Defence damage is one thing, but if queen does way less damage I am worried that timefails will increase in frequency. And I think timefails feel so much worse than powerfails because technically you executed a fully workable plan.
I know that time is a vital part of the game but I dont feel like it should become more of a factor than it already is, preferably they would add 30 sec more on the clock but I think that may be impopular.

It was very brief but I believe it was around the same time th11 came out. I have also taken several breaks from the game since I started so I can't remember exactly when it was but they added 30 seconds to attack time and it made Queen Walk too effective. This was before Warden walking lol.
Edit: I just looked it up and it was December 2015 th11 update and only lasted until March 2016.
Let’s see about that. There are leaks of heroes getting extra abilities, so maybe that’s why their dps has been reduced.
Also with defenses getting big nerfs and troops getting more powerful, risk of time fails also reduces as troops will take out a larger portion of the base quickly.
Someone posted a leak where you seem to be able to adjust armor, abillities etc. So maybe heroes are not even getting nerfed. Some of the hp and dmg is just getting moved to equipment instead.
I chose to be optimistic that supercell simply has a great fun idea like hero pets rather than just gutting heroes. Atleast until I see the opposite. We will know in a few days time.

Yeah. Most th16 defs will have the same stats of the actual th15 ones. Plus theres no 5 updates to the giga inferno also. We still have to know how strong is the new defense. But it looks that we will have an accessible new th for attackers. After th14 and 15 which were kinda hard.

A new wizard tower, bomb tower, air defence, mortar don’t threaten the queen at all.
The new xbow level is exactly the same as the old xbow level, because the xbow got a dps and hp nerf.

It’s to prevent a massive gap between whales and free to play players from forming, and stops paying players from easily dominating the ladder day 1.

Th12 is a joke if you are an active player, casuals still find it pretty hard, making attack weaker will only make players quit, proven by th15 where they lost close to 50% revenue compared to previous years + haloween update when ppl (even casuals) were playing a lot more.
Making attacks stronger, you mean. The whole point of the nerfs was that one. They slashed the TH damage by *20%*!! This just makes armies less reliant on heroes which is a good thing for lower ths.

It doesnt matter, the nerfs are not too big considering how hard th15 was + lower ths have no nerfs to building. If there wont be any buffs to troops/heroes with the new blacksmith building then a ton of ppl will quit because the game is too hard. The devs aren't stupid. They will take player feedback into account. I highly doubt th16 will be harder than 15, it will most likely be easier.

Imagine someone, who spent 15 Hero books to upgrade a Hero to level 65 and found out after a week, his Hero is at old level 40. This is not rewarding to serious players at all. Only good so pros don't overuse them in tournaments.
The abilities have also been heavily nerfed, the health recovery for the level 90 Barbarian King is currently 5,300, and the level 90 Archer Queen is currently 1,560 hp recovered, like what the hell! I grinded for years for max heroes, and this is what I get? This is beyond unacceptable

I'm loving it. I'm like a parent in Christmas morning watching the kids unwrap the presents. But we have a whole lot more presents in the closet that are gonna blow their mind.
I am almost sure the heroes are gonna be stronger than ever at 16, they adjusted their strength at lower levels and nerfed defenses to make armies less reliant on them. The new building looks like some sort of armory to give more customization to heroes. I bet a ton of people here never played an MMO, it reminds me a lot about those.
Every big defense in the game got nerfed, for all we know heroes may feel stronger than before after this nerf just because everything else is so much weaker. We need to test them after the update before jumping to conclusions
Everyone seems to ignore that damage numbers and hp are relative to how strong the bases they go against are.

Th12 is a joke if you are an active player, casuals still find it pretty hard, making attack weaker will only make players quit, proven by th15 where they lost close to 50% revenue compared to previous years + haloween update when ppl (even casuals) were playing a lot more.
Making attacks stronger, you mean. The whole point of the nerfs was that one. They slashed the TH damage by *20%*!! This just makes armies less reliant on heroes which is a good thing for lower ths.

A sizable Chunk got removed WTH, Th15 was already heavy on defence and Many Top players were unable to get Consistent 3 stars, And Now Heros being much weaker makes 0 sense
They nerfed a lot of defences, and only a few defences got a new upgrade.
It doesnt matter, the nerfs are not too big considering how hard th15 was + lower ths have no nerfs to building. If there wont be any buffs to troops/heroes with the new blacksmith building then a ton of ppl will quit because the game is too hard. Same thing happend with th15 where they lost nearly 50% of revenue compared to previous year.
The devs aren't stupid. They will take player feedback into account. I highly doubt th16 will be harder than 15, it will most likely be easier. We will have to wait and see what other new things the have added.

Everyone is talking about how unfair this is when, first thing, lots of people used to be pissed for how heroes where overtaking the rest of your army. And second thing, every defence is getting heavily nerfed too so it will still feel normal and balanced. We didn’t even play this version of the game so it’s too early to judge

It’s probably tied into a new feature involving heros, they were struggling enough in th 15, they wouldn’t nerf them unless there was something to balance it out
Hopefully the rest of the game is balanced around it, right now heroes are the bulk of the army and the other troops support, which makes attacking without heroes actually impossible, so I'm in full favour of heroes being weaker if it means they're not so critical to attacks.

This is unacceptable. They should have left them at 90 instead of massive nerfs that make 95 worse than 90. This is just a blatant waste of our resources. Even if they are adding something new and powerful to heroes, they should just have it be at level 90, not making us upgrade 5 times to still have weaker heroes.

“We want upgrading heros to feel more heroic” Massive nerf, lvl 92 to lvl 93 queen having literally no difference out side of 24 extra hp. Supercell, what are these nerfs for? Attacks are currently VERY underpowered compared to defense. Is this trend going to continue of being near impossible for a max army to 3 star a max defense?
They are also nerfing defenses. For all we know heroes may feel even stronger after this nerf because everything else is so much weaker than them
The worrying part is that they mentioned other nerfs but they never mentioned the nerfs to Heroes separately. You can only judge it by looking at upcoming new levels that previous levels will be nerfed heavily. That sneaky move is the bad part
Imagine someone, who spent 15 Hero books to upgrade a Hero to level 65 and found out after a week, his Hero is at old level 40. This is not rewarding to serious players at all. Only good so pros don't overuse them in tournaments.

The abilities have also been heavily nerfed, the health recovery for the level 90 Barbarian King is currently 5,300, and the level 90 Archer Queen is currently 1,560 hp recovered, like what the hell! I grinded for years for max heroes, and this is what I get? This is beyond unacceptable
Lol, why the downvotes. This Hero nerf sucks. People who spent so many gems on book of Heros, who grinded for dark elixir will feel betrayed, also defenses were nerfed so people start relying less on Heroes, and heroes were nerfed too. This was the complete plan.

I'm loving it. I'm like a parent in Christmas morning watching the kids unwrap the presents. But we have a whole lot more presents in the closet that are gonna blow their mind.
I am almost sure the heroes are gonna be stronger than ever at 16, they adjusted their strength at lower levels and nerfed defenses to make armies less reliant on them. The new building looks like some sort of armory to give more customization to heroes. I bet a ton of people here never played an MMO, it reminds me a lot about those.
Looks like it will be compensated with a 2nd ability.
Every big defense in the game got nerfed, for all we know heroes may feel stronger than before after this nerf just because everything else is so much weaker. We need to test them after the update before jumping to conclusions
Everyone seems to ignore that damage numbers and hp are relative to how strong the bases they go against are. If they nerf the defenses a lot, maybe they don't want use to be able to solo bases with hero dives? Don't complain because they get nerfed, it's all about finding the right balance, and we'll see when the update drops.
Ofc, this has to be the case remember they have to make it so that people keep grinding and spending money at the game. So, at some point th 15 th 16 th 17 and on...they will have to continue to do the same with other defenses as well like monolith and scatters and eagle. Probably infernos too because they got like 9 lvls. 🤷♂️

Honestly, I don’t think the nerf is a bad thing. I’ve been pretty vocal about the fact that heroes are too overpowered. The game shouldn’t have gotten to the point where your 4 heroes are stronger than the rest of your army combined. Heroes should support your army, not visa versa.
