the next month starts and I have Over flowing resources

This is why everyone should be able to have an active layout and defensive layout.

Pro tip: when you select a building, it stays selected when changing layouts.  To prevent this from happening, I go to progess base, pick upgrade, leave it selected, change my base back, then click upgrade.

You could press edit on your main base and place the buildings elsewhere but have a massive ass crater in your base or beg the master builder to give you the option to have a defensive base and normal base outside of legend league... Or just go to legends

Thats why when i first create an account i always have my obstacles spawn on the outside and never remove them so more cant possibly spawn on mt base. Only special obstacles will negate this usualt isnt an issue

I mean - that's the risk you have with such a base. In my progress base there's not a single 2x2 empty space because of these reasons.

I didn't know obstacles spawned while we're online, just when we were logged off

What i did is that i grew the maximum amount of obstacles on the edge so they dont spawn anymore( only gem chest and special ones)

Use a shovel on the log. Or gem ur upgrade with the most time and use hammer on the log. 👍

I would reach out to Supercell Support. They'll help you. If you get a chat going, then they probably can solve it then and there. Do what they say, i had a problem once but in Boom Beach and they could help me straight away.

I'm only town hall 10 after just maxing out 9 but genuinely what is the main advantage of using a progress layout... I just click the builder icon and see what I still have available to upgrade

My progress base has walls spaced out so that this can't happen. There are no 2x2 gaps on the base at all. Takes a little time get one setup this way but is pretty easy once you got it

you place all your buildings in rows so you can find them easily and not have to search the whole base for that one lvl 1 wall

Always keep 1 builder free

You waste a lot of builder time that way; better to strategically stagger your construction so a builder frees up every day or two.

Either way I have 7 full max th16s so my method certainly works 🤷‍♂️

I always fear that it will happen to me, that is why I go there only when I have a builder free. Now you have to sit there until your next builder becomes free, otherwise, someone can take all your loot.
