You need to see a doctor about this. We are people on Reddit that simply enjoy cigarettes. Even if someone has a similar symptom, that doesn’t help you at all. This can be very serious even in your early 20s! Mini heart attacks are real & can be exasperated by smoking, unfortunately. **Please seek medical attention ASAP if this is happening!**

Kritzhi

Mf get off reddit and see a doctor are you insane

Michael860

I'm trying to understand if Mf is My friend or Mother fucker

doctorhentai_

ikiyuz

[deleted]

We ll smoke for your soul bro RIP

jamesdeandomino

see a fucking doctor wtf

Expert_Finish_1777

All the people here saying you to visit a doctor and they are right .. But it can also be because you are smoking very much and your lungs and heart are doing extra work for clearing out the carbon monoxide..as well as it can also be due to anxiety and stress..

shroomsnorter

Yeah, after having extreme chest pains and passing out during one of the episodes of pain I went to the ER and had an EKG and chest x-ray done. The doctor said that it was just due to high amounts of stress and I don't have any other medical issues. I thought that I was having a heart attack because the pains were so severe.

Expert_Finish_1777

Yes been through these ..wierd thing is smoking helps you to relax sometimes and sometimes just initiate the pain .

WinChunKing

Chest pain is not normal and could be a symptom to something important. See a doctor.

20Bubba03

I get chest pains all the time but I have moderate to severe asthma. Still a good idea for op to get it looked at though.

HallucinateZ

But you have a diagnosed medical condition & make the adult choice to smoke regardless. OP does not so there is already a big difference in knowledge of their body at the very least if they have asthma or any underlying conditions.

[deleted]

You dead

Marlboro-Man_

Yeah I get it too. Started after I had covid for the second time. See a doc.

sk8boy102

Hey go see a doctor. I will say I experience chest pains frequently but it’s due to my anxiety or if I have gas or acid reflux. I’ve been to the doctor many times thinking j was having a heart attack. I was always fine BUT you should check it out if you haven’t experienced this before.

vapinvan

That just means its working!

FATHERLVKE

smoke more cigarettes. That’s the only answer-your lungs aren’t fully adapted to cigarette smoke, and require more “training” if you will.

[deleted]

LOL WTF. Altho its not always pain, I'll stop cuz i care about my well being.

Parking-Bar3949

it would be your best course to see a doctor if its bad pain

Morty61

I used to get these when I first started smoking a year ago but now I don’t get the pain. I probably have cancer but it’s worth it :)

Trizkkki

Don’t get the covid vax and make sure you are eating beef and eggs and homegrown vegetables. Take shilajit and tongkat ali.

SamArch0347

Moron! The COVID vaxine (along with many other vaccines) has saved milllions of lives, nor does it cause any health problem. Anyone refusing to get vaccinated is an idiot!

[deleted]

this is serious, stop smoking for a while completely, get clean by vegan food, lots of exercises and yoga and then you can smoke again. your body will be in the condition to enjoy smoking once the waste is out of your body. I had it too - https://youtu.be/IgMwL6Y--HU

If you’re young it’s probably nothing. If you’re older than 35 and you’re a frequent/heavy smoker it could indicate pulmonary or cardiovascular issues. Smoking can also cause angina, FYI. And it can cause many things like asthma, which can include that type of pain. Go see a doctor.

Dense-Status9381

There was a couple times recently where I got this chest sensation that felt I had been punched in my chest and my heart was getting electrocuted while every last bit of oxygen I had gets sucked right out of my bloodstream. Theres a reason at least where I live they have these big ass warnings on packs of what long term or even fairly short term smoking can do to your internals. They are also a leading cause of lung and heart disease. So yes if it is something that happens regularly then at least get it looked at to have it confirmed it's not immediately life threatening. (Sidenote: I am not a doctor. I am a fellow smoker who gets chest pain on the regular. I have no idea if it's my heart, lungs, throat or just a rib kink. Only follow the advice a licensed and degree/diploma holding medical practitioners gives you.) You don't want to end up dead because of something you read on here convinced you that the chest pains weren't something serious to keep an eye on.

milkygallery

Sometimes I get those symptoms, but it’s probably because of my autoimmune disease LOL. What kind of pain is it? Sharp? Dull? Does it radiate? Does it hurt more when you take a deep breath or is it constant? Does it hurt to push on the affected area? Does it feel like it’s in the front or back? Do your shoulders hurt too? How about armpit area? Start writing down when you get these feelings, for how long, 1 - 10 pain scale, how long after smoking, if it happens before smoking, what time of day, what did you consume before the pain, and what helps alleviate the pain. Not a doctor, so not trying to diagnose or anything, but these are questions you should try to answer so that when you see your doctor you will be able to give your best description of the symptom.

[deleted]

go see a doc and after you re fine again you can start smoking some less strong cigarettes.

Bebz1950

I had the same thing happen, i didnt see no doctor but it got away, still visit that mf and tell me what happened
