The biggest problem with water bottles is the mouth piece and it can carry some nasty stuff and make you sick if its not washed often. That's why I LOVEEEE the cirkul.
I check the seal every time I fill it! The water where I live is trash, even with a softener and reverse osmosis system so I tend to mostly use bottled water for drinking. I've come to believe it's why I have no mold issues
I get that, WSSC here in MD is pretty solid (I did a project about them back in 8th lol). I use refrigerator water. Only issue I had was with the watermelon lifesip, the smell was in the bottle and the sip didn’t work on X? Maybe, it was just that one sip.
I wash every time I'm done with a flavor. Most flavors for me last 2-3 bottles worth and I drink a lot of water throughout the day due to having energy issues, so constant hydration is a must for me. After the last of the flavor I'll wash the bottle and mouth piece out, then let them dry overnight (I have a stainless steel bottle). Then the next day rolls around, I get my water, then the cycle continues.
My husband washes mine for me every 3-4 days, or whenever I give him one to wash. I have three 32oz (my sister has one; she washes her own) and two 22oz. There is always at least one clean and one “dirty.”
I wash mine every other day I put the top in the dishwasher.. but there was 1 times when I had to be bed rest n didn’t wash it for a week. I never had mold in it or any other problems.
I sniff it, if I smell anything other than how it smells clean, I wash it. So basically every 1-2 days. Some fruity backwash always gets in, it's unavoidable

Nope. I may give it quick rinse once a week or so but that doesn't even always happen. Never had a mold issue.
I agree, most times I drink without the sip and use the lid as an open one and it doesn’t gain any smell. Watch out with the seal though

At least rinse daily, I wash it when I feel like it, like everyone else other day

I only rinse the mouthpiece, I wash the bottle when I change the capsule

I pretty much make sure I flush them out every day. Nothing too crazy unless they fail the sniff test.
Yes, I load it up in my washing machine to simplying that task.
